MAINTENCE AND OPERATION OF PUMP HOUSE NO 3 7 AND 11 INCLUDING SUPPLY OF CHEMICALS AND PERIODICAL CLEANING OF ALL TYPE OF TANKS AND ALLIED WORKS UNDER GE AF JORHAT

Maintenance & Operation of water supply Installation at Pump House No - 3,7 &11 round the clock in three shifts (each shift of 8 hours) in every pump house separately having installed electric driven Centrifugal Pump Set electric motor,IR plant, DG Set, Chloronome dozing plant, Water reservoirs, power panels, Sluice valve,Gate valve, Non return valve , by deployment of one skilled operating staff (FGM) for each shift including routine/preventive maintenance of complete installation, cleaning of surrounding of installation, building and minor repair of leakage by providing gland packing, replacement of glange gass kit and mentnance of control panel of DG Set/ Pumping set including replacement rewireable fuses, tightening loose connections etc. Contractor will employ one skilled manpower (ITI qualified) of desired trade per shift all as specified in Sch notes here in after complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. The cost of following routine/preventive maesures of above eqipment/plant are deemed to be included in the unit rates qouted against this item :-

(A). Pumping Set (i) Timely Bearing lubrication/greasing. (ii) Arresting leakage on pump set & control valve inluding replacement of gland packing if necessary. (iii) Regular checking of coupling bolts, nuts etc. (iv) Checking of Electric control panel such as tightening of electric connection etc. (v) Maintenance of daily log sheet (vi) Cleaning of plants/equipment and plant room

(B) Filteration Plant/chorination/sedimentation Tank & Reservoir (i) Maintenance of control valve, replacement of gland packing & providing greasing as and when required. (ii) Routine back wash of pressure filter as & when required. (iii) Checking proper dose of cholorination and maintening daily record. (iv) Recording of test results, Chlorine test kit and testing solution should be brought by the contractor and kept in the Pump House. (v) Proper maintenance of running/ maintenance records as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (vi) Cleaning of bleaching doser and connected accessories. (vii) Repair/replacement of gasket joints of filters & welding to MS pipe to arrest leakages. (viii) Labour only for Mixing/ dozing of Alum ferric, Alum Crystal, chlorination chemical and lime in water as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(C) DG Set (i) Checking of oil level of Diesel Engine & topup if low. (ii) Checking of water/coolent level of the rediator of the DG set & topup if low. (iii) Checking of Electrolyte in the Battery, Battery terminals & topup if low including providing petrolium jelly/grease as and when required. (iv) Checking battery charging with the existing battery charger/ alternator of DG Set. (v) Checking carbon brushes of alternator including electric connection and out put voltage. (vi) Maintenance/filing of daily log sheet NOTE:- 1. Rate quoted for above item is included cleanning , cutting grass, bushes in the permises of Pump House. The height of grass/bushes not more than 1" at any time. 2. Chlorination chemicals & DHPP shall be used under Sch "B" free for operation and contractor have to collect Sch "B" items in advance from MES store yard. 3. Rate quoted for above item is included cleanning , cutting grass, bushes in the permises of Pump House. The height of grass/bushes not more than 1" at any time.

Supply of Alum Ferric (AL²O³ of 15% to 16% concentration) with water in proportionate way for acheiving proper sedimentation of water at all time at Pump Houses as directed by competent authority for better sedimentation process at above installations (i.e. Pump house No 3), complete all as specifed & as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make : - ACURO ORGANIC LTD/MARUDHAR ALUMS CHEMICALS PVT LTD or as approved by E in C Branch. (Note- The charges of dozing/ mixing of chemicals are deemed to included against Ser Item No 1 of BOQ).

Supply of Alum Crystal of approved quality with water in proportionate way for acheiving proper sedimentation of water at all time at Pump Houses as directed by competent authority for better sedimentation process at above installations (i.e. Pump house No 3), complete all as specifed & as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make : - ACURO ORGANIC LTD/MARUDHAR ALUMS CHEMICALS PVT LTD or as approved by E in C Branch. (Note- The charges of dozing/ mixing of chemicals are deemed to included against Ser Item No 1 of BOQ).

Supply of Unslaked Lime ( Ca[OH]²) in poly bag container of 9 KG of approved quality with water in proportionate way for acheiving proper sedimentation of water at all time at Pump Houses as directed by competent authority for better Purification/ sedimentation process at above installations (i.e. Pump house No 3), complete all as specifed & as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note- The charges of dozing/ mixing of chemicals are deemed to included against Ser Item No 1 of BOQ).

