PAINTING OF RUNWAY TRACK, TAXI TRACK AND BAY MARKING INCLUDING DISPERSAL AREA AND OTHER MISC WORK AT AF STN CHANDIGARH

Surface derssing /Grass scraping not exceeding 15 cm deep and getting out in soft / loose soil along the runway shoulder including grass vegetation, shrubs and earth work from the edge of runway, taxiway, surrounding blast pans or similar work complete all as specified and directed. and removing the rubbish taken from the site and leaving out side of MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting one coat of water based paint after preparation of old surfaces as per manufacturer's instructions for making lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. on bituminous/ concrete roads, pavement, runways and other similar surfaces exc. 10 cm width or girth, with road marking paint/ traffic paint (water based) conforming to the requirements of IS-164 (1981) thickness in micron not less than 50 micron, white or golden yellow or any other shade approved by GE/Users by using air less spray machine Graco line 3900 with two guns and the maximum GPM (LPM) : 160 (6.0) PSI (Bar) 3300 (227) Engine CC (HP) 120 CC and maximum tip size : 0.029, complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for Water Born Paint (WBP) having DFT 240 micron thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade / colour using by fully/ semi automatic paint applicator machine ( using cold airless spray / striper machine with minimum two spray gun) including application of Drop on glass beads driven by experienced operator on road surfaces including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc complete and accordance with applicable specification on bitumenus surfaces / concrete by using air less spray machine colour of paint shall be white / yellow / Black / Red or any colour as approved by GE/Users on Taxiway / Dispersal markings exceeding 10 cm width or girth as per recommended dimension, application of the paint by Machine Graco line lazer 3900 with 2 guns and the maximum GPM(LPM) : 160 (6.0) PSI (Bar) - 3300 (227), Engine CC (hp) 120 cc and maximum tip size : 0.029, complete all as specified and directed. Note for item No 2 & 3: The work will be carried out by authorized applicator of Manufacture/Company as approved by the GE.
