REPAIR/MAINT OF EPOXY PAINTING IN AIRCRAFT SHELTERS, MARKING TO DISPERSALS, LINKS, TAXITRACKS AND SIGNAGE BOARDS CONNECTED WORKS IN AIRFIELD AT TECH AREA AFS GWALIOR

M&L for preparation of old existing concrete floor surface of any description and in any position by brooming down/ wire brushing & finally cleaning with compressor and to make the surface dust free and providing 5mm thick antistatic EPU flooring including prime coat, screed coat, conductive coat, self levelling top coat including removing old sealant cleaning and filling existing joints all as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

M &L for preparation surface of epoxy flooring and painting with three coats of polyurethane based paint over a coat of primer to lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc of colour as approved by Airforce authorities and GE complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, in soft/loose soil including removal of surplus soil complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair aluminium extrusion framed work as in runway/links mandatory and informative signage boards including joining cleats, aluminium snap beading, rubber gasket, U channel etc including necessary fixture complete all as specified & directed. Note : 1. Rates are included for demolition of old cement concrete required to dismantle old DTGM/Signage boards upto ground level and removing the material exc 250 mtr away from runway complete all as specified and directed.

S& F in repair of Runway/Links mandatory and informative signage boards front legend facia made out of 4mm thick UV stabilized polycarbonate/ Acrylic sheet with letter and symbols made by computerized cutting of commercial grade retro reflective sheeting pasted with pressure sensitive adhesive provides clear visual information in low light and poor weather as per specifications and requirement of Airforce authorities. Colour of background and lettering (size and spacing) shall be as per ICAO Annex-14 volume 1 and Aerodome Design Manual Part 9157 Part 6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : Rates are included for supplying new rubber gasket to fix above panel in existing aluminium frame.

Surface excavation n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil including removal of excavated soil exc 500m but n exc 1000m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1( using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling, plinth for DTGM/signage boards etc including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 ( using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling etc including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces of wall in CM 1:6 finished even and smooth complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for scrapping of existing water base paint/ reflective paint on rigid/flexible pavement of runway by manually with wire brush, steel scraper or mechanically and brooming down the surface including removal of debris outside the runway etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for one coat of water base paint for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on bituminous/concrete surfaces exceeding 10cm width with Machine (Air/ Airless spray applications). Colour of Water base paint will be white, yellow, black & red as per the requirement in Air field complete all as specified and directed . Paint shall be conforming to IS-164 of Berger "Guideline RM 164" , Asian paints "Apcotrak IS" or equivalent as approved by GE. Specification of the machine is as under :- Graco line lazer 5900 with 2 guns, Graco line lazer 200HS, Wagner company or equivalent with same specifications.

Description all as per item No 14 here-in-before but, including Black Border complete all as specified and directed.
