Manning and operation of Sewage Treatment Plant & external water supply installation all days including sundays and holiday round the clock in Two shifts in a each day eight hours of each shift from 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs, 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs with one (01) skilled operator / tradesman and Two (02) semi skilled operator / tradesman in each shifts comprising the following assests all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Location: Sewage treatment Plant, CTW at CME (a) Sewage Treatment Plant (MBBR Technology) of 0.12 MLD capacity (b) DG Set of capacity 15 KVA - 01 No (c) Air blower with motor of capacity 7.5 HP - 2 Nos (d) Submersible Sewage pumpset of capacity 5 HP - 2 Nos (d) Chlorine Dozing system - 1 No (e) Overhead reservior of capacity 25000 gallons -1 No (f) DG set of capacity 250 KVA -1 No

Notes for Srl No 3 :- The quoted rate shall deem to include EPF,ESIC and Bonus as applicable

Scope of work For Item Sl No 1 comprises: (i) Stacking the sludge cakes properly (ii) Cleaning the blockages in any pump/pipe line (iii) Complete cleaning of grits and channels daily (iv) Brooms and cleaning materials will be arranged by the contractor (v) During the cleaning safety equipments will be supplied / arranged by the contractor (vi) Removing the algae/sludge in the tube settler and keeping the surrounding area clean daily and removing vegetations etc (vii) Overhead Reservior of capacity 25000 gallon should be filled twice in daily i.e. morning and evening and water supply should be delivered through operating valves twice in daily .

Notes For Item Sl No 1:

(a) EQUIPMENTS TO BE MAINTAINED (i) Bar screen chamber (ii) Filtration system (iii) Air blower (iv) Tube settler (v) Raw water sewage pump (vi) Inter connecting pipes (vii) Chlorine dosing tank (viii) Valves (ix) Sludge drying bed (x) Electrical system and panel (xi) Raw water collection sump (xii) Installed machinery for treated water supply (xiii) DG set

(b) Contractor shall ensure that treated sewage water shall confirm to the following characteristics:- (i) PH: 6 to 9 (ii) TSS : < 50 Mg/ltr (iii) BOD : < 30 Mg / ltr (iv) COD: < 150 Mg / ltr (v) Residual Cl: < 1 Mg/ltr (vi) Dissolved Oxygen : > 4 Mg/ ltr (vii) Coli Form : < 1000 MPN

(c) Contractor shall ensure that STP will be operated and maintained under guidance & supervision of experts and inspect the plant monthly.

(d) Contractor shall provide commited technical support in the advert of any requirement of the same and proper operator training will be provided in order to run the plant efficiently.

(e) The contractor's rate shall be deemed to be included for above aspect. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Note for Sl No 1 & 3 :- (i) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of GST at applicable rates against item of M&O. (ii) If the contractor will quote below the rate of minimum wages for labour as per Govt of India , then those type of bid shall be rejected by the department.

(a) Contractor will submit the nominal roll and qualification certificates and experience certificates of tradesmen being employed in the work within 15 days of acceptance to the Engineer-in-charge and copy of the same shall be forwarded to the GE. (b)The Operator shall be ITI qualified in concerned trade or shall have minimum 03 years experience in operation of STPs. (c) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include cost of consumable items such as cotton waste and Hessain clothes, T&P required for maintenance, stationery for log book sheet, attendance register, First aid box, operator uniform (.as approved by Engr-In-Charge for all skilled person deployed ,with firm name and name tab of Indl clean dress is must, failing which one time shift quoted rate will be deducted) shoes and rain coat etc.

(d) Contractor will ensure attendance of all operators shift wise. The operator/attendent shall not leave the installation without reliever and installation shall not be left unmanned in any case.If any staff found absent,a recovery of Two times of the min wages prescribed as per the govt charges by the contractor against each shift/item shall be made.

(e) Suitable reliever to be provided during off shift operator as per the labour law. (f) Contractor shall be submitted the proof of payment of wages through Aadhar linked bank account of operators in every month of 1st week. (g) Contractor shall be provided notice board of each installation within 15 days from the date of commencement of contract. (h) Contractor shall submit the monthly duty roster of each installation before 03 days of respective month.

(j) Carrying out checks (daily/weekly/monthly) of plant being operated (i.e. DG set/Pumps/STP, etc) as per manufacture’s manual and as directed by engineer- In- Charge (k) Generator room, STP and surroundings area is to be maintained neat and dry including clearing of vegetation and grass around the Plant Room (l) The contractor on acceptance will acquire valid entry passes from HQ Adm Wing CME for entering in restricted area through Engineer-in-charge.

(m) No claim whatsoever shall be admissible regarding distance between plants/installation and location of plant/installation to be kept operational under above items. Rate quoted are deemed to be inclusive of this aspect. (n) Adequate amount of insurance of all the operators shall be made against workers compensation act against any accident before commencement of work without any extra cost to Dept. (o) Contractor shall be responsible for safe custody of all the machinery/installations installed in the pump houses/STPs.

(p) All the workers should possess sound health to work on pump houses/STPs and their age must lie between 18 to 50 years. (q) The Contractor shall sign inventory of the equipment/Bldg of MES installation before comencement of work any damage/theft to the govt property,the contractor will be responsible and recover to this effect will be made as decided by GE.and copy of the inventory to be forwarded before commencement of work to GE office duly signed by contractor and MES rep.

(r) If there any change of staff by the contractor,the same shall be informed by the contractor in advance in writing to the accepting officer before three days.The accepting officer reserves the right to change staff or not,however accepting officer can remove concern employee on the basis of Non performance.

M & L for carry out testing of treated water of STP including for collection of water samples from the STP and testing from govt approved testing laboratory, submitting of reprort for following parameters all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
