BOQ (REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF FENCING AND CONNECTED WORKS AT TECHNICAL AREA AT AF STATION SURATGARH)

Dismantling/pulling out of old damaged RCC pre-cast fencing post/struts of any section embedded in concrete foundation including making required size pit either by excavation/excavation of new pits to change the alignment if required/trimming of sides of under size pit or by returning filling in and ramming broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers not exc 25 cm each & watering an over size pit and removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 metre and making good disturbed ground surfaces , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (For fixing new posts). Note :- Retrieved earth & broken rubble shall be reused in returning and filling.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc. 0.5 Cum and getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exc. 25 cm, watering and removing surplus spoil to a distance not exc. 50 m and making good surface in soft / loose soil , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete (1:2:4), type B-2 using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in foundations, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Mild Steel angle iron for post and flat iron, or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion drilled including embedded in concrete and screwing etc., posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc flat iron fillets (for scuring wire mesh etc). including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc. and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Mild steel bolt factory made with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screw the other to be fitted with washer etc and one hexagonal or square exc 5 cm but not exc 10 cm long end dia neck 12 mm including taking out old unserviceable bolts with nuts and washers , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description , not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetick enamells paint over one coat of red oxide primer,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Dismantling of galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire from RCC/mild steel post complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Galvanized 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings, and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire staples, or steel pins etc complete all as specified (each line of wire to be measured), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Fixing only chain link galvanised wire fencing mesh any size, fixed to flat iron rails with RCC/Angle iron post, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply only chain link MS galvanised fencing any size or type complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Round mild steel bar 10 to 12mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, making hooks at ends, woven in chain link and fixed with nut and bolts, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description , not otherwise described not exceeding 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetick enamells paint over one coat of red oxide primer,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Barbed razor type concertina coil of 1050 mm dia (when unstretched) fixed between the existing ‘V’ angle post and barbed wire over security wall /PCC /ground as per requirment with coil of coverage 7.5 running metre per coil, weight of each coil 14.00 to 14.50 Kg hot dip galvanized and binding with and including MS annealed wire of 0.90 mm including taking down old unserviceable existing concertina coil , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Restraining and resecuring including making good staples of old serviceable barbed wire, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Contract Amount shall be derived after affecting the amount of Schedule of Credit in General Summary on serial page No 15 of tender documents.
