Isolate/de-energize the supply to the LT Panel Board of capacity ranging from 200 Amps to 2000 Amps and voltage 415 Volts/230 Volts, opening the doors/covers of the cubicle enclosure for carrying out the servicing/maintenance/repairs of the Panel Board, switch gear, metering etc and re-fixing the same in place after repairs including testing and commissioning of the paenl board comprising of the following:-

a) Cleaning the inside switch gear chambers for removing dust, carbon and rusted surfaces including cleaning with blower and apply insulating varnish.

b) Check the condition of the DMC/SMC support insulators including cleaning applying Dr beck red for better IR values and replacement of insulators if required.

c) Tightening up of all bus bar connections, cable connections, replace bolt, nuts wherever required.

Note : Contractor has to inspect the site before quoting. Any modifications/frame work and renewal is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. Spares will be measured and paid under relevant items of schedule

S&F in repair mild steel hinges suitable for LT panel board shutters incl welding, riveting complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting and taking down existing bus bars 4 wire system from LT panel board cleaning with CTC applying with becktol solution, removing old insulation and providing new heat shrink insulating sleeves, connecting and fixing in the same panel with new nuts, bolts, washers of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old existing worn out control wiring connections incl cable lugs of LT panel board of 4 wire system and supply and connect with new cable PVC insulated, stranded copper conductor 2.5 sqmm incl new copper lugs and nuts, bolts, washers complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old existing worn out cable lugs, nuts, bolts, washers etc from LT panel board of 4 wire system (incomming and outgoing) and supply and connect with new aluminium lugs and nuts, bolts, washers etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old existing worn out neoprene gasket from shutters of LT panel board single door /double doors or openable on both sides and supply and fix new neoprene gasket complete all as specified and directed.

S & F ACB (air circuit breaker) draw out type of rating 1600 Amps 4 pole, 50 KA, O/L, S/C, micro processor based release and cassette mounted horizontal draw out type fully interlocked cassette door automatic safety shutters, mechanical on and off indicators, service/test/isolated position with position indicators, provision of castell lock, with O/L, S/C with 3 CT's of standard ratings 4 blocks of 6 way sliding type LT disconnectors, error prevention plug, racking handle, safety shutters and painted with finished light grey shade as per IS:631 and as per IS 13947-2-1993 inclusive suitable length of bus bars complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay in trenches /under roads/ crossing or fixed to wall/ pole, GI tubing light grade of size 50mm bore for protection of UG cables complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for defect rectification high tension or LTcable laid in trenches by locating fault with the help of electronic fault locating machine comprising of surge generator pulse, ECHO fault locator with high frequency distance calculator etc.including and additional excavation in normal alluvial strata required for exposing the cable fault ; removal of deteriorated portion of cable treating of cable and keeping the same ready for jointing work for cable of size up to 185 Sq mm 3 core. The fault locating equipments will be brought to site within the hours of instruction from Engr-in-Charge as specified

M&L in repairs removing the UG cable for rectification of faults after fault detection excavating the area and Crimping with suitable ferrules/lugs or any other misc items providing suitable insulation tape and relaying complete after rectification of faults complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Excavated area shall be made good to original finish and no extra payment will be done on this account. The items like Lugs, Ferrules, nuts, bolts if any are deemed to be included in the rates quoted and no extra payment will be done on this account. Note: Item No 22 & 23 shall be attended immediately on intimtion by phone or SMS failing which an amount of Rs 5000/- per day after 2 days will be recovered as penality.

Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc or for laying cable etc n exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of excavated material/surplus soil to a distance n exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 50m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling river sand in trenches including spreading for cushioning of LT UG cable complete all as specified and as dirceted. Note : Punned down thickness shall be measured and paid .

M&L for sub class ‘B’ bricks old size laid flat dry in trenches over cable, across the direction of cable complete all as specified & directed .

Supply & Fix in repairs Mild steel plates, chequered, 5mm thick or over in thickness in available sizes of Fe 410-W (Gde-E-250) quality-A for covering cable trenches

S&F in repairs switch air break, gang operated HT 11 KV triple pole, mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and steel frame, vertically or horizontally with operating mechanism worked from ground level, for current rating up to 400 amps complete including taking down existing unserviceable switch.

