REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF DG SETS AT VARIOUS LOCATION UNDER GE (AF) MARATHAHALLI

M & L for supply, carrying out B check maintenance of DG set including the replacement of fuel filters, lub oil filters, SLO by pass filters and engine oil as per manufacturer specifications and quantity all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for : DG set 750 KVA installed at SDI Power house Make:- Cummins/Stamford Notes:- (i) 'B' check shall be carried out once in every six months or 300 hours of running of DG Set whichever is earlier through authorised agency of the particular OEM. Servicing of DG Set shall be carried out alongwith connected Alternator and Panel Board excluding AMF Panel and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set and shall also attend all the maintenance works as and when required in the contract period except in case of Major repairs (ii) Spare parts, engine oil and radiator coolant oil required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares/ filling of oils shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (iii) Cost of other consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item,contractor to provide fuel filter, oil filter, water filter,top head gaskets,fuel pipes and distilled water. (iv) List of checks to be carried out under 'B' check is attached as Appendix 'B' to the Particular specifications. and the consumables shall be purchased from Original manufacturers/ manufacturer authorized stockiest/ distrubutor/ dealer only by the contractor and also the contractor always keep minimum required consumable quantities in hand as a pro-active/ preventive maint/ breakdown.

(ii) The Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the AMF Panel and shall also attend all the maintenance works as and when required in the contract period except in case of Major repairs

Servicing of Self Starter assembly of 24 volt DC suitable for 320 KVA to 750 KVA by disconnecting from engine and dismantling the same, cleaning all accessories, replace the wornout parts like brushes, bushes, contact plates, jumping leads and seals, revarnishing the field coil, armature and reassembling the same, refitting to the engine and testing all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
