Electromagnetic Flow Meter shall be a velocity sensing Electromagnetic type, microprocessor based signal converter, sealed housing, flanged tube meter for 1.0 Mpa working pressure,manufactured to highest standard available for mag-meters, equipped with minimum six digit digital totalizers, reading in units of (kilolitres/ cubicmeter) and shall be accurate within 0.5% of Measured value, shall operate within a range of 0.3m/sec to 4 m/sec and be constructed as follows:Meter tube (Sensor) shall be fabricated from stainless steel tube and use class PN10 flat face carbon steel flanges in accordance with IS 1538. These flanges shall be welded to the flow tube. The internal and external of the meter tube shall be blasted to near white and lined with hard rubber/ Polyurethrene/ PTFE preferably by SBR or EPDM. Meter tube shall have a constant nominal inside diameter offering no obstruction to the flow. The accuracy should be inclusive of linearity, hysteresis, repeatability, temperature and pressure effects Coil Housing shall be fabricated from stainless steel (SS 304) with Anticorrosive paint for corrosion resistance and welded to the tube providing a completely sealed environment for all coils, electrode connections and wiring harness capable of submerged or buried operation with IP 68 protection. Signal Converter shall be pulsed DC coil excitation type with auto zeroing. The signal converter shall be remotely mounted away from the meter. The converter shall indicate direction of flow and provide a flow rate indication and a total of flow volume for both forward and reverse directions. Excavating of driving pit and receiving pit of size 3.00m (length) x 3.50m (breadth), upto 5m depth in all soil strata including shoring and strutting using 6mm tk MS Plate of size 3.50m x 3.50m usable for 20 operations and providing 16mm thickness MS plate of size 3.00m x 3.50m with 100mm x100mm x 12mm angles of 4m length for holding the MS plates for Thrust arrangements to receive the impacts during pushing operation of encasing pipe. Lowering the following size of MS encasing pipe by using Contractor’s crane and machineries and jointing MS pipes by welding, across the National Highways/State Highways/ Railways/Canal crossing etc and driving the horizontal bore by pushing / jacking method (trenchless technology method) using contractor’s machineries such as cranes, jacks, jacking materials, generator, welding machineries, compressor, jack hammer and other equipments etc. without interfering and causing any hindrance to the movement of traffic or any other vehicles, without any disturbances to the railway/road/canal formation etc. including bailing / pumping of water where ever necessary without affecting any installation like water supply pipeline/telephone cable, electric cables etc. passing nearby area and scooping the earth inside the pipes and pit and depositing the surplus earth in a convenient place and leveling the site after completion of entire work as directed by Department Engineers. The rate includes the cost of driving pit, thrust bed/wall and receiving pit to the depth of om to 5m excluding the cost of MS pipes.

Supply and Delivery of MS pipes of preferred dimensions ranging from 168.30mm OD to 2540mm OD having 2.6mm to 25mm thickness as per Table- 5 of IS 3589/2001 fabricated with Fe410 grade steel conforming to IS 3589:2001 and other allied codes. Pipes shall be internally lined with plant applied cement mortar lining 1:2, The Lining thickness range from 6 mm to 12 mm for 168.3 mm OD to 2540 mm OD as per Table -8 of IS 3589:2001 Pipes shall be externally coated with plant applied CM 1:3, minimum 20mm thick including reinforcement as per clause A-9 of Annex-A of IS 3589:2001 etc., complete as per directed by Departmental Engineers.

The pump shall be with stainless steel shaft and dynamically balanced bronze mixed type impeller, CI FG 200 grade casing and brass screws and rotor shall be of copper rod as per IS 613/1984 with ISI mark.
