Material and labour for dismantling centrifugal pump set from the existing foundation after disconnecting the inlet/out let pipe connections, disconnecting the electric supply cables and transporting to repair work shop complete, servicing the pump set including replacement of unserviceable spare parts reassembling and re-fixing to its original position, making mechanical & electrical connections and testing pumping set complete all as specified and directed for the following:- Note: - (i) Spares to be replaced shall be measured and paid separately as supply only in respective items of BOQ. (ii) Rewinding/ Lathing shall be measured and paid separately in respective items of BOQ. (iii) In addition to above the rate quoted by contractor deemed to be includes of transportation, lifting of pump set and replacement of worn out minor parts other than the supply only items such as bushes, check nut etc., if any required for proper functioning of pump set. Note- The Contactor will depute his rep/ sup to take complaint of pump /motor/ centrifugal pump/ submersible pump motor and other necessary complaint of pump house from office daily and rectify accordingly through skilled machinics and give details to concerned JE/MCM so the complaint from user end /pump house can be managed in time.

M&L Taking out defective submersible (vertical) pump set of capacity upto 7.5 HP from borewell/shallow well for repair by lifting borewell pipe of any type and size from 40 m to 70m depth well after disconnecting electrical and pipe line connection, complete by means of chain pully block or other T and P, transporting to store for safe custody or work shop for repair complet and reinstalling back to borewell, lowering after reconnecting electrical and pipe line connection, commissioning and testing on full load compete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Taking out submersible pump motor and lowering of submersible pump motors will be done by highly skilled machnics and the work will be done under contactor supervision. (ii) Repairing of pump set only will be measured and paid separately in respective items of BOQ.

Material and labour for repair of 50 mm bore GI pipe taken out vide item No 10 above by cutting down and removing rusted /damaged threaded portion of pipe(one length pipe) from both ends and making the long deep threads on both ends of the pipe and supply and fix a long ended socket heavy grade screwed and welded at one end complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairing of submersible (vertical) pump set upto 7.5 HP vide item no 10 above capacity by opening the pumpset and replacement of unserviceable parts, oiling/greasing the lubricating the parts and reassembling, painting of submersible pumpset with one coat of synthetic enamel paint after clearing and scrubbing complete including testing for satisfactory operation all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The rewinding, Lathe work, replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts will be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ as supply only and labour element for fixing including greasing, overhauling and packing of pump set will be included in the unit rate quoted. (ii) Cost of other minor items / spares such as nut, bolts, washer, gaskets, paints which are not covered under Sch 'A' but required for effective functioning of the plant shall be deemed to included in quoted rate.

Labour only for maintenance and cleaning of surrounding area of water filteration plant, borewell, malanjhari pump house, by cutting/taking out grasses, Shrubs & bushes, small tree and branches by employing labour / majdoor including using own T&P as required to do the Job and thrown all waste material outside the pump house/ filteration pump house all as specified and as directed by Engr-in -charge.

Supply only Chloroscope/ chlorine test kit with coloured ample complete with all testing fitment and OT solution in rexene finish box for measurement of chlorine level in water showing indication 0.1,0.2,0.5,1.0,1.5,2.0 & above including box type indicator showing indication along with two numbers test tube and reagent complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour for cleaning of underground static water tank (SWT) of capacity 20,000 -25,000 gallon after scrapping out the scales/deposits from all inner surfaces of tank thoroughly, washing with bleaching powder solution (mixed @ 0.5 Kg of bleaching powder of chlorine content 30% per 1000 liters of water), bailing out the settled materials completely away from the site within 100 metres distance, cleaning the tank with clean water and finally sterilizing the tank as mentioned in notes below and writing “TANK CLEANED ON…..”(date), “DUE DATE ON…..(date) with 10 cm size white letters on black back ground by engaging skilled artist using best quality synthetic enamel paint all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge :- Notes : The contractor should follow the following procedure in addition to above which demeed to be included in the contractor quoted rate. (a) Mechanized removal of all dirty water by using high capacity submersible pumps. (b) Removal of sludge by using vaccum operated pump (c) Cleaning of walls, ceiling and ground by high pressure rotary jet of 12 Kg/sqcm pressure. (d) Removal of all dirt particles by industrial wet vaccum cleaner leaving the tank physically cleaned as per Engr-in- Charge satisfaction. (e) Sterilization of tank by agents eco-friendly, bio-degradable and highly effective against all pathogens, or approved chemical. (f) Sterilization of tank atmosphere by industrial UV radiator leaving the tank complete sterilized (g) All the required Tools and plants, lubricants/oils and materials will be supplied by the contractor during the work.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation of poles stays laying of electric cables, pipes etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at level not exc. 1.5 m above starting point.

M&L for flushing of bore well with compressed air (i.e, Truck with compressor) and by pumping muddy water and making bore well clear by contineously flushing borewell for not less than 6 hour incl all necessary tools and plants etc to be arranged by the contractor ( Note- Before flushing taking out the submersible pump motor and after flushing and then lowering back it to the borewell all cost are deemed to be included in the quoated rate.) complete all as specified and satiesfaction of Engineer in charge at site .

Note:- The amount against the Schedule of Credit mentioned in the tender document shall be deducted from the total amount quoted against Sch 'A' while deriving the Contract Sum for Acceptance.
