SPECIAL REPAIRS TO WATER PIPE LINE OF LAL MESS (RO PLANT) AT AF STATION TAMBARAM

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr depth and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out in hard/dense soil for taking out/laying of pipe lines complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning and filling in soil including spreading, leveling, watering and well remming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and Labour for taking up old corroded GI and CI Pipe lines as per site from trenches including fittings and branch connections if any from trench of size 80 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : The contractor is responsible for taking down old CI and GI pipe lines along with fittings from the site carefully & correctly, the same to be recorded stretch wise separately and diagram to be submitted separately to the Deptt. The Deptt is responsible for CI pip fittings as obtained from the site to be converted into iron scrap for sch of credit and lead to be taken on ledger charge.

Supply and lay 3 layer PP-R (Polypropylene random copolymer) pipes ISI marked SDR 7.4 & SDR 11 UV stablised and antimicrobial fusion welded having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R plain & brass threaded polypropylene random fittings fixed/cutting and making fusion joint etc compete laid in trenches , fixed on walls or laying in floors/under road,on the ground or on supports above ground etc as per site of size of outer dia 90 mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : The firm is responsible to repair existing damaged valve pits during taking down/laying of pipe lines and connected items and the same repair cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply and fixing in replacement PP-R Gate valves(Brass insert), ISI marked male socket etc asper requirement of site for bore of pipe 20 mm size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement Gate valves(Brass insert), ISI marked male socket etc asper requirement of site for bore of pipe 40 mm size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement PP-R Gate valves(Brass insert), ISI marked male socket etc asper requirement of site for bore of pipe 50 mm size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement CI sluice valve of size 80 mm dia confirming to IS -14846 PN-1.0 non raising type both ends flanged with SS spindle including jointing materials such as nuts, bolts washers,02 Nos additional GI valve flanges to fix in PP-R pipes and 3mm rubber gasket 02 Nos complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement CI Non Return valve conforming to IS-5312 Part - I PN 1.6 having flanged end joints suitable size of 80 mm dia including jointing materials such as nuts, bolts washers,02 Nos additional GI valve flanges to fix in PP-R pipes and 3mm rubber gasket 02 Nos complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for cutting of existing road/ floor/ plinth/drain for taking out/laying of GI/PP-R pipes line including necessary earth work excavation and making good to match with existing surface with PCC 1:4:8 type C1 by (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) of thickness not less than 20cm and width not exceeding 45cm complete all as specified and as directed by Enginee-in-charge.

M&L for Plain Cement Concrete 1 :3: 6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregrate as in thrust block for pipe lines etc including necessary form work all as specified and as directed by Enginee-in-charge.

Material and Labour for new Construction of brick masonary valve chamber of size 900x900x900mm(internal dimensions) with PCC 1:4:8 foundation 150 mm thick brick masonry wall 230mm thick built in CM 1:6 PCC 1:3:6 Type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate coping 50 mm thick plastering 15mm thick in CM 1:6 to all internal and exposed surfaces and applying three coats of white wash on plastered surface excavation and earth work in hard/dense soil including provision of MS sheet cover 3 mm thick with locking arrangement embedded in PCC coping and painting all steel surfaces with two coats of syenthetic enamal paint over one coat of red oxide primer etc.complete all as specified and as directed by Enginee-in-charge.
