SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (AIR CONDITIONING WORKS )

Dismantling and taking out unserviceable central Air Conditioning plant two unit of capacity 11 TR each comprising compressor, motors, condenser, water pumps, water tank and cooling towers including PCC staging and Air handling unit and its ducting, LT panel, piping and cable ie complete system of existing AC plant installed at the location as directed by GE and removing from site and depositing to MES store yard of AGE E/M REFG complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in – Charge.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of chilled water type central air conditioning plant of minimum running capacity of 2 x 12.5 TR (1x12.5 TR capacity of running chiller unit and 1x12.5 TR capacity of stand by unit ) to maintain the inside temp 67 (+) or (-) 5 degree Farhenite and RH 55 (+) or (-) 5% all as specified. The plant comprising of M & L for all the items specified in Particular specifications provided in CLAUSE 25 of PARTICULAR SPECIFICATIONS SECTION-II (KEY SPECIFICATIONS) of the tender document and bidders are advised to ascertain the same before quoting their rate. No further claim will be entertained. (Drawing of AC space and plant room are kept in GE (U) Btd office. Bidders are advised to go through the same before quoting the rate. )

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized iron or steel earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60cm x 6.0mm thick buried directly in ground, vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at depth of not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level surounded from all sides with alternate layers of charcoal and common salt and connected to GI earth strip 25 x 4 mm thick by means of GI bolts, nuts washers & check nuts and soldering the strip, electrode connected to panel board or on poles or on transformer (including making of test point with GI strip of size 32 x 6 mm) including GI protection pipe 40 mm bore light grade dia for protection of strip upto the extent of 7.5 mtr all as directed, GI pipe light grade 20 mm bore for watering including providing funnel and wire mesh, GI frame with suitably reinforced RCC pit cover, PCC chamber pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates complete including excavation and earth work in any type of strata , all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR-2009 Part - I, PCC pit shall be provided at least 50 cm away from the earth pit and not just on earth pit including testing on completion and dismantling of old earthing.

Item No 03 Contd : Note:- The rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included of earth strip 25x4mm and pit protection pipe 40mm dia light grade up to 7.5 mtr distance. Earth strip beyond 7.5 mtr will be measured and paid separately under relevant items. (ii) The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, RCC 1:2:4 type B1 cover 50mm thick reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 150mm C/C both ways, funnel with watering pipe. (iii) Each earthings shall be provided by the contractor as per IE rules for compressor, motor, pump sets, electrical panel and AHU as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recessed or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/ pipe for loop earthing etc. or any other indicated situation as required by using 25 x 4 mm GI strip complete.
