PART-A “Repair and raising of height of existing barbed wire fencing and providing concertina coil fencing at Power House Complex, BSPS, Surangani“

Excavation in foundations, trenches etc., in earth work, lift upto 1.50 Metres stacking the eacavated soil not more than 3 metres clear from the edge of the excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm. layers, when required in to plinths sides of foundations etc., consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed with in a lead of 20 metres.100% Pick work

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4(1 cement:2 sand :4 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size)and curing complete excluding cost of form work in: Foundation and plinth.

Providing form work with steel plates 3.15mm.thick welded with angle iron in frame 30x30x5mm. so as to give a fair finish including centring, shuutering, strutting and propping etc. with wooden battens and ballies, height of propping and centring below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4 Mtrs. and removal of the same for insitu-reinforced concrete & plain concrete work in: Foundation, footings basis of columns etc. and mass concrete.

Dismantling steel work upto span of 10 Metres and a height of 5 Metres in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, beadings etc. and stacking the materials within 20 Metres lead Excluding dismembering

Dismantling barbed wire or flexible wire rope in fencing including making rolls and stacking within 20 metre lead. (Frame work to be measured and paid for separately)

Steel work welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work including cutting, hoisting ,fixing in position and applying a priming coat of red lead paint. In beams joists channels ,angles, tee ,flats with connecting plates or angle cleats as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters, purlins connected to common rafters and the like.

Fixing galvanized steel bar-bed wire (IS:278-1962 Type-I) weighing 9.38 kg per 100 metres (minimum) straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts including securing with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire, staples or Steel pins etc. as directed (Labour rate only).

Painting two costs (excluding priming cost on new steel and other metal surfaces eith enamel paint brushin to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of all dirt,dust and other foregin matters :- Enamel paint other than white

Painting one coat (excluding priming coat) on previously painted steel and othermetal surfaces with enamel paint brushing to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter :-- With Enamel paint other than white

Providing and fixing concertina coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil 600 mm dia 10 metre openable length ( total length 90 m), having 50 nos rounds per 6 metre length, upto 3 m height of wall with existing angle iron ‘Y’ shaped placed 2.4m or 3.00 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. reinforced barbed wire, stud tied with G.I. staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, with reinforced barbed tape(R.B.T.) / Spring core (2.5mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165 kg/ sq.mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) and weight 43.478 gm/ metre (cost of M.S. angle, C.C. blocks shall be paid separately)
