Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 1 x 1 x 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to a GI strip 25 x 4 mm by means of bolts, nuts ,check nuts and washers connected to test point or as directed including filling of 100 Kgs charcoal and 100 Kgs salt in alternate layers of 150 mm each making PCC Chamber by PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 and cover of 50 mm thick duly reinforced by 6 mm bar in PCC of 1:3:6 and providing 20 mm dia light grade with funnel and wire mesh necessary 40 mm bore GI tube light grade for protection of GI earth strip 32 x 6 mm up to test point etc complete all as shown in electrical plate No 5 of MES SSR Part-I all as specified and directed . Note : GI Strip and protection pipe upto 7.5 mtr deemed included in the rate quoted.

Supply and fix single pointed air termination aluminium rod 12mm dia 300mm long all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix aluminium strip 25mmx3.15mm with PVC saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors complete with saddle and fixing screws and down conductors above ground all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw all as specified.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6.3 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connecting to the Galvanised earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts , check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and steel earth wire protected by provision of GI light grade pipe 40 mm bore including provision of concrete pit made from PCC ( 1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) with 40mm thick cover of RCC 1:2:4 reinforced with XPM (Weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 40 x 40 x 6 mm and handle of 6 mm dia MS bar made to shape, GI light grade 20 mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom, 1.50 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt & charcoal filling, with fixing arrangement , funnel, wire mesh and earth work in hard/dense soil , returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metres, all as per electrical plate No 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connecting to Poles all as specified or indicated including testing on complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches in hard / dense soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and getting out including trimming of sides, for laying of cables & foundation of poles, stay assembly, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out old unserviceable/serviceable un-reinforced concrete PCC cable covers from excavated trench all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Serviceable un-reinforced concrete PCC cable cover kept in safe custody for reuse at site and unserviceable un-reinforced concrete PCC cable cover through in low lying area.

Laying only old reinforced PCC cable cover of any size as retrieved from serial item No- 09 here-in-before, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for factory made un-reinforced pre cast concrete cable protection cover LV class type - I with size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm laid across the cable (i.e. width of cover along the length of cable) for UG cable protection on the top of the sand cushioning, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for sand cushioning with layer of sand 8cm thick before laying of cable and 10cm after laying of cable in trenches complete all as directed and sand cover to UG cable, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out old LT under ground cable from trenches / floor / road / wall / pipe / pole of any size and description incl joint, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of LT UG cable XLPE insulated PVC sheathed galvanized steel strip armoured electric power cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade 10 sq mm 2 core confirming to IS:7098 (Part-I), suitable for earthed system, laid in duct/trench/along pole/wall etc including nuts, bolts, washers, saddles & screws etc and making connection, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Havells/Polycab/Plaza/Paramount or equivalent Note : 1. The cost of Al thimbles/lugs and cable gland etc is included in quoted rate and no extra payment will be made for it. 2. Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and brick protection will be measured and paid separately under respective items.
