SPECIAL REPAIR TO CERTAIN STRETCH OF ROAD WITHIN RWA 03 AND RWA 04 LOC IN NEW MIL STN GANGTOK AND SPL REPAIR TO ROAD FROM MAIN ROAD TO MT GARAGE AREA AT FD WKSP COY EME UNDER GE GANGTOK

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, depth exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm and segregation materials stacking for reuse and remove from the site of work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 7.5 cm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM with Granite, trap or Basalt, coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required using 8-12 tonne power road roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairs to pot holes of depth exceeding 30 mm thick, area not exc 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads , paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, and making good by applying tack coat with paving bitumen grade 10 pack primer (VG-10) @ 5kg per 10 sqm putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder with paving bitumen grade 30 pack (VG-30) @9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced / new water bound macadam(WBM) surfaces by brushing with Wire Brushes for removing Caked, Mud, etc., Sweeping with Brooms and finally Fanning the Cleaned Surface with Gunny Bags to remove all loose dirts, etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of grade 10 Pack (VG-10) @ 10kg per 10 sqm over WBM surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade 30 Pack (VG-30) @ 4% by weight of total mix laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to12 tonne power road roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top road surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweepijng with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags / by mechanical means to remove all loose dirt etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bitumen primer using paving bitumen of grade 10 Pack (VG-10) @ 5 Kg per 10 sqm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi-dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen grade 30 pack (VG-30) by weight of total mix, mixed in mechanical hot mix plant and remixed material laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required compaction complete all as specified in the relevant clause of SSR Part-I (2009) and complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (a) Rate deemed to be included for making goods of any undulation / damages in wearing surfaces, where semi-dense asphaltic concrete to be laid. (b) semi-dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as specified and binder content shall be provided as per design mix, bidder shall quote his rates considering the bitumen contents as 5.5%.

M&L for Painting centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc with hot applied thermoplastic compound paint, n.exc 10 cm width confirming to MORTH specification machanically applied to from 2.0 mm to 2.5 mm thick filim on road surface including cleaning and drying the existing road surface to ensure dust, oil, grease and moisture free surface before applying the paint etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions and all as specified and directed.
