Dismantling & removing the existing Reinforced Cement Concrete work etc., by using required mechinaries including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50m lead, labour charges, as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Dismantling brickwork manually by mechanical means including stacking of serviceaboe material and disaposal of unservice material within 50 meters lead as per direction of Engineer in charge..

Dismantling , removing and carefully stacking Doors & windows including removal of frames,hinges and fastenings etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers at site of work.

Carting away surplus excavated earth available with in the campus is to be carted to a lead of within 10 KM from site. The rate shall include loading into the tipper/ lorry transporting and unloading, leveling and the earth scooped by bulldozers grading etc.,complete with all respects complying with relevant standard specification, as directed by the Departmental Officers. Rate to include materials, loading, unloading, transportation, plant and machinery, hire and fuel charges for tools and plants and other incidental charges, royalties, seignorage and taking statutory approvals as necessary to carry out the work as complete with all respects complying with relevant standard specification, as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work excavation for all foundations in all type of soils and sub soils to the required depth for Footings, plinth / grade beams, etc,. by mechinaries including manual excavation for the following type of soil / rock as per detailed specification. As per SS 20B as hard rock requiring blasting inclusive of shoring strutting and baling out water wherever necessary and including refilling 0 to 2.0m depth consolidation depositing the surplus earth in places shown clearing and leveling the site with an initial lead of 10 metre and lifts as specified hereunder etc., complete in all respects complying with relevant standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and Filling with M - sand in foundation and others sub structures for 100mm thick and well watered, rammed and consolidated by power compacter. The rate includes the cost of M sand, compacting with mechanical compactors, labour charges for leveling, loading & Unloading and Transportation charges etc., complete and as per the standard specification

Providing Pre construction Anti termite treatment for the building including all chemicals as per standard specifications. Labour charges for preparing the areas for treatment spraying chemicals and other incidential charges etc., complete. The rate shall be inclusive of giving anti-termite treatment to the building for the following four stages including breaking the termite mounds making holes with crow bars at an intervel of 12"to a depth of 8" in the periphery of building and pouring chemicals etc., complete as per ISI 6313-1981 and. The antitermite chemicals used should have 0.5% concentration with 3L solution for the entire operation etc. as directed by the Engineer incharge and including cost of chemicals labour transportion etc.,

Stage:1 Spraying Anti-termite treatement chemicals solution for the foundation before laying the foundation concrete bottom and sides of the foundation.

Stage:2 Spraying anti-termite chemicals solution to the grade beams level spraying has to be done for the grade beams brick masonry in the superstructure in contact with back fill earth.

Stage:3 Spraying anti-termite chemicals solution on sand for the flooring before laying the flooring concrete. The treatment has to be carried out on the sand filling the basement after leveling operation is over.

Stage:4 Spraying anti-termite chemicals solution around the building outside of the building by making crow bar holes at an intervel of 12" to a depth of 8" around the building before laying the plinth projection. This holes has to be be closed after the treatment.

Construction of Granular sub-base of 150mm compacted thickness by providing laying, spreading and compacting of Close graded Material conforming to Grading V of Table 400-1 of MORTH clause 401 ,mixing in a Wet Mix Plant of 200 tonne capacity at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers withmotor grader o n prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller 8-10 tonne to achieve the desired density of 98% including protection of edges of GSB layer, cost of all materials, labour, hire charges of machinery, lighting, guarding, barricading maintenance of diversion road loading & unloading, all lead and lift etc., to achieve minimum CBR value of 30%(Compacted Thickness) in accordance with MORTH technical specification clause No. 401 and with all other incidental charges and as per the direction of the Engineer-In-Charge of work

Supplying and filling of Gravel / Good Earth by lorry in Foundation basement filling and site filling with approved materials excavation from approved quarries and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-1, 300-2 of MORTH, in layers not exceeding 300 mm loose thickness, spreading, breaking clods, removal of roots and other organic materials to the required line, grade and cross-section including watering, spreading by Dozer, grading by motor grader and consolidation by vibratory road roller with desired field density not less than 95% of maximum dry density ,including all lead,lift, loading, unloading, all labour, hire charges of all machineries, Transportation, etc., complete in accordance with MORTH technical specification clause No. 305 and with all other incidental charges and as per the direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.

Construction of Wet Mix Macadam 150mm compacted thickness in two layers by providing laying , Paving , and compacting of aggregate gradation satisfying to Table 400-13 of MORTH and satisfying he physical paraemeteres as per MORTH Table 400-12, mixing in a Wet Mix Plant of 200 tonne capacity at OMC , carriage of mixed material to work site and laid in sensor pavers tc the required line and grade as per the drawing and compacted with vibratory roller of 8-10 tonne to achieve the desired density of 98% of Maximum dry density and as per the direction of the Engineer In-Charge of work

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:4:8 ratio of (1 cement, 4 Msand and 8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) in foundation and basement including dewatering wherever necessary and laid in layers not more than 15 cm thick and consolidation etc. The rate includes the cost of materials, labour charges, lifting charges, loading & Unloading and Transportation etc., complete and as per the standard specification.

