MAINT AND REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS IN SOUTH AND NORTH SIDE OF RUNWAY IN TECH AREA AT AF STN BHISIANA UNDER GE (AF) BHISIANA

Material & Labour for preparing of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bitumen primer using paving bitumen VG -10 at the rate of 4Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface with and including laying, rolling, consolidating bituminous pre-mix asphaltic semi dense concrete (Design mix) 25 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade mixed in hot mix plant ,laying with mechanical paver,rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material & Labour for repair to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1.0 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in road path etc cutting around edges, at least 25mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat using paving bitumen @ 5Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder using paving bitumen at the rate of 9.8 Kg Per 10Sqm binded with 0.09 cum stone chipping 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings) depth of pot hole exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :- (i) Pot holes shall be marked by Engineer-in-charge before commencement of work and same shall be entered in MB after making good and before laying of bituminous premix carpet. (ii) GE will inform Accepting Officer for convening a Board of Officers at least seven days prior to execution of this item.

Material and labour for Premix bituminous macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using Paving bitumen (VG-30), binder content @ 4.0% by weight of total mix (Preparation of surface and priming / tack coat shall be measured & paid separately) and compacted with 8 to 12 ton power roller and compacted required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) GE will inform Accepting Officer for convening a Board of Officers at least seven days prior to execution of this item. (ii) Hot Mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of agregates and binder and shall be laid in single layer with mechanical sensor paver all as specified and directed. (iii) The design mix shall be carried out from Zonal laboratory/ Govt Engineering Colleges/ CTL or any E-in-C/ MES approved lab as approved by GE before incorporation in work and testing charges shall also born by the contractor.

Supply and fixing in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions including taking down old u/s cat eyes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs convex mirror 1000 mm dia unbreakable polycarbonate with plastic moulded back up frame having provn of mounting in MS pipe light grade 75mm dia & 3000 mm long in which 600 mm embedded in ground with block (size-450mmx450mmx700mm) of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with necessary hold fast & clamps complete all as specified & as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material & Labour for painting lines on road, pavements and the like with adequate no of coats n exc. 10 cm width with road making thermoplastic compoud paint conforming to 'MORTH' specification hot applied with machanically to form a 1.50 mm thick film on road including cleaning and drying the existing road surface to ensure dust,oil,grease and moisture free surface before applying the thermoplastic paint etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material & Labor for Painting Lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavements with adequate no of coats and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow with adequate no of coats applied with mechanically to form a 1.50 mm thick film on road including cleaning and drying the existing road surface to ensure dust, oil grease and moisture free surface before applying and complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.
