Designing and fabrication of MS saddle to support suction pipeline from lift irrigation station to intake point by way of dismantling existing 40 ft suction pipe after cutting of damaged nuts and bolts. Stacking the pipeline at safe place. Fabrication of saddle support by using angle iron 50 x 50 x 6 mm under the pipe for support. Total length of angle iron required will be 200 ft. The saddle structure must be properly welded to withstand the weight of suction pipeline. The job included leveling of area below the supports of saddle and grouting the saddle with concrete mixture to support the weight of suction pipeline and vibrations. Installation of suction pipeline over the saddle with long boom crane, manual labour without damaging the fabricated saddle. Replacement of 6 no’s 300 mm diameter flanges on suction pipeline. Assembling of suction pipeline using new hexagonal nuts and bolts, rubber gaskets between all the flanges. Providing and fitting of new 250 mm diameter foot valve on the suction pipeline. Painting of suction pipeline and saddle with one coat of red oxide primer and coat of black enamel paint. Complete job includes cost of material, labor charges, painting charges, crane charges, charges of civil work.