Providing Polymer Coating (Water Proof Coating) for sunken portion of toilet with following specification and the surface shall be cleaned to remove all dust, foregin, matters lose materials or any other deposits of contamination by rubbing with wire brush.Slurry: Dry blend and polymer liquid blend shall be mixed into the desired ratio as per recommendation of the supplier. The mix shall be stirred thoroughly until no bubbles remain in the mix. Any lumps found in mix shall be removed.Apply first coat of polymer modified cementitious slurry by brush on wet cleaned surface. Painting new iron works such as steel doors, windows, ventilators, window bars, balustrades etc., with two coats of best approved first quality and colour of synthetic enamel paint over the existing red oxide priming coat in all floors including cost of priming coat etc., complete complying with standard specification. ( The make quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the executive Engineer before use on works.)

Frames shall be provided with the following i) Back Plates- 3mm thick on all jambs with provision for anchor bolt fixing to wall openings. ii) Hinge plates 3 mm thick pre-drilled to receive approved type and make of hinges for screw mounted fixing iii) Factory finish-pre-punched cut outs to receive specified type & make of hardware and iron mongery. All cut outs including hinge plates, strike plates to have mortar guard covers from inside to prevent cement, dust ingress into cut outs at the time of grouting of the frame iv) Reinforcement pads for fixing of door closer, locks and handles at appropriate location as per manufacturer's detail v) Plug-in type rubber silencer not less than 2 mm dia shall be provided on the strike jambs for single shutter frames and on the head jambs for double shutter frames. vi) Frames shall be in knock down form with butt joints for bolted assembly at site or as per manufacturers specification with out visible joints/welding marks in frames.

c) Door Shutter : Shutters should be press formed with double skins to total thick as below hollow shutter with lock seam joints at stile edges using galvanized steel sheet of thickness specified below i) Fire Door-2 Hour raling 0.80 mm thíck (19 Gauge). -48 mm

Shutters shall be provided with the following i) No visible screws or fasteners on either face and Internal reinforcement shall be provided at top, bottom and stile edges for desired fire rating. ii) Factory prepared shutter with pre-punched cutouts and reinforcement pads to receive the approved type and make of Hardware and lron mongery iii) Pre-drilled hinge plates with hinge guard covers and shutters with locks to have concealed lock box with lock fixing brackets with pre-tapped holes and screws. iv) Reinforcement pad at appropriate location to receive the hinge, vision panel, flush bolt ,locks, Door closer, Panic Bar, etc. as per the approved type and make of Hardware and all as per manufacturer's design and conforming to Standards. v) Necessary provision / fixing arrangements shall be provided in the shutter as well as in the frame to receive / fix the Electro magnetic latch, Electromagnetic contact for hooter with reinforcement pads and in such a way to connect the same to the card access control system / IBMS.

c) Infill material: Honeycomb paper core as infll material and to be bounded to the inner faces of the shutter or as per Manufacturer's specification. Door should have been tested with Infill material proposed by the manufacture and the same should have been approved by CBRI / BFRC

d) Finish: Surface of the frame and shutter shall be cleaned suitably & thoroughly with solvents and as per manufacturer's specification. Apply Zinc etch primer coating as shop coat to receive additional coat of primer and top coats, apply stove zinc phosphate primer (35 microns DFT) DFT) as additional coat and finish the surface neatly with thermo setting polyurethane paint (35 microns DFT) of approved colour and make.

e) Installation : The frame and shutter shall be installed in position as per the methodology described in the Technical specification with necessary accessories, tools & Plants etc

f) Grouting: Frame shall be pressure grouted with cement slurry 1:3 ratio or filling the pre cast solid block core to the frame profile as approved. The surface after grouting shall be neatly cleaned and to be ensured that there is no scratch in the door frames after grouting. Back fll the frame through holes provided and insert plug in type nylon plugs after cleaning the surface and to suit the frame finish and colour.

H) Special Provision i) Provision / fixing arrangements to be made in the shutter as well as in the frame to receive / fix the Electro magnetic latch, Electro magnetic contact for hooter with reinforcement pads and in such a way to connect the same to the card access control system / IBMS ii) All the Materials and hardware specifications proposed for door shall conform to the codes, technical specification and preamble to the bills of quantities. iv) Quoted rate shall be deemed to have considered all the items covered in the specification and drawings, whether explicitly stated or not.
