REPAIR / MAINT OF VARIOUS RUNWAY JOINTS INCLUDING JOINT FILLING, SURFACE REPAIRS AND CONNECTED WORKS NEAR RUNWAY AND LINKS AND WORK SERVICES FOR FACILITATING OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENT RELATED TO RRS ACTIVITY AT AF STN HASIMARA UNDER GE (AF) HASIMARA.

Note 1:- (Applicable for all parts/items) : The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender documents & all corrigendum/amendments and general condition of contracts before entry/quoting the rates. Note 2:- Attention to bidder is hereby invited to upload revised BOQ if published during their bid submission. Uploading of incorrect/ pre-revised BOQ shall be treated as non bonafide and rejected. Fixed credit has been given in technical documents which shall be taken into account during acceptance of bid/tender.

M&L for river bed material filling and levelling, spreading in layers n. exc 15cm thick watering, ramming/rolling and finished to required gradient, size and shape etc. not exceeding 1.50m above the initial level complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Payment shall be made or solid quantity arrived after consolidation. (ii) Before execution of this item river bed material shall be tested/checked for suitability to use.

M&L for Loose filling with aggregates of broken stone or boulders of gauge 80 to 150 mm as in craters formed complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidation on formation surface using vibratory roller capacity exc. 8 to 12 tones complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only sand for bedding layer 2-3 cm thick as per requirement over the broken stone or boulders layer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only 400 micron HDPE sheet polythene sheet to be spread over the sand bed upto 30cm pavement portion below 20-63 mm aggregates layer.

M&L for hard core of size 20-63mm broken stone or boulders deposited, spread in layers n exc 15 cm thickness, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

T&P for hiring Towing tractor including operator and fuel for one day.

T&P for hiring water bowser 9KL including operator and fuel for one day.

T&P for hiring JCB 4 CX including operator and fuel for one day.

T&P for hiring Hydra capacity 8 to 12 ton including operator and fuel for one day.

T&P for hiring Vibratory Roller/Compactor including operator and fuel for one day.

T&P for hiring Tipper 8.5 cum capacity including operator and fuel for one day.

T&P for hiring Mobile crane 5/6 ton (hydraulic) including operator and fuel for one day.

T&P for hiring Fork Lift Truck (3 ton) including operator and fuel for one day.

Semi-skilled labour for Aligning/Cutting/pouring Rapigrout cement into the chute of IMDM machine as well as pouring rapigrout mix to the crater already prepared throughout the work for one day complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The work shall be carried out on requirement basis during the contract period. (ii) The contractor to provide all necessary safety measures. (iii) The hole activity (Ser Item no. 01 to 15) including mobilisation of T&P and manpower (within 2 hrs) is to be completed within 08 hrs from receiving of message by Engr-in-Charge to successful bidder during any time of day and no extra claim shall be admissible an account of working timing. (iv) The successful bidder shall be stacking of material such as aggregate at BSO Yard or as per directed after the just commencement of work.

M&L for racking out construction joint of old existing sealant compound and back up rod of the existing joints by special tools like cutting blades/machine widening of joint by 2mm by using joint cutting blade of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air, joint shall be made dry, vaccume cleaned and free of dirt, oil vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before pouring the sealant thereafter filled with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 12 mm dia for complete length of the joint over it to be filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirement mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN -141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +-30%. Note:- The sealant compound shall be used as single compound.

M&L for racking out expansion joint of old existing sealant compound and back up rod of the existing joints by special tools like cutting blades/machine widening of joint by 2mm by using joint cutting blade of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air, joint shall be made dry, vaccume cleaned and free of dirt, oil vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before pouring the sealant thereafter filled with pre moulded 25mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified over it filled with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia for complete length of the joint over it to be filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirement mentioned in BS -5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accomodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% Note:- The sealant compound shall be used as single compound.

Racking out dummy joint of old existing sealant compound and back up rod of the existing joints by special tools like cutting blades/machine widening of joint by 2mm by using joint cutting blade of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air, joint shall be made dry, vaccume cleaned and free of dirt, oil vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before pouring the sealant. thereafter filled with pre molded 25mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as spd over it filled with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 8 mm dia for complete length of the joint over it to be filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirement mentioned in BS -5212 BS 4254 and EN -141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +-30%. Note:- The sealent compound shall be used as singla compound.

M&L for Washing, rubbing down and stopping of distempered and painted surfaces and preparation of old wall surface and applying one SQ coat of acrylic distemper surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