Supply only of Calcium based High strength calcium HypoChlorite Granular type Chlorination chemical(chlorine contents not less than 65% ) disinfectant for water treatment. packed in 45 Kgs sealed drums. Make : Sree Rayalaseema/Acuro Organic Ltd or as approved by E in C Branch. (Note- The charges of dozing/ mixing of chemicals are deemed to included against Ser Item No 1 of BOQ).

Supply of Bleaching Powder of approved quality for cleaning/ washing the Surfaces of sedimentation tank, Floor area of pump Room , areation towers of PH No 03 during decaning/ refilling of fresh water in interval as directed by Engr In charge for better Cleanness of Tanks / Floor surfaces of pump room & Areation tower or indicated places complete all as directed & specified. Make :- SHRI RAM CHEMICAL / ADITYA BIRLA CHEMICAL OR AS APPROVED BY E IN C BRANCH. (Note- The charges of dozing/ mixing of chemicals are deemed to included against Ser Item No 1 of BOQ).

Notes :- 1. Material to be supplied against Ser No 2 to 6 above will be delivered at AGE E/M-II Store yard in sealed/intact packing. The same shall be accounted for under receipt voucher and shall be issued from time to time under Schedule ' B' for use (Transportation will be borne by the contractor from AGE E/M-II Store yard to Pump Houses). 2. Contractor must maintain the register for deposite/draw detail of chemicals duly signed by Contractor,JE E/M and Engr-in-Charge. RV/USR shall be entered in MB for accounting material.

Supply,fixing installing, commissioning and testing boosting monoblock pump house set 1 HP, self priming type 20/25 mm delivery and suction single phase 240 volt, 50 Hz having discharge 12.5 LPM at 20 Mtr head fixed on PCC foundation including necessary cable connection compete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning PS OVER HEAD TANK 9600 GALLON Capacity at 12.00 METRE high Stagging, located at PUMP HOUSE No. 3 & 7 by decanting Water, Cleaning of Internal Surface and Bottom of the Tank by scraping with Mild Steel Scrubbers/Brush, Rubbing down Scale, Dirt, Sludge, etc., Washing with Clean Water, Taking out and removing Mud, Dirts, Silts, Sand, Iron Deposits/Sludge, etc. from inside of the Tank and depositing at a distance not exc. 50.0 METRE away from the Tank, Washing Inner Surfaces with using Lime and Bleaching Powder and removing the same until clear water is obtained including Cutting of Bushes, Plants, etc., Cleaning of Drains, surrounding Area, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Cleaning RCC GROUND SEDIMENTATION TANK 40000 GALLON Capacity, Open Type, located at PUMP HOUSE No. 3 & 7 by decanting with water, scraping internal surface and bottom of the tank with mild steel scrubbers/brush, rubbing down scale, dirt, sludge, etc, washing with clean water taking out and removing mud, dirts, silts, sand, iron deposits/sludge, etc. from inside of the tank and depositing at a distance not exc. 50.0 METRE away from the tank, washing inner surfaces with using Lime and Bleaching Powder and removing the same until clean surface is obtained including cutting of bushes, plants, etc., cleaning of drains, surrounding area up to 3.0 METRE, complete all as specifed & as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Cleaning of RCC clear water TANK 15000 GALLON Capacity, Open Type, located at PUMP HOUSE No. 3, by decanting with water, scraping internal surface and bottom of the tank with mild steel scrubbers/brush, rubbing down scale, dirt, sludge, etc, washing with clean water taking out and removing mud, dirts, silts, sand, iron deposits/sludge, etc. from inside of the tank and depositing at a distance not exc. 50.0 METRE away from the tank, washing inner surfaces with using Lime and Bleaching Powder and removing the same until clean surface is obtained including cutting of bushes, plants, etc., cleaning of drains, surrounding area up to 5.0 METRE, complete all as specifed & as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Cleaning RCC Semi GROUND SEDIMENTATION TANK 50000 GALLON Capacity, Open Type, located at PUMP HOUSE No. 11 by decanting with Water, Scraping Internal Surface and Bottom of the Tank with Mild Steel Scrubbers/Brush, Rubbing down Scale, Dirt, Sludge, etc, Washing with Clean Water Taking out and removing Mud, Dirts, Silts, Sand, Iron Deposits/Sludge, etc. from inside of the Tank and depositing at a distance not exc. 50.0 METRE away from the Tank, Washing Inner Surfaces with using Lime and Bleaching Powder and removing the same until Clean Surface is obtained including Cutting of Bushes, Plants, etc., Cleaning of Drains, surrounding Area up to 3.0 METRE, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Item No. 11 here-in-before but RCC CLEAR WATER UNDER GROUND SUMP, 40000 GALLON Capacity, Covered Type, located at PUMP HOUSE No. 11.

