REPAIR MAINT OF SUNKEN PORTION AT MD OTM ACCN OF AGE BR II UNDER GE (NW) NOFRA

Note : The tenderer shall note that before quoting his unit rate, all items of works shall be executed in high rise building ( upto 15th floor building) & provision of necessary scaffolding & safety measures should be included.

Demolition of cement concrete filling of any description in sunken portion and removing debris out side MD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning of sunken/lowered portion of RCC slab surface (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely and 40mm thick avg PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate as in padding concrete to achieve proper slope including cutting holes in bricks or RCC wall for spout (Cost of cutting holes and pipes shall be measured and paid separately)

M&L for Rendering of uneven surfaces with 10mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 3% by wt of cement consumed. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage. Where dampness/seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out.(WPC shall be measured & paid separately) Note- 1. All junctions points of side wall where CI/GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty.2. After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean.

M&L for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacturs instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level+300mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed.

M&L for Plastering the bottom and sides up to 300mm height from bottom of the floor level with 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound 3% by wt of cement consumed as per manufacturer's specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout.(WPC shall be measured & paid separately)

M&L for covering All pipes laid in sunken portion with 50mm thick PCC 1:3:6 all round after painting with anticorrosive paint. Note :- Test the water proofed area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage seepage and to the entire satisfaction of GE. Cost of testing is included in the rates quoted above.

M&L for Cutting holes n exc 150 Sqcm into or through brick walls built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar and stone walls and making good in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-l as required after inserting and setting spouts all as specified.

S&F GI pipe 50mm dia medium grade laid on sunken floor complete all as specified and direced by EIC.

M&L for Injection grouting in RCC slab shall be cast/laid to the slope as directed/as per site conditions. After RCC slab is laid, cured and fully set, water shall be ponded in the sunken slab portion as per specified ponding test. The location of seepage/leakage, if any, shall be identified and marked. The portion of the slab where leakage/seepage is observed shall be repaired with grouting at contractor's expences. The area of dripping/leakage shall be cleaned to expose the surface. Mark the spots for injection grouting. If leakage is through a crack, mark grouting points along the crack in a staggered manner. If the leakage is across the area mark grouting spots in a grid pattern. Drill grouting holes so as to neatly fit the injection packers. Drilling to be done at an angle of 45 to the plane of grouting surface. Fix PVC/MS nozzles in the low viscosity, injecting polyurethane resin/epoxy grout using a grouting pump. Repeat the process after 1 or 2 days if the leakage continues at some point. allow to cure for 24 hours and seal the grouting holes appropriately using epoxy putty etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Integral water proofing compound.

M&L PCC 1:4:8 Type D2 using 40mm graded coarse aggregate as in lean concrete/filling concrete.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and disposing the rubbish to the out side of MD land.

M&L for coloured non-skid ceramic tiles 7-8mm thick rectified glossy (square/rectangular) area of each tiles exceeding 0.06 Sqm but not exceeding 0.11Sqm in floors etc , set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over/ incl 15mm thick screed bed (1:6), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Glazed ceramic tiles coloured of size 450X 300X 7mm laid on vertical surface such as dado/skirting over cement mortar backing coat, set jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement including 15mm thick backing coat in CM 1:4, complete all as specified.

Taking down Cast iron pipe of dia upto 100mm fixed on wall or in floor including all fittings upto 15th floor of bldg. complete all as specified.

S&F 100 mm dia sand cast CI soil waste & vent pipe in any length with ears and jointed with neat cement paste fixed to wall upto 15th floor of bldg., complete all as specified.

Taking down Cast iron pipe of dia 100mm fixed on walls and re-fixed on wall including all fittings after cleaning properly and paint with bitumenious paint upto 15th floor of building complete all as specified.

Taking down Cast iron pipe of dia 75mm fixed on walls and re-fixed on wall including all fittings upto 15th floor of building complete all as specified.

M&L for Rendering 15mm thick cement plaster in cement mortor 1:6 on brick or concrete surfaces in patches, surfaces to be finished even and smooth without using extra cement,upto 15th floor of bldg, complete all as specified.

M&L for plastering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 in ceiling finishing even and smooth without using extra cement, upto 15th floor of bldg, complete all as specified.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described, and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified.

Supply and fix in repair brass float valve flat type of size 15 mm bore, high pressure with polythene float & fly nut complete, screwed for GI pipe of following sizes including necessary GI fittings complete all as specified.

M&L for post construction anti termit treatment at points of contact of wood work by chemical emulsion (in oil or kerosene based solution) @ 0.5 litre/hole by drilling 6mm dia holes at a downward angle of 45 degree at 150mm centre to centre and sealing the same complete all as specified and directed.
