Suppy and laying in trenches / fixed on walls / passing through pipes, jointing and testing of electric LT cables, XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables with stranded aluminium conductors 1100 Volts grade including dismantling old cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for the following size :- Note: (i) The rates shall be inclusive of Cable lugs at both ends of cable (ii) Cable jointing kits shall be measured and paid seperately. (iii) Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid seperately. (iv) Insulation Resistance value of cable shall be recorded before and after laying of cable.

Taking down of XLPE/PVC LT UG cable from trenches/ducts/on pole/pipe for identifying faults, rectifying the defects and relaying of serviciable power cable of XLPE / PVC insulated, electric power cable along with DWC pipe laid in trenches / duct with saddling / on pole / through DWC pipe including all necessary fixing arrangement such as lugs and end termination etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge for following sizes:

(a) 3.5 Core, 25 Sqmm to 35 Sqmm

(b) 3.5 Core, 50 Sqmm to 95 Sqmm

(c) 3.5 Core, 120 Sqmm to 240 Sqmm

(c) 3.5 Core, 300 Sqmm to 400 Sqmm

Note: (i) Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid seperately. (ii) DWC pipe against defective shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item. (iii) Quoted rate inclusive of laying only serviceable portion of DWC pipe / cable. (iv) Cable, jointing kit, lugs, if required will be measured and paid seperately. (v) Charges against fault finding by fault locator machine will be measured and paid seperately.

Supply & Laying as in repair of Telerex DWC (Double Wall corrugated) HDPE pipe ISI marked of outer dia of 63 mm polythylene including coupler & Bend with smoooth inernal and corrugated external surface for non pressue under ground cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & Laying as in repair of Telerex DWC (Double Wall corrugated) HDPE pipe ISI marked of outer dia of 77 mm polythylene including coupler & Bend with smoooth inernal and corrugated external surface for non pressue under ground cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & Laying as in repair of Telerex DWC (Double Wall corrugated) HDPE pipe ISI marked of outer dia of 120 mm polythylene including coupler & Bend with smoooth inernal and corrugated external surface for non pressue under ground cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down of old GI pipe of following size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in -charge.

Excavation in trenches any type of soil (soft/loose/hard/dense) not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation, pipe, laying of cable etc not exc 10 Sqm on plan and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Removing excavated materials (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 meters and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meters above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M & L for Cutting the tarmac / hard standings and excavating in trenches across the road for laying cable including making good the excavated portion by means of bitumen road repair mix with necessary equipments suitably compacted laid in appropriate temperature matching with the surroundings complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for detecting LT UG cable faults located in any stretch/ depth with sophisticated cable fault locator consisting of microprocessor based pre-locator system, fault pin point surge wave receiver, cable indentification instrument, cable tracer for exact location of under ground cable routes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note: (i) The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of transportation of equipment from any location and charges for service engineer for identifying the fault including their boarding & lodging complete. (ii) Excavation, returning refilling for rectification of fault with fixing of Straight through joint kit, extra UG Cable and DWC (Double Wall corrugated) HDPE pipe if required will be measured and paid seperately.

Supply and fix in repair of Cable gland of LT UG cables in panels for complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and the following sizes of LT UG cables :-

(a) 10 - 16 Sqmm

(b) 25 - 35 Sqmm

(c) 50 - 70 Sqmm

(d) 95-120 Sqmm

(e) 150-185 Sqmm

M.&L for earthing complete with Galvanized -seel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mir deep below GL) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connections by using Galvanized earth strip 32 x6 mm connected by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanized iron or steel, provision of 40 mm dia GI pipe light grade for protection of GI strip and 20mm dia GI pipe light grade for watering arrangement and PCC (1:3:6) , type CI chamber. MS funnel, wire gauge. 50 mm thick RCC 1:2:4, type B1 earth pit cover with 6 Nos. 8 mm dia high strength deformed steel TMT bars on both ways including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning, filling in, removal of surplus soil to distance n exc 50 mtr, provision of charcoal and salt complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of schedule Part-I and testing and dismantling old earthing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in -charge. Note: (i) Cost of GI earth strip and GI protection pipe upto 7.5mtr length shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item (ii) The unit rate shall also includes for Wire mesh, funnel, excavation.returninng & filling. PCC chamber pit, RCC cover & test point.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (40mm graded aggregate) as in foundation, filling & mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded broken stone aggregate) as in coping/collar of poles including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge

Supply and fixing in repair LT rubber insulation tape 25 cm width 2.5 Mtr long fixing of connection make water proof outside the Electrical equipments and also fixing the underground cable where crack arises outside complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in -charge.
