83882/E8 Repairs to roads including berms and road marking paint, road furniture in certain area at AF Stn Jorhat under GE (AF) Jorhat

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder (V-10) @ 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and as dirtected.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5 Kg/ 10Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premix asphaltic semi-dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for premix bituminous mecadam with paving bitumen (considering binder content, grade VG-30 of 4% by weight of total mix) laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing and applying 2.5mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi-automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt seals, oil, grease and foreign materials etc. for lines, arrows, letters etc. with or girth exceeding 100mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for road cat eye of ABS material (with nail) of size 100 x 100 x 20mm with 19 glass beads each side all as per Cat No.OS-776 of make OSCAR or equivalent of make as specified in PS including taking out unserviceable cat eyes complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for solar road studs size 125 x 125mm x 25mm thick and 55mm long, 40mm dia with 06 Nos holes bulb (03 on each side) electronically operated and desoperative automatically powered from rechargeable nickel cadmium with polycarbonate cover solar cell and yellow reflective polycarbonate cover on sides complete fixed on road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS all as per Cat No.OS-809 of make OSCAR or equivalent of make as specified in PS including taking out unserviceable cat eyes complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for delinator made of 80mm dia mild steel pipe duly painted as directed and microprismatic reflective strips of yellow/ green/ red colour on four side including mesh of high grade reflective pattern all as per Cat No.OS-807 of make OSCAR or equivalent of make as specified in PS, fixed on edge of road including PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded broken stone aggregate) as foundation of size 300 x 300 x 300mm, excavation and making good the disturbed surfaces including taking out unserviceable cat eyes complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for speed bump made from heavy duty ABS, UV stabilized black and yellow combination high reflective reflection having 70mm length, 23mm wide availble on both sides in red yellow colour (H=75mm, W=500mm and L=425mm) all as per Cat No.OS-793 of make OSCAR or equivalent of make as specified in PS complete all as specified and as directed.
