Note for item nos Item Nos 22.15 to 22.18 - Energy Efficient Motors-Motors shall comply with following a. All permanently wired poly phase motors of 0.375kW or more serving the building and expected to operate more than 1500 hours per year and all permanently wired poly phase motors of 50kW or more serving the building and expected to operate more than 500 hours per year shall have a minimum acceptable nominal full load motor efficiency not less than IS 12615 for energy efficient motors b. Motors of horsepower differing from those listed in the table shall have efficiency greater than that of the next listed kW motor 0.64% c. Motor horse power rating shall not exceed 20% of the calculated maximum load being served, d . Motor nameplate shall list the nominal full- load motor efficiencies and the full load power factor
e. Motor users should insist on proper rewinding practices for any rewound motors. If the proper rewinding practice can not be assured, the damaged motor should be replaced with a new, efficient one rather than suffer the significant efficiency penalty associated with typical rewind practices f. Certificates shall be obtained and kept on record indicating the motor efficiency. Whenever a motor is rewound, Appropriate measures shall be taken so that the core characteristics of the motor is not lost due to thermal and mechanical stress during removal of damaged parts after rewinding a new efficiency test shall be performed and a similar record shall be maintained

[J] Plug-in Hole
[i] The connecting jaw of the plug-in unit shall plug directly onto the busbar and have full contact with busbar itself. Welded tab at plug-in busbar is not allowed.

[D] ENCLOSURE
[i] Construction: The metal enclosure of the busbar trunking system shall be of hot dip galvanized steel to provide high protection and mechanical resistance for the phase conductors along the entire length.
[ii] In order to limit magnetic field around the busbar system, aluminium enclosures are not acceptable.
[iii] Enclosure shall be painted with powder coated epoxy paint as per OEM’s standard of suitable shade
[E] TAP-OFF OUTLETS:
[i] Tap-off outlets shall be given at suitable interval as per site requirement. It shall be possible to use them simultaneously.
[ii] Tap-off outlets shall be connected to the isolators to form a block, holding the bars. They shall have a shuttered outlet which is opened and closed automatically when tap-off units are plugged in or remove.
[F] TAP-OFF UNIT
[i] Tap-off units shall be from the same manufacturer as the busbar trunking system and shall be provided with off-load isolator suitable for circuit breakers according to ratings.
[ii] All circuit breakers used shall be able to operate normally when mounted upside down or at any angles.
[iii] Tap-off units shall be of dust and damp proof version, degree of protection IP 54 with silver plated contacts suitable for all ratings of busbar and shall be suitably earthed.
[iv] The earthing contact of the tap-off unit shall always be made before that of the live conductors and the last to break during removal.

