CERTAIN BR REPAIR WORKS TO ROOF TREATMENT OF VARIOUS BUILDINGS AND CERTAIN REPAIRS TO ROOFING SYSTEMS AT CABS CEMILAC AND STIR UNDER AGE BRII AT BANGALORE

Taking up and removing existing APP modified polymeric waterproofing membrane of any thickness from roof slab, including hacking / stripping the membrane, removing bituminous residues, adhesives and loose materials, cleaning the roof surface thoroughly to receive new water proofing treatment, loading, conveying and disposing of the dismantled membrane and debris outside the premises to an approved dumping ground complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of plain cement concrete (PCC) of any description and in any position, not otherwise specifically provided for, including breaking up by manual or mechanical means, dismantling, loading, removing and disposing of unserviceable materials and debris outside the premises to an approved dumping ground, and leaving the site clean and ready for further work, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying padding concrete on roof slabs for slope correction, average 40mm thick, using Plain Cement Concrete, type B0, (1:2:4) using 12.5mm graded coarse aggregate, laid to the required slope and profile towards rainwater outlets, including preparation of the existing roof surface, placing, compacting, finishing the surface smooth, curing, and completing the work in all respects complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for forming contraction (dummy) joints in roof padding concrete, by machine saw cutting 10mm wide × 25mm deep at locations as directed, cleaning the joint thoroughly and filling with approved elastomeric / polysulphide sealing compound over suitable backing material wherever required, including finishing the joint neat and watertight, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick in CM (1:4) on fair faces concrete surfaces mixed with water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- Water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3 Kg / Sqm minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (Weight not less than 150 gms / Sqm) laid on primed surfaces by forced application including bituminous primer confirming ot IS-3384 applied @ 0.3 ltr / Sqm and applying aluminium paint @ 100 ml / Sqm including taking down old APP membrane complete all as specified and as directed as under :-

Four course of roof treatment consist of as under :- (a) Applying one coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS 3384 @ 0.3 ltr/Sqm (b) Laying of APP based membrane as specified thickness and weight. (c) Applying one coat bitumen grade 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm. (d) Applying one coat of aluminium paint @ 100ml/Sqm.

Providing and applying HS TPO Membrane of 1.2mm thick over the layer of 200 gsm Geo-Textile with overlap joints of 75mm in both longitudinal and transverse direction of the TPO and sealed properly with hot air welding and terminate TPO at the top of parapet wall with termination strip and fix it by screw at 300mm c/c and sealed with HS Joint seal PU on top including surface preparation like remove all loose gravels, dirt, oil, grease and other foreign particle by jet or dry air and clean the surface mechanically or by grinding to make it smooth before application and PCC / cementitious coving of 75mm radius shall be provided at all junctions between vertical and horizontal faces before application of TPO completely as per specification and direction.

Material and labour for arresting seepage through joints of precast interlocking wall panels by removing the existing sealant from joints of all widths and depths, including complete extraction of old sealant, cleaning and preparing the joint surfaces, and disposal of debris, providing PU injection grouting treatment by drilling holes, fixing NRV mechanical metal packers (6–14 mm dia) at suitable spacing and depth as recommended by the manufacturer or directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, cleaning the joints with high-pressure air, and injecting two-component flexible closed-cell PU injection resin (measured and paid separately under the relevant item) using an approved injection pump to achieve a complete watertight seal. The rate includes removal of packers, sealing of holes with approved repair mortar, all labour, consumables (excluding PU resin), tools, equipment, scaffolding, and all incidental works, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