Cleaning RCC OVER HEAD TANK 75000 GALLON Capacity at 12.00 METRE high Stagging, located at PUMP HOUSE No. 7 by decanting Water, Cleaning of Internal Surface and Bottom of the Tank by scraping with Mild Steel Scrubbers/Brush, Rubbing down Scale, Dirt, Sludge, etc., Washing with Clean Water, Taking out and removing Mud, Dirts, Silts, Sand, Iron Deposits/Sludge, etc. from inside of the Tank and depositing at a distance not exc. 50.0 METRE away from the Tank, Washing Inner Surfaces with using Lime and Bleaching Powder and removing the same until clear water is obtained including Cutting of Bushes, Plants, etc., Cleaning of Drains, surrounding Area, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Item No. 14 here-in-before but RCC OVER HEAD TANK 25000 GALLON Capacity at 12.00 METRE high Stagging, located at PUMP HOUSE No.11.

Taking down carefully electric driven centrifugal pump set 20 HP capacity including MS channels frame from foundation after disconnecting GI pipes/main electric supply from motor starter panel and keeping the MS channel frame at site for repairs/painting and carring the pump set to nearest repairing workshop including bring back after repair/replacement complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismentling carefully centrifugal pump 20 HP capacity and taking out all serviceable and unserviceable parts and cleaning/removing all dust particals such as mould and moss etc re-assembling the same after greasing the ball bearing including necessary gaskets etc and replacement of unserviceable parts. Note :- Materials required for replacement will be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

Dismantling carefully centrifugal motor 20 HP capacity and taking out the burnt/worn coils from the slots of stator and other accessories such as ball bearing and rotor and cleaning the stator slots and rewinding the same with new supper enamelled copper winding with appropriate gauge, heating, varnishing with doctor beck's insulating varnish and re-assembling the same and testing comissioning complete al as directed by Egr - in - chrage.

Labour only for lifting/lowering of U/S 12.5 to 15 HP capacity submersible pump set from tube well after disconnecting the electric supply and taking out one by one all column pipes flanged type 80 mm/boreeach pipe length 6.15 mtr long keeping serviceable fittings in safe custody for reuse/removing U/S materials from site/ making good disturbed surfaces and carring submersible pump set to nearest repairing workshop including bring back after repair/replacement and lowering the same after replacement unserviceable spare parts such as cloumn pipes flanged type 80mm dia and fixing with new rubber gasket/nuts/ bolts/washers of suitable size etc. including connection of electric supply to motor, testing/commissioning etc. complete all as directed and specified by Engr-in-Charge. Note. : Replacement of Column pipes shall be measured and paid seperately.

Dismantling carefully submersible motor 15 HP capacity and taking out the burnt/worn coils from the slots of stator and other accessories such as ball bearing/bushing and rotor etc . including necessay cutting/grinding/ drilling/ machining works for fixing of spare parts and cleaning the stator slots and rewinding the same with new supper enamelled copper winding wire with appropriate gauge, heating, varnishing with doctor beck's insulating varnish and re-assembling the same testing complete all as specified and directed

Dismentling carefully submersible pump 12.5 to 15 HP capacity and taking out all serviceable/unserviceable parts and cleaning/removing all mould/ moss/ foreign material scale and dirt etc. Re-assembling the same after greasing the ball bearing including necessary gaskets and replacement of underviceable spare parts all as directed . Note :- Materials required for replacement will be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

M & L painting of 20 HP capacity centrifugal pump set after removing old painted/rusted surface by paint removers with blow lamps, claming with scrapers etc over the surface of motor/ pump/chennal base of pump set and painting with two coat of grey synbthetic enamel paint on motor/pump body /two coat of red synthetic enamel paint on fan guard/two coat of black synethic enamal paint on base chennal frame over two coat of red oxide primer shall be painted with electrical spray machine all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for preparation of old painted surface of Air Compressor equipment body such as 3 HP capacity motor, air cyclinder and compressor etc. painting with two coat of grey synthetic enamel paint on motor/air cyclinder/air compressor body/two coat of red synthetic enamel paint on fan guard/two coat of black synethic enamel paint on base channel frame and shall be painted with electrical spray machine all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Comprehensive Maintenance of Air Compressor assy by Cleaning the whole body & Air tank, Oiling, Greasing,Tightening of all nut bolts if required, Minor repairing to Compressor Pump and Electric Motor including replace-ment of Spare Parts like V Belt /NRV,s of any size, Pully if required of any type etc. including repleacement of old oilSAE-90 and oter spares, complete all as specified and as directed.

Comprehensive Maintenance of Air blower assy by Cleaning the whole body & Air filter assembly, Oiling, Greasing,Tightening of all nut bolts if required, Minor repairing to Blower Pump and Electric Motor including replace-ment of Spare Parts like V Belt, Pully & 1" dia NRV,s if required of any type etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of BOQ.
