HAKIMPET AREA S & F, Installation,testing and commissioning of retrofitting of emission control device which must be fitted to the exhaust manifold siliencer of DG, the device having minimum specified particulate matter capturing efficiency of atleast 70% in 5 mode D2 cycle and also it must result in increase fuel efficiency, also reduce the exhaust emissions and particulate matter harmful incomponents of exhaust like carbondioxide (CO), Hydrocarbons etc all as specified and directed. Note : The emission control device equipment must be tested over a ISO-8178, 5 modeD2 cycle for equivalent KVA rating by one of the central pollution control board alos under provision of Environmental(protection) Act, 1986 and Air (Prevention and control of pollution) Act 1981. Emission limit level should be as follows:- Oxide of Nitrogen + Hydrocarbon < 4.0 Carbon Monoxide < 3.5 Smoke Limit (light absorption Coefficient) < 0.70 Particulate Matter < 0.2

BEGUMPET AREA Supply, Install, Test and Commissioning of Retrofitted Emission Control Equipment / Devices (RECD of make: Platino Automotive/ARAI/PI Green or any other make as per approval of list of E-in-C's branch ) suitable for in-use DG sets as under:-

Notes:- (i) Minimum 70% reduction of Particulate Matter shall be achieved (ii)Durability Period (Expected Life) of RECD fitted on the DG sets upto 75KVA capacity shall be 4000 hours or 6 years whichever is earlier and for above 75KVA capacity 6000 hours or 6 years whichever is earlier. (iii)RECD shall use various technologies such as Wet Scrubber, Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) and Catalytic Conversion. The output result of the RECD should be as per CPCB II norms, irrespective of the manufacturers' technologies. Contractor shall carryout pre installation testing as well as post installation testing using suitable test rig at his own cost. (iv)RECD shall have no effect on exhaust back pressure. It shall be equipped with an auto bypass system for back pressure to ensure ZERO DOWNTIME of the Diesel Genset. (v)RECD shall be provided with panel to monitor the temperature and pressure levels of the device along with "visible alarm system".

(vi)RECD must be type tested by one of the following five currently CPCB recognised/ approved labs and contractor shall submit valid Type Approval Certificate before procurement: - (a) Automotive Research Association of India, Pune (Maharashtra). (b) International Centre for Automotive Technology, Manesar (Haryana). (c) Indian Oil Corporation, Research and Development Centre, Faridabad (Haryana). (d) Indian Institute of Petroleurre \ Dehradun (Uttarakhand). (e) Vehicle Research Development Establishment, Ahmednagar (Maharashtra). (vii) Any civil or metal or welding work required on site to make space for the device fitment and installation shall be the contractor responsibility.
