Dismantling of existing electric passenger lift of capacity 10 Passenger/ 680 Kgs (Goods lift/ service lift) along with all connected electrical, mechanical connections including steel and civil work required for dismanlting and deposit to E/M yard as directed and clearing the shaft for any other obstruction and making good of any damage occur during dismantling for installation of new Lift in the existing shaft complete as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note : (i) Contractor will be making good, in case of any damage caused to surface of lift shaft & machine room during the dismantling at his own cost and no separate payment will be made on this account for civil work as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (ii) Civil work : Necessary Civil work such as scaffolding in elevator shaft, cutting, making holes, grouting/ welding barricading for all openings of elevators to avoid accidents & disturbances during pre and post erection of lift and making good disturbed surfaces, modification to landing space to suit to car size, necessary foundation to machine, plastering of lift shaft wall etc and two coats of white wash shall be applied on the lift shaft after completion of lift installation and all as per OEM recommendation/ suggestion during execution of work. (iii) Contractor/ OEM should follow all safety precautions/ accessories as per latest IS/ safety instruction while working on elevator. Quoted Rate against item shall be deemed to include the cost of the same.

NOTE :- Lift OEM to submit detailed specification/ design parameters, construction drawings of all components of lifts as per IS-14665 and as per latest amendement for approval of GE before execution of work. Engr-in-Charge shall ensure that detailed drawings shall be forwarded to GE for approval with recommendation within one month of issue of Work Order. Safety device : (i) Automatic rescue device (ARD)/automatic landing device to be operating with maintenance free batteries having suitable capacity. The batteries must have auto charging facilities. The charger input be connected with converter of Regenerative drive. (ii) The ARD actuation time should be less than ten second after failure of power supply and when ARD is operative the car should stop at the nearest floor and then open.

Machine room: Located above the hoist way . (i) Hoist way Constn; existing RCC structure with brick wall construction as existing at site. Total height from Ground Level to slab of Machine room can be seen at site.

(a) Provn of safety guarding equipments such as 02 Nos Pit switches controller guarding pit pulley, guarding pit ladders, fascia plate to cover free space between car cabin and hoist way & switches as per manufacturer/ OEM design. (b) Do's & Don'ts chart on stainless steel to be installed inside the car cabin. (c) Eavacuation process chart to be installed inside the car cabin. Incase when lift stuck in midway shaft, The letters/ Numbers in chart should be luminous radium coloured to see in all day/ night time. Note:- Contractor shall be responsible for providing breakdown maintenance and quarterly maintenance check of the lifts and intercom system all as specified in Sch 'A' notes and PS Clause also contractor will submit necessary MOU with OEM in this regard and a sum of Rs. 50,000/- as security deposit will be with held from the contractor's dues for duration of two years from the date of completion. This security shall be refunded to contractor after expiry of above stated period. Alternatively, contractor may give a interest bearing term depost receipt of Rs. 50,000.00 to GE valid for 02 years from the date of completion of work.

Material & Labour for earthing with Copper earth plate electrode of size copper plate 60 cm × 60 cm × 3.15 mm thick electrode and thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to the copper earth lead by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of Copper using 20 × 3mm copper strip as earthing lead as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/ loose soil, returning filling, disposal of surplus soil, earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate pit, funnel, 20 mm dia GI medium grade watering pipe, 40 mm dia GI medium grade earth lead protection pipe and pre-cast earth pit cover 80 mm thick made of RCC (1: 1:5: 3) type A-1 duly reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 100mm c/c both ways, one lifting handle made out of 10mm dia TMT bar 250mm long embedded in cover slab and cover, wire, copper lugs, etc, mest, charcoal and common salt in alternate layer of 15 cm thick including taking down old unserviceable earth plate complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note :- Each protection pipe and earth lead upto and including 7.50 M length is deemed to be included in unit quoted rate of this item.

Supply & fixing of Copper strip 20 x 3.00 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete from machine room equipment to earth pit complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, laying and testing LT cables, XLPE Insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty), 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 25 sqmm 4.0 core complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down carefully copper/ aluminium point wiring any type (light, fan socket or power) complete (fittings such as switches, ceiling roses pendants, regulators, sockets etc) and removing retrieved materials from site and making good disturbed surfaces of walls floors etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Point wiring with approved colour coded multi stranded copper conductor, PVC insulated and unsheathed FRLSH cable of size 1.5 Sqmm, 1100 volts grade, with two run of single core cable for phase & neutral and one run of single core multi stranded copper conductor, PVC insulated and unsheathed FRLSH cable of size 1.5 Sqmm, 1100 volts grade for earth continuity conductor to common earth and connected to earth dolly in and including new stove enamelled steel conduit for One light/ bell/ buzzer point controlled by one switch or one fan point controlled by one switch & fan regulator complete all as specified and as directed by engineer-in-charge. Note: Quoted rate shall be inclusive of making good the disturbed surfaces to match the original finishes surface and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L of Sub main wiring with two runs of single core PVC insulated and unsheathed multistranded, copper conductor (FRLSH) cable of size 4.00 sqmm, LT, 1100V grade, drawn through and including stove enamelled steel conduit of appropriate dia and one run of 4.00 sqmm single core multi stranded copper conductor cable as earth continuity conductor with accessories and fittings and connecting to existing main switch board/ DB and testing on completion including dismantling old unserviceable submain wiring complete all as specified and as directed by engineer-in-charge.

Note: 1. Two runs of cable, one run of earth wire and one run of stove enamelled steel conduit shall be measured as one run length. 2. Cable required for connection to DBs shall deemed to be incl in the quoted rates and shall not be measured separately. 3. Earth wire shall run inside the conduit pipe.

Cutting chases, pinning in. making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to ends or edges of inserting sheets, landings, steps, cills, sunshades, shelves, lintels, etc.; and cutting chases for concealed water tubing or concealed conduit wiring, etc., and making good, cutting not exc 10 cm girth complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of cubical type, CPRI approved, dust and vermin proof, factory made LT panel board, indoor type, front opening (double shutter) with locking arrangement of suitable size made out of 2.0 mm thick CRCA sheet (IS-8623) with 50mm x 50mm x 6mm angle iron frame duly painted with two coats of powder coated paint over a coat of red oxide primer on outer surfaces and epoxy paint on inner surfaces, protection class IP-56, grouted on floor. The LT panel board shall be suitable for operating on AC 415 volts, 3 phase, 50Hz, 4 wire system with suitable of PVC copper conductor for internal wiring, thimbles gland, cable lugs, nuts, bolts, washers, etc. including PCC foundation (PCC 1:2:4 type B-1) of suitable size as per panel board 0.5 Mtr above ground level grouting and bottom portion of enclosure shall be minimum 30 cm above ground level of legs of angle iron 50x50x6mm including taking down old unserviceable LT panel board with all accessories and supply & comprising of the following including internal pre-wiring complete:- 400 Amps capacity copper bus bar strip - 4 Nos. of suitable length.
