Design, supply, installation, testing and commisioning of Sewage treatment Plant of 50 KLD capacity as per the existing sewage conditions based on principle of aerobic attached growth non clogging randomly Moving Bed Bio-Reactor (MBBR) Technology including electro mechanical units and all the miscellaneous civil works including foundation for equipments (Pumps, Blowers etc.) as per the design requirements complete as per the OEM specifications in the tender documents with and including following:-
MBBR Sewage Treatment Plant Comprises of the following
RCC recycled water tank/sump of capacity 50,000 Ltrs for collecting the treated water of STP for recycling of water.
Bar Screen Grid
Sewage Transfer pumps
All works of interconnecting piping etc.
Lamella plates for secondary clarifier / settler.
Chlorine contact tank.
Air Blower: 2 No’s.

Earthing shall be provided for all equipments/machinaries as per OEM instruction/IE Rules.
All MS structure/pipe shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved grade, brand and colour under one coat of primer. Painting shall be done as per colour coding.
Necessary site clearing and earth works as required at site.
Parameters of raw sewage water enclosed as Appx 'A' is only for guidence. Contractor shall obtain fresh sewage sample and design the plant based on the results. The responsibility lies with the successful bidder so as to ensure output criteria and quality of treated water.
Treated water parameters will be as under in compliance of National Green Tribunal Order date 30 Apr 2019 and E-in-C's branch policy.
(a) PH - 6.5 to 8.3
(b) BOD - upto 10 mg/lit
(c) TSS - upto 10 mg/lit
(d) TDS - upto 2100 mg/lit
(e) COD - upto 30 mg/lit
(f) Nitrogen - upto 10 mg/lit
(g) Phosphorus - upto 1 mg/lit
(h) Faecal Coliform Most Probable Number (MPN) - upto 100
The following design parameters shall be considered while designing the plant.
(a) An optimally operated MBBR will have BOD removal efficiency of the range of 90%.
(b) The range of F/M ratio from 0.1 to 0.4.
(c) BOD/COD ratio of the range of 0.1-0.3.
(d) Design of the STP shall be vetted either from IIT or NIT only and as approved by the Accepting Officer.
(e) The plant shall be designed for operation in two shifts i.e 16 hrs / day.
(f) STP all equipment/machinaries and all connected works shall be conforming to relevant IS/IE Rules/NGT norms and shall be of approved make of MES and other items shall be ISI marked or conforming to IS.
(g) Any other items required to complete the works but not mentioned above shall be treated included in the rate quoted by the contractor.
(h) Contractor shall provide portable type testing kit with necessary chemical for carryout in house testing on regular basis of the following para meters :
(i) pH valve
(ii) TDS
(iii) TSS
(iv) BOD
(vi) Chloride
(vii) Sulphate
(viii) Oil and grease
(j) Contractor shall provide test report from Govt Lab / NABL approved Lab of treated water after commisioning of STP.
Note:- RCC shall be the construction materials of all components of STP as per OEM design and shall be vetted from IIT/NIT and approved by the Accepting Officer
Supply, Install, Testing and commissioining of Monoblock self priming type pumpset of discharge capacity 550 to 1150 LPM at 39 mtr head including 3, phase induction motor of suitable HP including suction pipe and foot valve, NRV, Pressure gauges etc for pumping of treated water to utilized area alongwith all necessary accessories and foundation as per OEM instruction complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fix PPR Gate/ globe valve of size 65mm outer dia (brass insert)
Supply and fix PPR Gate/ globe valve of size 32mm outer dia (brass insert)
Supply and fix 3 layer PPR poly propylene randam copolymer) pipe SDR 7.4 (PN 16) UV stabilished anti micro oil fusion welded having thermal stability for hot and cold water supply all PPR plain and brass threaded polypropylene random fittings laid in trenches of following outer dia of the pipe:-

