| 1Scope of Work/Technical Specifications etc. 1.Thorough Joint Cleaning: Ensuring that joint is thoroughly cleaned prior to welding is essential to achieve high quality welds. 2. Grinding of cracks for V groove preparation. 3. Crack removal Confirmation: It is crucial to confirm the complete removal of any cracks through DP test. 4. Preheating the joint: Preheating the joint before welding helps to prevent thermal shock and reduce risk of cracking. 5. Maintaining Interpose Temperature during 03 layer of welding of cracks: Carefully maintaining the interpose temperature is necessary to ensure the integrity of the weld. 6. Post- Heating the Weld Joint: Post-heating the weld joint after completion helps to relieve residual stresses and reduce the risk of cracking. 7. Conduct DP test-03 times (after root, after 03 layer welding, after final welding) per crack. 8. Conduct UT per crack to find hidden internal cracks, voids, and flaws in the welded joints. 9. Controlled Cooling rate: After welding is completed, it is imperative to properly cover the weld joint to control the cooling rate, preventing the formation of undesirable microstructures. 10. submission of report to Incharge Dragline. Note: Maximum deployement of manpower likely to be 1. Skilled Welder for 184 nos. of mandays, 2. Skilled Fitter for 184nos. of mandays and 3. Un-skilled helper for 184 nos. of mandays. Additional term and condition- a- Contractor shall be responsible for movement of their manpower with their vehicle. b- Contractor shall provide PPE to engaged manpower. c- Contractor shall be responsible for all statuary liability like safety of manpower, vehicle & machine, distribution of SOP to the personal engaged for the work and ensured its followability etc. | |||||