The busbar trunking system shall conform to the following technical specifications:
[A] General:
[i] The busbar trunking system (BTS), both feeder and plug-in, shall be of sandwich construction. All components and fittings (straight length, elbow, tees, flanged ends, cable tap box and circuit breaker, etc.) shall be in accordance with IEC 61439 Part 6 (2012) or UL857 and from the same manufacturer as the busbar trunking system. Degree of protection of the BTS shall be IP 65 in accordance with IEC 60529.
[ii] Rated operation voltage of the BTS shall be 1 kV. The neutral conductor shall have the same cross-sectional area as the phase conductor. The earth busbar must be one continuous piece without bolting on housing.
[B] Certificate:
[i] The busbar, of full range and each rating, shall pass full type tests specified in IEC 61439-6. The certificate shall be issued by an international independent testing authority (e.g. ASTA, KEMA, UL).
[ii] A product safety mark (e.g. KEMA-KEUR, ASTA DIAMOND, UL) shall be on the product offering a visible assurance to all of full product safety testing, factory inspection and ongoing surveillance under independent authority to ensure the ongoing safety of product.
[iii] The BTS shall pass seismic tests with actual physical product and being certified complying with UBC seismic Zone 4 condition by an international recognized earthquake research body, e.g. Asian Pacific Network of Centers for Earthquake Engineering Research (ANCER).
[C] Short-Circuit Ratings & Tests:
[i] The whole BTS shall be capable of withstanding the short circuit of the electrical installation without undergoing any electrical, mechanical and thermal stress under fault condition at a service voltage of 1 kV at 50 Hz frequency. The minimum rated insulation voltage shall be 1 kV.
[ii] Minimum certified short circuit ratings shall be 198 kA peak and 90 kA for 1 s for 3200 A BTS.
[D] Housing:
[i] The busbar trunking housing shall be constructed of electro galvanized steel and aluminum to reduce hysteresis and eddy current loses and shall be provided with a suitable protective finish of ANSI 49 grey epoxy paint.
[ii] The busbar trunking housing shall be totally enclosed non-ventilated for protection against mechanical damage and dust accumulation. And it shall pass at least 2000 hr salt spray test to ensure the anticorrosion ability.
[iii] The totally enclosed housing shall be manufactured by the busbar trunking manufacturer. Modifications of busbar trunking to make it totally enclosed by housing other than the busbar trunking manufacturer voids the manufacturer’s warranty. Busbar trunking so modified is unacceptable without the written consent of the manufacturer.
[E] Busbars:
[i] Busbars shall be of aluminum with copper cladding utilized Molecular Fusion technology.
[ii] There shall be no bolts passing through the busbars of the busway.
[iii] Each busbar shall be insulated with Class B (130 ℃) DuPont Mylar insulation. Epoxy insulation is unacceptable.
[iv] The temperature rise at any point of the busbar trunking enclosure shall not exceed 55° C above the ambient temperature of 40° C when operated at rated current.
[F] Joints:
[i] The busbar trunking joint shall be of the one-bolt type which utilizes a high strength steel bolt(s) and Belleville washers to maintain proper pressure over a large contact surface area.
[ii] The bolt shall be torque indicating and at earth potential.
[iii] The bolt shall be two-headed design to indicate when proper torque has been applied and require only a standard long handle wrench to be properly activated.
[iv] Access shall be required to only one side of the busbar trunking for tightening joint bolts.
[v] It shall be possible to remove any joint connection assembly to allow electrical isolation or physical removal of a busbar trunking length without disturbing adjacent busbar trunking lengths.
[G] Plug-in Openings:
[i] The connecting jaw of the plug-in unit shall plug directly on to the busbar and have full contact with busbar itself. Welded tab at plug-in busbar is unacceptable.
[ii] All contact on joint and plug-in opening should be silver plated copper.
[iii] On plug-in busbar trunking there shall be three dead front, hinged cover type plug-in openings on each side.
[iv] All openings shall be usable simultaneously.
[v] Busbar trunking shall be installed so that plugs are side mounted to permit practical use of all plug-in openings.
[vi] It shall be possible to inspect the plug-in opening and busbars prior to the installation of the plug-in units.
[H] Plug-in Units:
[i] The plug-in jaw shall be spring design composed of different metal to ensure the firm and tight contact with the busbar.
[ii] Plug-in Units shall be type tested in accordance with IEC 61439-6 (Annex D: Part 1-5 and 9-13).
[iii] The earthing contact of the plug-in unit shall always be made before that of the live conductors and the last to break during removal. And it must connect to the earth bar of busway to ensure the safety.
[iv] Covers of all plug-in units must have interlocks to prevent the cover from being opened when the switch is in the ON position.
[v] Plug-in units (circuit breaker type or fusible switch type) shall be operated with visible blade quick-make and quick-break mechanism.
[vi] Presence of transparent shield shall be inside to avoid direct contact of human.
[vii] The plug-in units shall be equipped with internal barriers to prevent accidental contact of fish tape and conductors with live parts on the line side of the protective device during time of wire pulling.

Fire Protection
M & L for 2 core, 2.5 mm² copper conductor, XLPE insulated armoured cables, conforming to IS: BS EN 60228, having annealed copper conductor, PVC inner sheath, single armouring of galvanized round steel wire, one layer of PETP tape wrapping, collective screen of PETP/Aluminum tape over tinned copper drain wire, RED in colour, including clamping, termination and ferruling complete all as specified and directed. Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electric motor driven horizontal end-suction & top discharge, back pull-out type centrifugal booster pump, conforming to IS: 12469- 2011, with CI casing, bronze impeller and stainless steel shaft, mechanical seal, etc. to deliver 450 LPM at 30 m head coupled with a spacer coupling to a 2 pole TEFC type squirrel cage induction motor of suitable HP with IP 55 protection of enclosure at 2900 RPM speed, efficiency not less than 55%, suitable for operation on 415 V ±10%, 3-Phase, 50 Hz AC supply, horizontal foot-mounted type with class F insulation, confirming to IS: 325-1978, with DOL starter, coupling guard, foundation as per manufacturer, complete all as specified and directed. LIFT: Comprehensive maintenance and repairs of fully automatic electrically operated passenger lifts of any Make and installed capacity of 08/13 passenger to serve G+ 5, G+, G+10 , G+13 floor with AC variable voltage & variable frequency (VVVF drive) complete with all standard accessories, simplex collective automatic & manual dual controlled operation with/without attendant, automatic centre opening doors wth VVVF door drive (electric motor driven mechanism), sliding stainless steel door automatic rescue device (ARD) system , 3D infra red sensor in full height of door) and built in announcing system without hand set (04 Nos, one each in car, Machine room & near Ground floor landing door) comprising of all devices and accessories through 60 months ( including defect liability period of 24 months ) for all days including holidays etc after expiry of defects liability period as shown below and all as specified and dierected to GE. Note : (i)Contractor shall carryout comprehensive maintenance (routine, daily , weekly , monthly , quarterly , half yearly, yearly ) as per attached Performa and maintain all the lifts in serviceable condition 24 hrs X 365 days without any extra cost .(ii) WO for maint of lifts shall be issued by GE after completion of defect liability period for every consequent year for total period of 3 years.(ii) Final bill shall be paid after certified completion of work for each WO seperately.
