Designing , drawing, providing, fabricating and erecting Mild Steel work in Roof trusses and framework: Designing, drawing, providing, fabricating and erecting at site of work the tubular hot finished steel structure (shed) as per approved design, drawing and specifications having various spans in between trusses and in multiples of standard length of bays as specified as per standard specifications, inclusive of cost of breaking the brick bat coba till mother slab for bottom plate fixing, steel tubular trusses, tubular columns purlins, tie runners, Stainless Steel foundation bolts, base plates, nuts and bolts, welding wherever required etc. as per detailed drawing inclusive of one coat of anticorrosive epoxy primer and two coats of epoxy painting of approved quality and shade etc. complete. Tentative Mild Steel (MS) section sizes to be used for roofing work (as per design approved by EIC):- a) Trusses: MS square/ rectangular pipes (75 X 75 X 2.6mm) of hot finished welded type tube member of size as per site requirement. b) Vertical columns: MS square pipes (100 X 100 X 3mm) of hot finished welded type tube size as per site requirement. Column spacing should be at equidistant @ approx. 7.00m c/c 3 nos. of columns to support truss, (2 at both ends and 1 at centre) c) Purlins: MS square/ rectangular pipe (50 X 50 X 2.6mm) of hot finished welded type tube, spacing @ approx. 1.20m c/c. e) Foundation Plate: To be fixed over mother slab (after chipping of top brick bat coba layer) having plate size as per site requirement but min.12 mm thick, including chemical grouting over plates. f) Stainless Steel foundation bolts: Bullet fastener of M/s. Hilti or approved equivalent make of size 150x12 mm. i) Painting: Painting over new MS structure with one coat of zinc chromate primer and one to two coats of epoxy of approved make. NOTE: 1. The truss design to be submitted by the contractor should be as per IS specifications and considering the live load, dead load, solar panel load (wherever instructed by EIC) and wind pressure on the structure, complete. (Drawing should be signed by any reputed structural designer.) 2. MS framework and roofing is required to be done over all terrace areas including the area over mumty room, water tanks and lift machine room, with proper gutters and down take pipe drain system.

The scope includes laying of panels in the approved orientation, maintaining proper end and side laps, fixing with self-drilling epoxy coated fasteners complete with EPDM washers, stitching of panel joints, installation of ridge caps, end caps, side flashings, corner flashings, apron flashings, eave flashings, stitching screws, closure profiles, foam fillers, butyl sealant tape, silicone sealant, and all necessary accessories to ensure a weatherproof and leak-proof roofing system. Final handover of the completed roofing system in accordance with approved drawings and standard engineering installation practices etc. complete as directed by EIC.
