REPAIRS TO POWER TRANSFORMER, BUS TRUNKING SYSTERM SF6 CIRCUIT BREAKER CURRENT TRANSFORMERS VOLTAGE STABILIZERS BATTERY BANKS AND CERTAIN CONTROL CABLES AND SWITCH GEARS AT RCI HYDERABAD

Disconnecting the electric supply, removing the HT and LT cable connections of the defective Power transformer, 132/11 KV of 8000KVA capacity, outdoor type, any make, taking down from platform with the help of crane suitable for lifting upto 50Ton or using lifting jacks, loading into low bed trailer of minimum 50 Ton load capacity and transporting the same carefully to workshop for necessary repairs, taking all necessary precautions to avoid possible damage during transit and returning the same after carrying out repairs and reinstallation at the same location using crane, re-establishing connections on HV and LV sides complete all as directed.

Note: Hire charge for heavy duty crane, hydra and Trailer, charges for loading / unloading and transportation are deemed to be included in quoted rate. Any damage to the transformer by the contractor during dismantling, transporting and reassembling of transformer shall be made good without any extra cost to government. Decision of Accepting Officer shall be final and binding.

Opening top cover of 132 / 11KV, 8 MVA capacity transformer, opening of top cover and draining out the Transformer oil, removing the inspection cover, lifting the core with suitable crane and cleaning all healthy parts including coils, laminations, tank, tap changer including sleeves, drying of assembled core and winding in oven upto required IR values, reassembly of transformer by tanking the dried core and winding assembly, fixing of all oil valves, fittings of accessories, making terminal connections to external bushings, including painting of transformer tank externally with two coats of enamel paint and internally with two coats oil resistant paint, complete Routine tests on PTR as per IS-2026, replacing unserviceable LV/ HV bushings, washers, oil seal, gaskets of inspection cover, radiators, HT Cable box, LT cable box with new ones including replacement of OLTC complete all as specified and directed.

Note:HV / LV bush, transformer oil, LV / HV coils, oil seal gaskets of inspection cover, radiators, HT Cable box, LT cable box, OLTC will be measured and paid separately as 'Supply Only' under relevant items. Labour elements for fixing of spares / parts mentioned as 'Supply only' is deemed to include in the unit rate quoted.

Transportation to Workshop and return will be measured and paid separately.

Testing of PTR as per IS-2026 deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

Any hardware and minor items like nuts, bolts, washers, petroleum jelly, grease, CTC required for complete job are deemed to included in the quoted rate.

Filtration of transformer oil at site after installation will be measured and paid separately but for carrying out Routine tests after repairs in workshop shall be deemed to included in quoted rate.

All routine tests shall be carried out on Transformer in the presence of representative nominated by the Accepting Officer before dispatch of Transformer after carrying out repairs to the work site.

Contractor shall submit 12 months guarantee for no oil leakage in transformer and OLTC part from certified date of commissioning of transformer and if any defects are noticed during this period the same shall be rectified free of cost.

Providing of new copper winding in place of damaged winding for LV + HV (For 1 No Limb)

Supply of breather with Silicagel for main tank

Supply and filling up/toping up of transformer oil conforming to IS: 335 (latest revision), dielectric strength not less than 60KV at 2.5mm gap in power transformer complete all as specified and directed. Make: Power Oil/Servo/Castrol/Shell Note: Test certificate shall be submitted by the contractor.

Supply and replace of SRC Gasket

Supply and fixing of insulation for LV + HV winding for 1 Limb

Material and labour for overhauling of radiators by providing new drain plugs and new Teflon washers

M&L for repair/overhaul of stuck radiator butterfly valves

M&L for overhauling of old cooling fans and reconditioning of fan blades, out side casing etc., for proper fuctioning without re-wiring.

Dehydration of transformer oil of 8 MVA power transformer with ultra high vacuum filtration machine to obtain the dielectric strength of 60KV at 2.5mm gap complete all as directed.