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m depth and getting out soft / loose soil for laying cables / pipes / erection of poles etc all as specified and as directed.
Removing excavated material (soil) not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point all as specified and as directed.
Returning filling in soil including spreading levelling watering well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each all as specified and as directed.
Supply and Lay cable LT XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with strandard aluminium conductor of size 3.5 core x 95 sqmm all as specified and as directed.
Supply and Lay cable LT XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with strandard aluminium conductor of size 4 core x 16 sqmm all as specified and as directed.
Supply & Laying of Telerex DWC (Double Wall corrugated) HDPE pipe ISI marked of outer dia of 77 mm and inner dia 63 mm polythylene including coupler & Bend with smoooth inernal and profiled external surface for non pressue under ground cable complete all as specified.
Supply & Laying of Telerex DWC (Double Wall corrugated) HDPE pipe ISI marked of outer dia of 110 mm and inner dia 95 mm polythylene including coupler & Bend with smoooth inernal and profiled external surface for non pressue under ground cable complete all as specified.
Supply installation, testing and commissioning of factory made powder coated compartmentalized cubical LT panel, outdoor type with canopy, fabricated from 3mm thick CRCA sheet steel with necessary angle iron frame fabricated with 50x50x6mm MS angle, weather proof vermin proof, including chamber of 400 Amps rating aluminium busbar for 3 phase and 200A for neutral with coloured PVC sleeves mounted on suitable insulators and separators operations on 415 volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire AC supply complete with gland plates, lifting hooks, venttilating louvers, inter connections, earthing terminals, labeling, cable alley suitable for terminations of cables including supply and fixing of following switchgear and accessories in the panel complete as required size conforming to relevant IS specification. The panel should be CPRI approved and having dust, vermin proof, weather proof, IP 54 ingress protection including necessary foundation for mounting all as specified and directed incorporating the following.
M&L for earthing complete with Galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below GL) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connections by using Galvanized earth strip 32x6 mm dia connected by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanized iron or steel, provision of 40 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for protection of G1 earth strip and 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering arrangement and PCC (1:3:6), type CI chamber. MS funnel, wire gauge. 50mm thick RCC 1:2:4, type B1 earth pit cover with 6 Nos. 8mm dia high strength deformed steel TMT bars on both ways including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning, filling in, removal of surplus soil to distance n.exc 50 mtr, provision of charcoal and salt complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of Standard Schdule of Rates Part I (2009)
NOTE : (i) Cost of GI earth strip and GI protection pipe upto 7.5 mtr length shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item (ii) The unit rate shall also includes for wire mesh, funnel, excavation returning and filling PCC chamber pit, RCC cover and test point (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500mm away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit. (iv) All accessories required for galvanised steel plate electrode required, as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge as per SSR Part-I of 2009.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded aggregate for concrete bed to drain pipe including placing under and haunching against the sides of pipes for 150 mm bore pipes all as specified and as directed.
M&L 150 mm bore Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP3, laid and jointed complete with collars all as specified and as directed.
M&L RCC M30 grade (Desgin Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation including footing plinth beam, base for colum all as specified and as directed.
M&L RCC M30 grade (Desgin Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in columns all as specified and as directed.
M & L Pre cast cement concrte block masonry with solid blocks type C1 1:3:6 using 20 mm graded aggregate exc. 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6 as specified and as directed.
S&F 150 mm bore sand cas Cast iron soil, waste pipes in any length with or without ears, with cement joints, laid in trenches or in floors as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:4 on brick/concrete wall surfaces with WPC and finished even and smooth without using extra cement (WPC will be measured seperately) as specified and as directed.
M&L for applying two coats of cement base paint over plastered surfaces with alkali resistant priming paint over newly prepared wall surfaces as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including MS wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed
Supply only integral water proof compound as specified and as directed
Cutting into existing man holes for connecting new drains making good to pipe and retenring , cuting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-I smooth finished and reforming benching as required for 1500 mm dia as specified and as directed
M&L rungs of M S round bars 16mm dia bent to shape and embedded in concrete as specified and as directed

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded aggregate for concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and completely surrounding pipes with concrete after they are laid and tested in for 150 mm bore pipes all as specified and directed
M & L TMT bar 6 to 8 mm dia and over, cut to length, bend to shape required including crancking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire not less than 0.9 mm dia as stirrups all as specified and directed
M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C1using 20 mm graded aggregate for benching, copings, kneelers, apex stones etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles all as specified and directed
Manning and operation of STP of capacity 50 KLD and associated connected accessories for a period of 11 months at INHS Dhanvantari to keep installations in functional condition in two shifts per day (each shifts 08 hrs) timing of shifts shall be as per the duty roaster provided by Engineer-in-Charge including maintaining log sheet and other periodical, maintenance record complete all as specified and directed by employing qualified staff of 01 No of skilled operators and 01 No. helper (01 FGM and 01 helper per each shift and 2 shifts a day) Notes : This item is to be operated after physical completion and commissioning of STP plant. i.e : Phase I This item is to be operated for first Eleven months only, after completion of Phase I.
Manning and operation of STP of capacity 50 KLD and associated connected accessories for a period of 11 months at INHS Dhanvantari to keep installations in functional condition in two shifts per day (each shifts 08 hrs) timing of shifts shall be as per the duty roaster provided by Engineer-in-Charge including maintaining log sheet and other periodical, maintenance record complete all as specified and directed by employing qualified staff of 01 No of skilled operators and 01 No. helper (01 FGM and 01 helper per each shift and 2 shifts a day) Note : This item is to be operated after completion of item no.43 here-in-before for 2 nd eleven months only