Supply and jointing in replacement of heat shrinkable straight through joint suitable for LT 1100 volts XLPE cable of size 185 to 240 Sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and jointing in replacement of heat shrinkable straight through joint suitable for LT 1100 volts XLPE cable of size 70 to 150 Sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and jointing in replacement of heat shrinkable straight through joint suitable for LT 1100 volts XLPE cable of size 25 to 50 Sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for painting of steel tubular pole including cable protection pipe and all iron parts of 9 mtr long pole complete with 2 coats of aluminium paint after cleaning all rust and dust and preparing surface with wire brush and including strips of white and red colour of synthetic enamel paint up to the height of 1.5 mtr from the bottm of the pole and writing Ser No of pole with approved colour code complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 44 above but 11 mtr long Note forItem Nos 44 to 45: Removal rust on poles shall be done with suitable wire mesh or brush etc., If required blow lamp may be used for rust removal. Note:- Rent for hydra is included in rates quoted by the contractor.

Supply and fixing weather proof street light junction box of size 300 x 200 x 105mm including MCB SP 6 Amps and connecting terminals 4 way and fixing with street light poles using necessary MS clamps, nuts, bolts washers, lugs for incoming and out going cables, gland for cable etc of suitable size complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Hensel/Sintex/Universal Switch Gear control Note : The rates quoted are inclusive of provision and fixing of suitable lugs and glands for cable connection.

Material and labour for PVC flat twin core 2.5 sq mm aluminium wire 1100 volt grade laid in 20 mm dia medium grade rigid PVC conduit (and fixing brackets on PCC pole) from Loop-in-loop out junction box to light fitting terminal complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- PVC conduit shall be clamped properly with suitable clamps and no extra payment will be done on this account.

Taking out old u/s dimmer state unit for upto150 KVA voltage stabilizer after opening the cover of stabilizer with the help of hydra/manual and M&L for new dimmer state coil of suitable rating as reqd at site for proper functioning of voltage stabilizer suitable of upto150 KVA stabilizer after disconnecting electrical connections complete.

Supply and fixing fingers,gland,carbon brush for upto 150 KVA voltage stabilizer in replacement of u/s fingers all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing Ammeter in replacement of old u/s ammeter for upto 160 KVA voltage stabilizer all as specified and as directed.

Servicing of servo stabilizer upto 150 KVA decabonizing/cleaning complete consists of bus bar chamber, circuit cards and metering chambers, inspecting the joints,coils,cleaning of servo card and setting of servo card, circuit spouts for any flash overs/tracks, applying Becktol red solution to the bus bars and spouts having moderate tracking, tightening of joints, cleaning insulators and ensure proper decarbonisation and re-assembling complete all as directed.

M&L in replacement of micro processor base control card for each phase suitable for servo voltage stabilizer upto 150 KVA rating as per existing all as specified and as directed.

Repair/Maintenance of high mast light 15 Metre height, oiling of motor of wench, repairing/renewal of burnt out cables, CG box, luminaire and made it functional all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Components & parts to be replaced will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Worn out components will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of schedule.

Supply only spare parts/ luminairies for high mast light are as under :-

(a) Copper conductor cable 10 sqmm x 4 core, 650 V/1100 V, un-armoured all as specified and as directed.

(b) M&Lin replacement of control panel for High Mast Light comprising of Timer, contactor, starter, up & down push button in sheet steel enclosure of 3.0mm thick CRCA sheet and fixed on PCC plateform all as specified and as dirceted. Make : National/Universal/SMS Panels/EAP Panels

(c) M&L for rewinding of winch motor of high mast light with super enamelled copper conductor and insulating material all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix automatic timer switch with switches ON/OFF the street lights base on lux level of natural light current rating 40 Amps, 220 Volts, 50 Hz. The sensor based timer should also have over voltage and low voltage trip with auto reset facility the sensor alongwith suitable power contactor, MCB and support terminals should be enclosed in pole/wall mountable enclosure made of rust proof electric shock proof termite proof and FR grade special moulding compounds confirming to IP 54. The contactor MCB and circuit wiring shall have enough capacity to take load of 12 KW equally distributed over 3 phase complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fixing in replacement of security Light for use on top of the watch tower cabin with motorised system: 400 W HPSV high intensity, long range, weather & dust proof motor operated Security Search light with highly polished stainless steel reflector-cum-body, suitable heat sinks, toughened front glass, retaining ring, M.S. Cradle and passivated bolts. The search light would be supplied with 230 V ,400 Watt HPSV Lamps with control gear in cast alumiminum housing, The search light fitting would be suitable for installing on the roof of the watch tower cabin.
