The following works are to be carried out under ETD- I, Moradabad.
Work of Transmission Lines Patrolling.
Regular tower to tower patrolling of following 132 KV transmission lines including checking of defects, like missing/ theft members of tower, hot points puncture insulator, dislocation of vibration dampers/loose conductor, earth wire of following lines patrolling shall be done bi-monthly. a) 132 KV Bilari- Chandausi line (19x6)=144Km. b) 132 KV line from M/S Rana Power Ltd. Bilari to 132 KV S/S Kundarki. (9x6)=54 Km. c) 132 KV line from M/S Rana Sugar Ltd. Shahabad to 132 KV S/S Bilari.(22x6)=132 Km.
Lopping, Chopping of trees in the 27 mtr. corridor of 132 KV lines and stacking of branches at proper place from the line
Fabrication & fixing of tower members including cartage of steel angle from substation store, punching of hole proper tightening of nuts & bolts punching and chamfering of bolts at different tower locations of above transmission lines.
Emergency tower to tower patrolling of above lines to detect fault location & type of fault.
Checking & Tightening of jumpers at tension tower.
Submitting of patrolling report on prescribed proforma in 05 sets after each patrolling.
Clearing of accumulated soil arround tower legs.
Clearing of nests from the above lines towers formed by birds
Hot Spot scanning, once a year before summer of all section tower jumpers of line including all mid span joints during load condition & providing report in hard copy of following Lines:-

132 KV line from M/S Rana Power Ltd. Bilari to 132 KV S/S Kundarki.
132 KV line from M/S Rana Sugar Ltd. Shahabad to 132 KV S/S Bilari.
