The alternator shall be conforming to IS-13364

Note: The contactor shall produce a copy of approved certificate to authenticated the above from the OEM/OEAD. (E) Tool Kit:- Tool kit as supplied by the manufacturers alongwith the each DG set -01 set complete. (F) Maintenance Spares :- (i) Fuel filter element -02 Nos. (ii) Oil filter element -03 Nos. (iii) Element air cleaner outer -06 Nos. (iv) Element air cleaner inner -06 Nos. (v) V belt -02 Nos. (vi) Filter lubricant oil by pass -02 Nos. Note:- Quoted rates are deemed to be including the following:- (i) DG set shall be mounted on platform design given by manufacturer cost of which is included in overall cost. (ii) Manufacturers test certificate spare parts, catalog, manufacturers instructions and maintenance manual in original shall be supplied by the contractor with each DG set. (iii) The complete DG set shall be tested by rep of AO within overall cost quoted. All arrangements including POL shall be made by contractor. (G) DG sets shall be supplied alongwith acoustic original enclosure of the manufacture’s suitable for 20 KVA DG set as per CPCB norms.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth plate not less than 2.25 meters deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level, connecting to the Galvanised iron earth lead 4mm dia GI wire by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and earth wire protected by provision of GI medium grade pipe 15mm bore including M&L of concrete base in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates and making PCC pit 30cmx30cmx30cm (inner dimensions) fixed with angle iron frame made out of 40x40x6mm angle iron duly covered with 40mm thick cover RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4 kg/Sqm) and handle of 6mm dia MS bar made to shape light grade 20mm bore pipe for watering, placed on top edge of earth plate, earth electrode should be covered with layers of common salt and charcoal 15cm all around test point with providing & fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh complete all as shown on plate No-3, SSR-2009 Part-I and connecting to earth test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion. Note:- Item of earthing includes cost of 7.5m long galvanized iron earth lead (wire/strip) and protection pipe of 15mm GI medium grade and 20mm bore light grade pipe for watring. Any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order to be priced on SSR 2010 subject to enhancement by valuation of deviation percentage vide scheduled.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Diesel Engine/driven generating set of capacity 62.5 KVA (50KW), 415 Volt, 0.8 PF, mounted on base platform with flexible coupling, 1500 RPM, alongwith sound proof enclosure (Acoustic Enclosure) designed for reducing the sound level to 75 dBA (average) IS 10001/10002 Part-10 as per approved CPCB norms and as per GSR 371(E) and 17.05.2002 with silent pipe a silence muffer covered with asbestos rope 25mm thick independently supported from Engine to outside of power house upto 1.00 mtr. Arm pad, foundation as per manufacturer’s design, cold starting kit, Battery start with suitable size of standard cables for connecting from DG Set to panel board (DG set shall be capable of operating in temperature range of (-20 degree C to 35 degree C) complete with and including the following:- (A) Prime Mover :- Diesel Engine of suitable capacity not less than 83 HP water cooled (radiator type), closed circuit as per IS-100001/10002 or ISO-3046 direct inject type with turbo charger. Model S 3.8-G-7. The Diesel engine shall be capable of running 24 hrs continuously with 10% overloading for one hour in every 12 hrs. Engine shall be equipped with all standard fitting as per manufacturers recommendation and mounted on common base platform through flexible coupling with following accessories:-

(a) RPM cum hours meter. (b) Battery charging ammeter. (c) Ignition key and starting with push button switch. (d) Lubricating oil pressure. (e) Mechanical Governer controlling. (f) Toggle switch for idle running. (g) Oil temperature gauge. (h) Water temperature gauge. (j) Safety control (Trip) of the following:- (i) High water temperature. (ii) Low lubricant oil pressure. (iii) Over speed. (k) Lubricating oil heater to avoid freezing. (I) 12 Volts starting equipment comprising of the following:- (i) 1 Nos 12 Volts, 120 AH Batteries maintenance free type (Make-Exide type 25xnN 21 or equivalent as recommended by manufacturers) (ii) Battery charging alternator with inbuilt regulator. (iii) Self Starter motor of suitable capacity. (iv) Battery leads (copper stranded cable) of suitable size with brass thimbles and terminals.
