Dismantling of existing brick on end edging complete in all respect as per PWD specifications.
Dismantling of flexible pavements thickness above 50mm by mechanical means and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 meters, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately as per technical clause 202 of MORT&H specifications
Scarifying existing bituminous surface to a depth of 50 mm by mechanical means (Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material with in all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres.) complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications
Excavation in Soil (any type) using Hydraulic Excavator CK 90 Excavation with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting trimming bottom with side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections including all lifts and combined lead up to 60 mtr.

Providing and laying bituminous concrete 40 mm thickness (Grading II) providing and laying bituminous concrete 30 mm to 45 mm thick with continous type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixied with bituminiouis binder VG-30 @ 5.4%, laying with a Paver inisher Mechanical to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 507 of MORT&H specifications:- NOTES:- (i) Job mix formula for the bituminous concrete shall be provided by the agency and shall be got approved from Punjab PWD, B&R Research laboratory Patiala before adoption at site for execution. (ii) The specifications of this item for analytic purpose is kept with bitumen content @ 5.4% weight of mix variation as compared with job mix formula shall be paid/ deducted accordingly. The limits of variations shall be worked out with the approved formula. TECHNICAL NOTE:- i.) Apart from the conformity with the grading and quantity requirement of individual ingredients exhibited above the mix aggregate i.e. coarse and fine aggregate for bituminous concrete shall meet all requirements set forth clause 507 of MORT&H specifications. ii.) The final grading for the aggregates required for bituminous concrete confirming to table 500.17 of MORT&H specifications shall be determined after getting the bituminous concrete designed from Punjab PWD, B&R Research Laboratory Patiala after obtaining 60% of material. The design mix so finally approved shall be termed as the approved mix. The aggregates shall be hydrophobic and of low porosity. The aggregates shall satisfy the physical requirement set forth in table 500-6 (addendum to latest revision). iii.) The approved mix shall exhibit the following details, source and location of all material:- (a) Binder expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (b) Course expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (c) Crushed bajri expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (d) Fine aggregate expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (e) A single definite percentage passing each sieve for mixed aggregates (f) Density of bituminous concrete after compaction will be not less than 2.35 gm/CC.

Supplying and fixing of single mould twin shank reflective Road Studs made out of poly carbonate/ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens or Glass Beeds capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values shall be as given in the detailed specifications and the product shall conform to ASTM D4280. The raised pavement marker shall also meet all the testing conditions of ASTM D4280 and fixed to the road surface using the adhesive. Two cylindrical Polymer Shanks of not less than 20 mm diameter and not less than 30 mm length shall be molded in the RPM body. The marker shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The marker shall withstand flexural strength of 909 kgf force in accordance with ASTM D4280. Marker lenses shall be moulded of Polycarbonate or methyl methecrylate conforming to ASTM D788. The supplier shall provide a 2 years warranty for satisfactory field performance as per clause 804.7.3 of MORT&H 5th revision specifications. as per CSR 24.63
