SCHEDULE 'A' FENCING WORKS

Excavation in post holes in soft/loose soil n. exc 0.50 cum each, getting out, returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers n. exc 25 cm including removing of surplus spoil to a distance n. exc 50 mtr and making good the disturbed surfaces all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (200 for fencing work & 10 for guard room)

Supply and fixing mild steel work as in posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc.; Joist, channel, angle, or tee sections, fixed independently, without connecting plates, etc. (cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20mm of the length indicated), flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or rivetting etc. and similar works conforming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Flat iron for securing wire mesh is to measured in this item. (ii) Machine made screw nut bolt shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item of this Schedule as supply only but labour for fixing shall be included in this item.

Supply only galvanised mild steel chain link fencing of any dia galvanised mild steel wire and any mesh (spacing) size as per site requirement as direccted by Engineer-in-charge, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- The weight of chain link fencing shall be measured as per findings of BOO to be ordered and concured by Accepting Officer.

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Supply only line wire mesh and nut bolts shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this schedule

Supply and fixing 10mm dia round bar as in line wire for chain link fencing cut to length, bent to shape required including bending, cranking etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing galvanised, 2 strand steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing and tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire, staple or steel pins, etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(Each line of wire shall be measured and paid separately ).

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete, coping, bed block, for embedded fencing posts, fixing hold fast & similar work etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge. (550 Sqm for fencing work and 128 Sqm for B/R work)

Material and labour for preparation of old painted steel and iron surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm in width or girth and applying one coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

SCHEDULE 'A' B/R Works

Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep and getting out in any type of soil including clearing away all grass, vegitation, saplings, bushes, wood under growth and removing it to a distance not exceeding 50 metre, complete, all as specified.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50 metre wide and not exceeding 1.50 metre in depth; for foundation, or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc, etc. and getting out complete, all as specified.

Returning and filling including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & labour for broken brick hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete, all as specified.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling, bed block, for embedded fencing posts, hold fast blocks & similar work etc including form work complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for PCC ( 1:4:8), type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & labour for 40mm thick damp proof course to horizontal or vertical surfaces including necessary formwork in cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0, using water proofing compound, complete all as specified. NOTE: Water proofing compound will be measured and paid for separately under respective item of BOQ.

Material & labour for reinforced cement concrete, type B-1,(1:2:4), using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as beams, cantilevers, bressumers, lintels over 1.5 metre clear span and the like complete all as specified.

Material & labour for reinforced cement concrete, type B-1,(1:2:4), using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing anodised aluminium snap grid frame work of size of grid 605 x605mm for false ceiling including necessary notching and prepared holes, the snap grid shall consist of anodised aluminium main tee of size 36.5mm x 25mm x 1.4mm weighing 0.24 Kg/RM, cross and Intermediate tee of size 23.5mm x 26.4mm x 1.4mm weighing 0.191 Kg/RM. Supply and fixing solid PVC door frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out 5mm thick plain clour PVC sheet reinforced with MS square tube including painting of edges to match with sheet, all as specified & shown in relevant drawing of item No. 8095 in MES Schedule SSR-2010 (Part-II), fixed in opening complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing factory made 125 x 60mm pressed steel frames, thickness of sheet 1.25mm for doors with one or more rebates including supply and fixing necessary lugs and lock strike plate, etc., including fixing butt hinges suitable Nos as directed for each leaf, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) Butt hinges shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ as supply only.

Supply and fixing factory made solid core PVC door shutter 30mm thick (stiles) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes of 19mm gauge thickness and size of 19mmx19mm for stiles and for top and bottom rails 15mmx15mm. MS frame shall have a coat of red oxide primer of approved make and shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC sheet, 'C' channel of size 30x50mm forming stiles and 5mm thick wide PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles, and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side and 10mm (5x2mm) thick, 20mm thick PVC sheet to be fitted in MS frame welded/ sealed to the stiles and rails with 30mm wide x 5mm thick PVC sheet beading on either side and joined together with solvent cement adhesive and an additional 5mm thick PVC strips of 20mm width is to be stuck on interior side of C channel using PVC solvent adhesive as per manufacturer's instructions, door to be fixed to frame with and including 3 Nos MS powder coated butt hinges of size 100mm long x 25mm wide and 2mm thick and fixing with 32mm long steel screws drilled suitable to pass through both the walls of the MS tube complete all as specified in SSR-2009 (Part-I, specifications) & shown in relevant drawing of item No. 8080 in SSR-2010 (Part-II, rates). The width of stiles & rails will be in proportion to the width of the door shutter as specified in SSR-2010 (Part-II). complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing factory made plain framed panelled shutters (two panels as approved), 35mm thick of 2nd class hard wood with lock rail and panel inserts of 12mm veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces. The size of rails and styles as per IS-1003 (Part-I), kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 and chemically pressure treated as per IS-401, including 2nd class soft wood kail beading 20mm wide tapering from 10mm to 5mm on one side and also fitted to chowkhat complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) The sutters shall be brought at site without primer and same shall be applying at site as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing factory made glazed and skeleton shutter, 35mm thick of 2nd class hard wood open rebated (two panels as approved) and prepared to receive glass, gauge etc, without sash bars, edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass, etc. Sizes of members as specified in SSR Part-I, Section 8 and fitted to chowkhats, menbers shall be kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 and chemically pressure treated as per IS-401 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) The sutters shall be brought at site without primer and same shall be applying at site as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing anodised aluminium handle cast type 150mm long complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing, factory made steel window confirming to IS 1038 with side hung shutters including projecting type hinges, with steel handle, steel peg stay, complete, dovetailed welded, with glazing bars including fixing of lugs in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified & as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing, factory made steel window confirming to IS 1038 with side hung shutters including projecting type hinges, with steel handle, steel peg stay, complete, dovetailed welded, without glazing bars (mosquito proof shutter) including fixing of lugs in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified & as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing 3mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality in squares not exceeding 0.5sqm in each pane complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing galvanized mild steel wire cloth 0.56mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.18mm fixed with tinned tack or galvanised wire staples complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material and labour for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length bent to shape, required including cranking, bending spirally for hoping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (NOTE : Weight of binding wire shall not be considered for measurement and payment purpose.)

