Taking out existing kerb stones of all types from footpath/ central verge, including removal of mortar etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and Laying of kerb of size 1’-0” x 1’-0” having 4” thickness at or near ground level in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints, except at sharp curve, shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and fixing PCC kerbs of size 1'-0" x1'-0" x 6'' thickness at bottom and 5” thickness at top duly vibrated, mechanically & compacted made of plain cement concrete 1:2:4 duly cured and finished. The rate further includes filling of joints between kerbs with cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement: 4 coarse sand) after earth work in excavation/filling and removing the same from site of work complete in all respects and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.. Providing and fixing PCC Channel of size 2'-0" x 1'-0" x 3" thick duly mixed, mechanically & compacted made of PCC 1:2:4 duly cured and finished. The rates also includes fixing in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints, except at sharp curve, shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Length of finished Channel edging shall be measured for payment.

Laying at or near ground level old channel of all types in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints, except at sharp curve, shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:1½:3 (1 cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-iii) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) (DSR 4.1.2)
