SPECIAL REPAIR OF PTT PUMP HOUSE PUMPS MOTOR WATER PIPELINE STARTER PANEL AND CONNECTED WORKS AT AF STN CARNICOBAR AND PROVISIONING OF SEPARATE POWER SOURCE FOR FIRE RESPONSE SYSTEM AND HANGAR DOORS AT 122HF AT AF STN CARNCOBAR.

Amount

Taking up cast iron/MS/DI/GI water mains (including all fittings), of dia upto 200mm with spigot and socket ends complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out meter/ CI foot valve/NRV/Sluice valve of size 150mm to 450mm dia with joints complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing galvanised steel water tubing medium grade 25 mm bore including all necessary fittings such as bends, L bows, short piece connections, backnuts, caps plugs, unions couplings, flanges, sockets etc, fixed to wall/floor/ceiling including necessary cutting/chauging in walls made of brick/concrete surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour for cutting existing CI/DI/GI pipe tubing for alteration or additions of 150mm to 450mm bore pipes and inserting new connection with necessary Tee of 450mm or reducer to connect to new pipe line and cutting, jointing and testing complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) DI/GI specials such as Tee / reducer shall be measured and paid separately

Supply and replace MS/DI/GI specials from 150mm to 450mm bore such as bends(any type, radius and angle)tapers any type, Tee equal/unequal with flanged and socket or in any combination in any length as per site requirement, tail piece straight,bend,increasing,decreasing or double socket etc.) tee pieces single branch. "Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or sockets and spigot) collars, caps and plugs including ring washer gaskets all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing MS nuts, bolts , washer & MS flat, machine cut, hexagonal 5cm to 10cm long, dia meter of neck 16 to 24mm or existing size as per site requirement and complete.

Supply, fixing and testing of connect, joint and lay MS ERW flanged pipe heavy duty IS1 marked with all fittings of size 200 mm dia & 8mm thick with flanged ends and including flanges, leather gaskets, laid in floors, fixed on walls/floors/roof ete including fixing with clamps on wall for the wet riser including painting with approved synthetic enamel paint all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply, fixing and testing of connect, joint and lay MS ERW flanged pipe heavy duty IS1 marked with all fittings of size 250 mm dia & 8mm thick with flanged ends and including flanges, leather gaskets, laid in floors, fixed on walls/floors/roof ete including fixing with clamps on wall for the wet riser including painting with approved synthetic enamel paint all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply install testing and commissioning of centrifugal pump set, 3 phase, 415V, electrically driven of capacity 30HP inclusive of PCC foundations including taking out old unsv pumpset from their position and depositing to MES store yard, complete all as specified and as directed Make of motor – Kirloskar/CG/Havells. make of Pump – Kirloskar/CG/KSB/CRI, Model – MF series in Kirloskar or equivalent as per PS Note: (i) Desired discharge = 750LPM or more at end point located 1.5km from pump house. (ii) RPM range 1450 to 1500 or as per OEM recommendation. (iii) Total head range = min 1mtr & max 30mtr. Range of head may vary as per OEM design after consultation with GE (I) 866 EWS. (iv) Higher specification from the above desired parameters will be considered for payment if required specifications not available. (v) Motor will be coupled with CI coupling with star or round rubber coupler to hold mechanical strength as per OEM design. (vi) Motor shall be of 3 phase induction, 415V, 50Hz, RPM - 1480 or as per OEM design, copper wound, IP 55 protection, capacity 45KW or more.

Note item no 9 Contd…/- (vii) Type of water to be pumped is Multi Flow (muddy & stagnant drain water). Hence, design of pump shall be finalised as per OEM recommendtaion only. (viii) Pump shall be housed with CI volute housing to withstand pressure upto 10Kg pressure. Motor and pump set shall be mounted in MS 'C' channel duly aligned in factory. (ix) Gland packing & grease box shall be fitted in such a manner that should be repaired / replaced externally during maintenance. (x) Self priming provision shall be given in pump so that air lock can be avoided during operation. (xi) Diameter of suction and discharge of pump shall be 250 x 250mm or as per OEM recommendation fulfilling the desired discharge of water at end point mentioned in Note (i) above. (xii) Manufacturer Test Certificate shall be submitted by the contractor before processing RAR. (xiii) Pump casing shall be of horizontal/vertical and suction high efficiency volute type with top/side/45 degrees orientation

