Reconditioning of 914 mm dia. sluice valve and reflux valve installed at Rising main no.5 at Tawi Pump House Jammu .Dismounting Reflux Valve by way of dismantling conc. block under and around reflux valve to free duck foot of Reflux Valve using tools and tackles like jack hammer, chisel ,hammer etc, cutting MS rising main from one side , opening/cutting rusted Nuts and Bolts of flanges of reflux Valve holding 914 mm dia. Reflux valve with the help of Hydra crane from long distance and within limited space available using sling and then sluice valve, opening/cutting nuts and bolts of sluice valve, lifting reflux valve and sluice valve components, moving them to the workshop by loading into the mechanical transport and shifting to the workshop. ( Reflux Valve and Sluice Valve would be handled and lifted from long Distance /limited space available at site ,job requires expertise, heavy duty crane/ special arrangement to handle( dismount/ extract and lift for loading in Mechanical Transport for repairs in Workshop. Extracting out worn-out components Viz flaps, flap pins, bushes, bypass arrangement such as valve and pipe, nuts and bolts from the reflux valve of PN rating 1.6. Cleaning the valve from inside as well as outside and making inside surface smooth with emery paper by removing rust, clay. Providing and fitting of one No. Door (bottom) fitted with door rings and GM bushes as per sample, P/F seat rings -06Nos, door ring of GM for other Two Nos. doors, replacing damaged bushes in doors hinges and body of reflux valve by fabricating and fitting New GM bushes of size as per requirement, P/F new hinge pins, p/F new HT nuts and bolts suitable for pressure rating PN 1.6 as per sample. The job includes fitting of flap rings and seat rings by properly riveting/screwing with their respective components using suitable rivets/screws of required material so that rings firmly secure with the body/door and with stand required working pressure. The size and material of parts should be as per original The job also includes repairs to 02 Nos doors by depositing metal at worn out places then grinding finishing to obtain original profile.. Inlet and outlet shell of the body shall be fitted by providing high quality gasket, gland packing, adhesive and HT bolts and nuts. New parts fitted should be of high quality and grade to withstand maximum working pressure. The job also includes dismantling 100 mm bye pass valve (sluice Valve), replacing damaged parts such as stem rod stem nut ,face ring Etc, assembling by p/f superior quality gasket , gland packing ,nuts bolts and fitting after repairs . Painting reflux Valve from inside and outside after cleaning and applying a coat of red Oxide and then two coats of superior quality black paint .Complete job includes cost of material and labour charges. Reconditioning of 914 mm dia. sluice valve dismantled from the rising main by way of dismantling of wheels and spur gear and pinion on the top of the sluice valve. Dismantling the top cover of the sluice valve after cutting damaged nuts and bolts with gas cutter. Dismantling and extracting worn-out/damaged components viz stem rod, stem Nut, flap , flap pins, etc. Cleaning valve from inside and making surface smooth by using emery paper removing dust, clay. Repairing door Flap at worn out spots by depositing proper metal by welding and grinding finishing to original shape and size .Providing and fitting by way of fabrication of New Stem rod and stem Nut of size, specification and material as per original , providing and fitting of new spindle supporting top collar, HT bolts and nuts along with allied items. Finishing and polishing of face and seat portion to required size for proper closing of door of the valve. Assembling sluice valve using new items /parts in place of damaged ones. Top body cover is to be fitted using high quality gasket, gland packing and adhesive and new HT nuts and bolts. Applying fresh grease to the gear. The new parts fitted should be of high quality and grade to with stand maximum working pressure. Complete. Painting sluice Valve from inside and outside after cleaning and applying a coat of red Oxide and then two coats of superior quality black paint. Loading of newly fabricated and repaired component in the mechanical transport and shifting back to workshop and unloading at site with the help of crane. The job involves providing and fitting of new HT bolts -48Nos. of flanges as per sample. Job involves deployment of crane for holding and the placing sluice valve and reflux valve at proper position and fitting sluice valve and reflux valve on the rising main by providing and fitting of HT nuts, bolts, washers, rubber insertion sheet between two mating flanges, after making proper alignment and finally fitting distance piece between sluice valve and reflux valve. Rebuilding cement concrete block of proper strength using appropriate proportion of cement and aggregate including shuttering cost, providing and fitting new drain ball valve C.I Heavy duty of 50mm dia in place of damaged Valve Complete job includes hire charges of crane, manual labour and material required and charges of all tools and tackles required for execution of job.
