Attending Hot/Cold works and other electrical works on Tug MT Andaman stationed at Haddo Wharf, Port Blair in A and N Islands

ANNEXTURE - I REPAIR/RECTIFICATION WORKS (MECHANICAL)

Attending the following hot works / cold works , rectification of electrical apparatus /sensors , supplying and fabrication works on Tug MT Andaman on board including cost of all materials required and bringing back to original shape and size as required of the deformed structures viz cropping of pipes/plates , Straightening of buckled plates , angles and other structures of deck , repair of mushroom vents , sounding pipes etc with neat finish , which includes cleaning and degreasing of structures to be repaired before and after completion of works with cleansing agents and properly uniformly painting with two coats of approved marine paints over the new repaired structures matching with the existing paintings on the TUG components including cost of all men , materials , paints , primers , welding , gas , welding rods minor and major tools and plants , gate entry pass’s , hot work permissions etc. transportation charges , all applicable taxes, GST , Safety equipments , hot work permissions etc .

1. 4 no’s Bulwark Stay Buckled which needs to be cropped and renewed and about 2 sqm of bulwark plate dented / buckled , the same needs to be rectified . 2. Deck Gunwale approx 5 meters Buckled needs to cropped and renewed 3. Forecastle anchor chain Hawse pipe cover to be fabricated and provided along with securing arrangement for both Port & stbd side 4. Tank air vents Bolts around 150 no’s need to be changed by removing the old damaged one size 24mmX 60mm length. 5. Portside Chain Locker Brass sounding cap, fore and aft peak’s void space brass sounding cap frozen and need’s to be freed and renewed with ne one with chain attatchmen and deformed threading groove to be rectified and 4 no’s new one to be fabricated and to be supplied (as per the size of the sounding pipe) 6. Forecastle fresh water tank sounding cap chain (Stainless Steel) arrangement to be provided 7. 1st Deck’s – Railing pipes about 4 to 10 meters along with stay need to be repaired if required by cropping the damaged /buckled pipe and welding at appropriate place 8. Rectification of buckled Laundry room mushroom exhaust vent hood and the twisted spindle needs to be straightened. 9. Stbd and port side Embarkation point hand railing assembly base corroded part to be partly cropped and renewed. 10. Attending rectification of Port side anchor strucking issue when housed in hawse pipe . 11. Rectification of Port and stbd side anchor cable slipping in gypsy sprockets while lowering and hoisting. 12. Rectification of Twisted and bent mounting angle of Stbd side Naviagation side and partly bent mounting plate of Port side 13. Rectifying 2 no’s choked aft deck scuppers to be freed . 14. Fabrication and fixing of new MS cradle – 2 no’s as suitable with appropriate angles/channel/flats for life raft as on board with U shape resting / seating arrangements . (Including cost of all spares/materials required to execute the work, labour charges, GST etc., complete.)

Note: The participant is required to visit the TUG on his own expenses for visual verification of nature and quantum of works involved for the listed rectification works (Annexture-I) before quoting their rates , and any damage to other parts while attending the listed repairs / rectification works will have to be renewed by the agency at his own cost and spares and the agency is bound to abide by the rules and regulation of Ship / TUG while executing the work and all works to be executed as per std norms as applicable for Ships/TUG.

ANNEXTURE - II REPAIR /RECTIFICATION WORKS (ELCTRICAL / ELECTRONICS APPARATUS)

a) Troubleshooting and Rectification of No.2 generator’s watt meter which includes finding faults and rectifying the corresponding defects that has led to malfunction of wattmeter and allied electrical connections viz loose connections , worn out soldering , loosened mini screws , lugs , cables, clamps etc . OR b) In case of defective wattmeter , replacing the same with approved new one with testing showing working parameters . (Including cost of all spares/materials required to execute the work, labour charges, GST etc., complete.)

Rectification, of defective Unmanned Machinery Space (UMS) notation and troubleshooting its defects along with its allied accessories, replacing the required units and making the UMS unit in working condition, including replacing/repairing of any essential corresponding allied components . ( The agency is required to inspect the system prior quoting to know the exact nature of defect) (Including cost of all spares/materials required to execute the work, labour charges, GST etc., complete.)

Note: i) The scope of works for Rectification and troubleshooting imply that the defect as mentioned above must be attended fully until its original performance is regained including attending and repairing of all the corresponding defects that are related to the apparatus / unit and no additional quantum/extension/co-related and further growth of work will be entertained . ii) While testing / working on the defect if any failure of other equipment/apparatus thereby occurs, it will be the sole responsibility of the agency to replace the same with new one unarguably and the quoted rates must be inclusive of all these co-related work and any other works also that creeps thereby . The participant is required to visit the TUG at his own expenses for visual verification of nature and quantum of works involved for the listed rectification works ( 1 & 2) before quoting their rates . iii) The Agency must Perform Testing of the all the rectified defects to the Satisfaction of Master/Chief Engineer of TUG / Executive Engineer(CSWD),ALHW .
