Eligibility:Procurement will be done from firms: (A) Firms which are registered with the Railway Board (Part-I items) at the time of tender opening date for the tendered item in their approved list. OR (B) Firms which are registered with the Railway Board at the time of tender opening date and having average last three years turnover of more than 1000 Crores will be eligible for bulk order. OR (C) Firms meeting the following conditions: - (i)Valid License to manufacture the drug. and (ii)Valid GMP Certificate and (iii)Five years market standing/manufacturing certificate by Drug Authority. Note: - 1. In this regard, the firm must attach the relevant documents along with their offer failing which offer will be summarily rejected without any further correspondence. 2. The product supplied must be manufactured at a unit inspected by Indian Railways and the name of the manufacturer must be disclosed by the bidder in their e-offer (for products manufacturing outside India, inspection of manufacturing unit is not require.

In terms of clause as per Para 2.4.3 of Instruction to Tenderers regarding restrictions on procurement form a bidder of a country which shares a land border with India. In keeping with the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017,as amended, the procurement is restricted from Class- I & Class-II sources as per Para 2.4.2 of Instructions to Tenderers for Electronic tenders ITT_Rev_1.21_April_2024 along with Correction Slip No.01. Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered, enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy.

Firm must mention the name(s) of specific stores of area where such drug is being sold in the open retail market by same brand name.

Firm should mention the detailed address of the manufacturing unit of the tendered item(s) along with their offer , for this purpose firm must submit the complete outer cartoon wherein the detailed address of the manufacturing unit along with MRP is visible.

i) The remaining Shelf life of the offered product should not be less than 80% of total Shelf life or it should not. be older than 06 months from the date of manufacture (whichever is more) at the time of supply. In specific cases, CMM/ PCMM may relax this condition on case to case basis with the written undertaking by the tenderer that they will replace unused quantity free of cost before the %E9xpiry of Shelf life of that item with fresh batch. i.a) Non-replacement on free of cost basis of such unused quantities shall tantamount to breach of contract and shall be reported to the Firm Registering Authority.
