The tenderers have to declare that the specification, places, designs and the condition of the contract on which the rates have been based completely are studied by them before submitting this tender.

(KPTCL has to deduct the royalty charges from the bills of contractors and to remit the royalty charges to the Mines and Geology Department, Govt. of Karnataka. Hence the contractors have to procure quarry materials from quarries approved by the Mines and Geology Department, Govt. of Karnataka, and to obtain the necessary challans regarding supply of quarry materials and to produce the same along with bill for payment. Or else the contractors have to pay five times of the royalty charges along with 30% of DMF and the same will be remitted to the Mines and Geology Department, Govt. of Karnataka.

The tenderers have to declare that they have inspected the work spot and have made themselves thoroughly conversant and satisfied themselves as regard to field conditions of various leads with which the materials, Labour and particulars of various leads with which the materials are to be brought for the work spot.

The tenderers have to declare that the rates quoted for items of woks for which now tenders are called for are inclusive of all leads with which they propose to bring the materials whether it is from the nearest approved quarry or from any other quarry in case materials of good quality are not available in the approved quarries. As such they will not have any claim for higher lead and their quoted rates are with all leads and lifts and irrespective of leads and lifts provided in the sanctioned estimate.

The tenderers have to declare that they have understood all the conditions mentioned above and also the specification stipulated in tender conditions either by going through themselves or by getting translated in their mother tongue.

The tenderers have to declare that the rates tendered by them for this works have not been witnessed by any other contractor or contractors who have tendered for this work.
