Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, laying of underground cable, etc. n exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto all as per serial item No. 1.00 described here-in-before but depth exc 1.5 m and n exc 3.00 m

M&L for dry sand cushioning to under ground cable 8 cm thick before laying and 15 cm thick after laying and stretching the cables complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 1. Dry fine sand of best available quality shall be used. 2. Punned thickness upto 18cm shall only be measured and paid.

M&L for providing of new sub class 'B' bricks, old size, well burnt laid flat dry for protection of under ground cable complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated soil in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavted soil to a distance not exc. 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing of LT underground cable, heavy duty, 1100 Volts, XLPE insulated and sheathed, armoured with multi-stranded aluminium conductor cable, laid in trenches/ ducts or fixed to poles/ walls or laid under roads/ paths/ drains/ culverts duly encased in galvanised steel pipe of suitable sizes complete all as specified and directed of following sizes:-

Supply and fixing in replacement galvanised iron pipes 80 mm bore medium grade with all fittings for cable protection, laid under road/ under culvert/ drain complete with clamps made out of 50 x 6 mm thick MS flat, nuts, bolts of appropriate size including closing of ends with soft wooden wedge duly preformed with bitumenous material complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement galvanised iron pipes 50 mm bore medium grade with all fittings for cable protection, laid under road/ under culvert/ drain complete with clamps made out of 50 x 6 mm thick MS flat, nuts, bolts of appropriate size including closing of ends with soft wooden wedge duly preformed with bitumenous material complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.5 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr connected to and incl galvanized earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia up to 7.5 mtr long by means of nuts, bolts, thimbles, check nuts and washers etc made of galvanized iron connected to earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion incl earth work and excavation in any type of soil PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 40mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 with 8 mm dia MS bars reinforced at 10 cm centre to centre both ways incl funnel with watering pipe wire mesh and lugs, incl test point including dismantling old earthing set complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for Cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation and mass concrete for fixing poles etc including excavation of any strata & relaxing taken out cable and demolition of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping / plinth blocks for poles and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, as directed including necessary Steel form work and finishing the surfaces fair in forms and demolition of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of existing old surface of steel tubular poles of 09 Mtr / 11 Mtr long (LT/HT) and one coat of aluminium paint on the surfaces of steel tubular pole and painting black and white strips 04 Nos (each strip of 30 cm height) with synthetic enamel paint of black and white colour round the steel tubular pole alternatively from the bottom of the pole also incl numbering of pole complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of PCC/ Steel tubular pole 9 Mtr long complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing or Shifting only steel tubular pole any type (9 Mtr long). Note: Excavation, earthwork and PCC shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items.

Supply & fixing cradles, hexagonal/ rectangular, fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15 or 4mm dia for protection of overhead lines crossing the roads/ parks/ paths etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and erecting in vertical position steel tubular swaged pole type 410 SP-31 (9 metre long) with 300mmx300mmx6mm mild steel base plate continuously welded to pole, finial taper, nut, bolts and screws all as specified including factory painted with two coats of black bituminous paint internally through out and externally for embedded portion and applying one coat of red oxide primer for the remaining portion and two coats of aluminium paint beyond 1.5M from ground level/ coping and making 30cm black and white strips with two coats of super enameled paint up to 1.5M from ground level/ coping complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cross arms bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of suitable primer after preparation of surface, including dismantling of old/ unserviceable cross arms complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying or fixing or passing through pipe, 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable with PVC insulated aluminium stranded conductor served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall PVC sheathed 6 sqmm nominal cross section 2 core in service connections including taking down old unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto all as per serial item No. 29.00 described here-in-before but 10sqmm 2core cable

Supply and fix in replacement busbar chamber wall mounted 6 way 250 Amps cubical type complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement busbar chamber wall mounted 6 way 250 Amps to 400 Amps cubical type complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting and trimming of tree branches to clear the over head lines in the arc of HT/ LT over head lines feeders (including repairing and jointing of ACSR conductor if damaged during cutting of trees) and removal of the trimmed branches of trees and depositing the same as directed complete all as specified and directed. Note : All tools and plants required for the exection of work shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost for the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate.
