ROAD WORK

Excavating, supplying and filling of local earth (including royalty) by mechanical transport upto a lead of 5km also including ramming and watering of the earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in trenches, plinth, sides of foundation etc. complete.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. With material conforming to Grade-I (size range 75 mm to 0.075 mm) having CBR Value-30

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WBM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achievethe desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Scarifying metalled (water-bound) road surface including disposal of rubbish, lead upto 50 m and consolidation of the aggregate received from scarifying with power road roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity.

Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion conforming to IS:8887 using emulsion pressure distruibuter including preparing the surface & cleaning with mechnical broom. With medium setting bitumen emulsion on WBM /WMM @ 0.4Kg/sqm.

Providing & laying bituminous macadam using crushed stone aggregates of specified gradding premix with bituminous binder transferred to site by tripper, laid over a previousely prepared surface with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade , level & alignment and rolling smooth wheeled vibratory and tandem roller asper specification to achive the desired compaction and density , complete as per specification & directons of Engineer-in -Charge. 50 to 100mm average compacted thickness with bitumen of grade V-30 @ 3.5% (by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity

Providing & laying semi-dense Bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed wth bituminius binder and filler , transporting the hot mix to work site by trippers, laying with paver finisher equiped with electronic ensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled vibratory & tandem roller to achive the desired compaction and density as per specification , complete and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. 25mm compacted thickness with bitumen of grade 30 @ 5% ( percentage by weight of total mix) and lime fileter @ 2% ( percentage by weight of aggregates) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. All kinds of soil.

Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of ail dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete. 2.5 cm premix carpet surfacing with 2.25 cum and 1.12 cum of stone chippings of 13.2 mm and 11.2 mm size respectively per 100 sqm and 52 kg and 56 kg of hot bitumen per cum of stone chippings of 13.2 mm and 11.2 mm size respectively, including a tack coat with hot straight run bitumen, including consolidation with road roller of 6 to 9 tonne capacity etc. complete (tack coat to be paid for separately). With paving Asphalt grade VG - 30 with no solvent

Providing and laying seal coat of premixed fine aggregate ( passing 2.36 mm and retained on 180 micron sieve) with bitumen using 128 kg of bitumen of grade VG - 10 bitumen per cum of fine aggregate and 0.60 cum of fine aggregate per 100 sqm of road surface, including rolling and finishing with road roller all complete.