Material and labour for mild steel TMT bars 6 mm to 8mm dia cut to length bent to shape, required including cranking, bending spirally for hoping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (NOTE : Weight of binding wire shall not be considered for measurement and payment purpose.)

Material and labour for Non Skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick square or rectangular area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, as in floor set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer (screed) in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for 75mm thick, cement concrete type D-2, 1:4:8 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, finished even & rough, as in sub floors, complete all as specified.

Material and labour for 75 mm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in flooring, hard standing, plinth protection/path etc. finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for plastering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing (concealed in wall or as directed) factory made DB (made out of CRCA sheet) SPN, 04 Way 230/240V, double door, earth bar, 200 Amp rated copper bus bar and neutral link, protection class IP-43 suitable for mounting MCB/Isolator, conforming to IS-8623, BS-5484 dust and vermin proof and including making good disturbed surfaces of walls as necessaty complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- MCB’s shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Supply and fixing MCB ‘C’ curve suitable for 240 volts AC supply, 06 to 32 Amps, SP with over load and short circuit protection and rupturing capacity not less than 10 KA, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing isolator DP 63 Amps 240 Volts complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and hanging/fixing ceiling fan 1200 mm sweep in white/off white colour, 50watt, copper winding, 3 Blade, single phase, 230 volts 50 Hz double ball bearing, energy saver/energy-efficient, alongwith hanging rod (length as per site requirement or as directed by Engineer-in-charge), canopy (lower and upper), rubber real, nut bolts, lock pin etc. including making electrical connection with flexible round twin core multi strand copper cable suitable size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make and cat part :- Entrust 50 of Crompton / Energia of USHA / ES 50 of Havelles / Electra 50 of Bajaj Note :- (i) Srl Number of ceiling fan and 'GE North BTD' shall also be writing on fan with red colour permanent marker, cost for the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate, nothing shall be paid extra on this account, Srl number will be issued by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Ceiling fan installed/hanging at site as directed by Engineer-in-charge (from market to AGE E/M store/AGE E/M store to sites /Location, all conditions will be the responsibility of contractor and nothing extra will be admissible on this account

Supply and laying XLPE LT Cable of size 16 Sqmm, 2 core, 1100 Volt grade heavy duty with XLPE insulated, stranded aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathening of PVC tape armoured with Galvanized steel strip or wire and over all PVC Sheathed stranded conductor conforming to IS- 7098 (Part-I) with latest amendments laid in trenches/fixed to wall/pole/laid in floor including necessary connections and suitable size of thimbling complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, brick protection, cutting of road and pipe shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of this Schedule.)

Supply and filling Local sand cushioning , with dry and clean sand, over and under the under ground cables in trenches, ducts for cable protection including consolidation, 80mm thick to the authorized width as per SSR–Part-I before laying of cable and 150mm thick after laying of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- For measurement purpose puned thickness shall be measured and paid i.e 18cm.)

Supply and laying Best quality, locally available, sub class ‘B’ bricks (Old Size) for cable protection cover, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable , perpendicular to the direction of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing/laying GI tubing, light grade, 40mm bore for protection of cable or earthing lead wire under hardstanding/fixed along poles/wall, laid in in trenches etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 60cmx 60cmx6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including earth continuity GI wire 4 mm (upto test point from earth plate i.e. 7.5m min) by means of GI bolts / nuts / washers and including protected by 15mm dia GI light grade protection pipe from earth plate to test point, including making of test point made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos- 8mm dia 25mm long hex head screw. Earth plate shall be surrounded by packed layer of char coal/coke & salt all around bottom and top with alternative layer. 20mm GI light grade pipe for watering (should be 10cm above GL) and including socket, plug, funnel, wire mesh, CI cover 10mm thick hanged to CFI frame, PCC chamber pit made with PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), including necessary form work, excavation and earth work in any type of soil , returning filling and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m, complete all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 (Part-I) complete all as specified and and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) The earth testing arrangement should be done by the contractor as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
