Dismantling existing unserviceable Aluminium conductors, steel reinforced (ACSR conductor) from overhead lines on LT poles, of any type and any size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Disconnecting and re-stretching ACSR conductor of any size and re-fixing with and including new 2mm dia aluminum binding wire complete all as specified. Note :- (i) The rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included for cutting / trimming of tree branches touching / approaching the LT over lines upto 3 metre width on each side with hacksaw / axe to clear the LT line including disposal of trimmed branches 100 metre away inside the cantonment area & cleaning site as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (ii) Length of each conductor shall be measured as one length.

Supplying, fixing & stretching aluminium conductor steel, reinforced (ACSR) of any size fixed on LT poles fixed on insulators and binding with & including 2 mm binding wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: - (i) The ACSR conductors shall be conforming to IS-398 (Part-II) and as specified in SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall also be deemed to include for supply and fixing of binding wire, aluminum tapes etc. which shall not be included in the weight of conductors for payment. (iii) Weight of conductors shall be determined by measuring the horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size multiplied by length of span and 3% extra shall be added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (iv) Weight of the conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS.

S&F in replacement shackle type insulators, vitreous porcelain white, brown or green for working pressure 1100 volts grade of 100 mm height and 115 mm dia including galvanized mild steel straps of 31mm x 5mm size,14mm dia insulator bolts, washers and nuts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement pin type insulator of size 100mm height, 65 mm dia porcelain, vitreous white, brown or green insulator suitable for 1100 volts grade including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two GI washer and one GI nut complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of poles etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angle and throating, necessary form work and fair finishing all exposed faces of concrete without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles, filling & mass concrete including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge .

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation for stays & mass concrete including necessary form work and fair finishing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of thermoplastic polycarbonate IP 65 outdoor type in accordance with EN 60 529 (dust proof, weather proof & water proof) power distribution board of suitable dimension, shock proof, rust proof, corrosion free, acid & chemical resistant, fire retardant & self extingushing, UV Resistant, silica and halogen free recyclable material, glow wire tested at 960⁰C in accordance with IEC 60 695-2-11. type tested as per IEC 61 439-1. total insulated with system. The manufacturer of board / panel shall submit a copy of ASTA certification by CPRI for the Degree of ingress protection in accordance with IEC 60529. The gasket material shall be polyurethane while the gasket shall be internally embedded including provision for taking incoming and outgoing cables duly marked with reveted letter plated of appropriate size for each feeder / block cable , danger board, detachable plate at bottom for cable entry etc. with bottom frame made out of angle iron 40mm x 40mm x 5mm and 600mm long 4 legs. The manufacturer of board / panel shall submit a copy of type test report of a board made out of polycarbonate thermoplastic panel in accordance with IEC 61 439-1. The report shall have mention of following tests performed and passed out satisfactorily:- (i) Tempreture rise. (ii) Dielectric properties (iii) Short circuit withstand current - rated peak & short time with stand current and rated conditional short circuit current. (iv) Efffectiveness of protective circuits (v) Clearance & Creepage distance (vi) Degree of protection (vii) Mechanical operation

Note : Excavation & earthwork shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ.