Note item no 9 Contd…/- (xiv) Impeller shall be of Non clog – semi open / enclosed type and balanced dynamically. Hydraulically balanced by balancing holes / back valves. (xv) Shaft shall be fo high tensile steel, accurately grounded, supported by deep groove ball bearings and thrust bearing housed in the bearing housing. (xvi) Stuffing box shall be of gland packed & supply is standard for liquids having temperature upto 90 Deg C. Mechanical seal also can be fixed if required. (xvii) Bearing shall be of deep groove ball nearing and thrust bearing. Standard lubrication is Oil or grease as per OEM recommendations (xviii) Direction of rotation is clockwise from the driving end. Drive shall be coupled with 3 phase motor of same RPM (xix) Flanges shall be drilled as per BSEN 1092, PN 16 or as per OEM recommended. (xx) Application of pump set is to pump out drainage water, storm water, settling tank water, sewage handling and flood control etc.

Supply laying and testing PVC insulated, PVC sheathed cable galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric control cables (heavy duty) with stranded copper conductor of size 16 sqmm, 3 core, 1100 Volt grade all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 100mm thick plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base of floors including necessary form work all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 25mm thick plain cement concrete over sub-base, 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in as in leveling course including use of form work as necessary, screed strips and to divide the area in panels etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply fixing and testing CI sluice valve cast iron body (Long body) of size 200 mm dia PN 1.6 conforming to IS-14846 flanged end, spur gear and hand operation, ISI marked having brass spindle with iron wheel at top, with nuts bolts and washers rubber gasket etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply , installation & testing of CI Non return valve (NRV) suitable for 200mm dia ,Conforming to IS 5312 Part I - 1984, class PN-1.6 with flanged, Dual plated, joint complete with nuts, bolts & washers complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cast iron Non Return Butterfly type foot valve of 250mm dia, flanged, bonnet wedge stuffing box, gland trust plate, hand weel CI with brass spindle, washer & nut bolt including jointing, Class PN 1.6, complete all as specified and directed at site by the Engineer-in-incharge.

M&L for Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks using type C1(1:3:6) (20mm graded aggregate) ,size exc 10cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for Plain Cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base/foundations filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fixing Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60cm×60cm× 3.15mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to 20×3mm copper strip as earthing lead, by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of brass or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion all as specified & directed . Notes:Quoted rates shall be deemed to be included the following (a) Excavation ,RFR earth work in any type of soil. Supply, laying or passing through pipe LT, XLPE insulated, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable conforming to IS:7098 (Pt-I)-1988, heavy duty with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 Volts grade of size 120 Sqmm 3.5 core with necessary fixing arrangements such as lugs, glands and terminal etc including connecting/testing after taking out unserviceable LT UG cable from trenches/ pole complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Excavation, earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Taking down cement plastering on concrete or Brick works surface racking out joints, hacking for key , scrubbing down with water, removing rubbish/debris etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 10 mm thick rendering on brick/concrete surfaces in CM 1:4, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying or passing through pipe LT, XLPE insulated, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable conforming to IS:7098 (Pt-I)-1988, heavy duty with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 Volts grade of size 70 Sqmm 3.5 core with necessary fixing arrangements such as lugs, glands and terminal etc including connecting/testing complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Excavation, earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply & fixing Rigid non-metallic PVC conduit 25 mm dia exclusive of boxes (junction/ terminal) but inclusive of all tees, bends, elbows, reducers, bell mouth tube ends and fixing accessories such as couplers, lock nuts, saddles, pipe hooks etc.

M&L for submain wiring comprising single core , 2 Runs of 1.5 sqmm nominal cross sectional area,FRLS-H multistranded copper conductor cable, PVC insulated unsheathed 1100 Volts grade drawing in PVC casing capping/ conduit and its fittings complete on surface/concealed along with 1 run of 1.5 sqmm nominal cross sectional area multistranded copper conductor cable, PVC insulated unsheathed 1100 Volts grade as earth continuity conductor complete all as specified and directed. Note: 3 runs of PVC cable and one run of PVC conduit/ casing capping shall be measured as one unit length.
