BUILDING WORKS

Dismantling/ taking down existing hessain base felt or clay tiles or any other existing water proofing treatment from roof/ chajja including cement plaster, cleaning the surface and removing the dismantled debris to a distance exceeding 1.50 km but not exc 5 km to outside the MD land and laying water proofing membrane treatment using 4mm thick APP modified membrane consisting five layer membranes, weighing not less than 4.00kg/sqm laid over a coat of cold bituminous primer @ 0.40 kg/sqm by torching the membrane and sealing the overlap by 100mm length side and 150mm width side all as per manufacturer's instructions including joints and changes in direction be curved with 10mm thick cement mortar 1:3 mixed with SBR latex @ 2.00ml/bag of cement, curved well before laying of membrane, including applying two coats of solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.10 litre/sqm complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Irrespective of lap, the net covered area will only be measured for payment. (ii) Quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of bituminous primer, APP membrane, solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint and SBR latex.

M & L for provinding 25 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) on concrete surface over top of RCC roof using waterproofing compound as per manufacture instruction finished even and fair using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: Quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of cost of waterproofing compound.

Taking down cement plaster of any description on stone /PCC block /brick wall / top of chajja etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc and removing debris to outside of INS Mandovi Area including filling of open joints in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm (10+5) thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces of height upto 10 mtrs in cement mortar 1:4 in two layers i.e first layer 10 mm thick and 5 mm thick outer layer mixed with WPC as per manufacturer's instruction and finished surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement including necessary scaffolding complete all as specified and directed. Note: Quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of cost of waterproofing compound.

M & L for preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces and applying two coats of acrylic emulsion exterior paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 5 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces on soffit of chajja and roof projection in cement mortar 1:3 finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of newly plastered ceiling surfaces and applying three coats of whitewash complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces, priming the surface with alkali resistant priming paint, applying 1mm thick wall care putty and distempering with two coats of distemper oil emulsion, white or tinted complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for chipping, removing carefully concrete work using low impact hammer, breaking without damaging the structure, cleaning and disposing debris outside the premises complete all as specified and directed. Note: Hard concrete shall not be removed by force.

M & L for cleaning existing reinforcement with wire/ rotary wire brush, making the surfaces free of loose material, rust spalls, dirt etc, applying two coats of alkaline rust converting primer FEOVERT, confirming to ASTM-B-117, on rebars, with time interval of 6 hour between each coat) and applying protective coating of IPNET-RB complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, including ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete solid block masonry with solid blocks of PCC 1:3:6 type C1, 20mm graded trap agg, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections of 15 mm dia bore complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying of CPVC pipe SDR 11 & plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings of 20 mm dia on walls/ ceiling or laying in floors complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preperation of old decorated wall surfaces, ceiling cornices etc by brooming, scrapping down dust particle, smoke soot, moulds, moss and efforescent salts etc, making surface smooth by applying ready mix putty where ever required and applying one coat of acrylic emulsion exterior paint complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/ slabs/ blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Gl frame work for seamless ceiling comprising of Gl perimeter channnel 0.55 mm thick with two unequal flanges of 20 and 30 mm and web of 27 mm fixed to surrounding wall using nylon sleeves and screws at 450 mm centre to centre/intermediate channel 0.9 mm thick having two equal flanges of 15 mm each and web of 45 mm suspended from soffit at approx 900 mm centre to centre with Gl cleat and steel expansion fasteners with and including ceiling section (not exc 1.2 m length) of 0.55 mm thickness having kurled web of 50 mm and flange of 26 mm each with lips of 10.5 mm fixed to the intermediate channel with connecting clips across the intermediate channel at 457 mm centre to centre complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing 8 mm thick non-asbestos fibre cement building boards, fixed or laid/ inserted to timber/GI/Aluminium framework with screws complete all as specified and directed.

Making good under cills or over arches, lintels and bressummers, in cement mortar 1:4, including all pinning when necessary complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted wooden surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION

Taking down copper/ aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, light fitting etc. and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc to match existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully by disconnecting supply, unscrewing ceiling light fittings or tube light fittings of any type for reusing at site after completion of ceiling work complete all as specified and directed. Note: Fittings to be deposited in MES store yard for safe custody.

Fixing only ceiling light fitting or tubelight fitting those removed already for reusing at site including connecting up with existing supply complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for point wiring complete with 1.5 Sqmm 1100 volts grade single core PVC insulated FRLS unsheathed cable with multistranded copper conductor confirming to IS-694, Part II, ISI marked, drawn through and including medium grade PVC casing capping of suitable size, with all accessories, over the wall/ ceiling, sunken switch / terminal box 1.12 mm thick, suitable for 3mm thick laminated hylem sheet top cover fixed with chromium plated brass screws for fixing switches, sockets, regulators etc., and including providing 1.5 sqmm 1100 volts grade single core PVC insulated FRLS unsheathed cable with multistranded copper conductor in green colour as earth continuity conductor connected to common earth dolly for the following complete all as specified and directed. Note: Quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of cutting chasis in wall/ floor/ ceiling and making good disturbed surface with PCC work and paint etc.

S & F ceiling fans, for 230V 50 Hz AC, 1200mm sweep, white colour, alongwith neccssory accessories like down rod, blades, electronic step type regulator etc including connecting with 3 core flexible wire from ceiling fan to ceiling rose and marking of MES No and taking down unsv fan and depositing in MES store yard complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs MCB's (D.B), vertical type, double door, TPN 4 way, 415 Volts, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for submain wiring with 4 runs of 6 sqmm single core multistranded PVC insulated unsheathed cable 1100 Volts with copper conductor and one run of 6 sqmm single core PVC insulated unsheathed cable 1100 Volts with copper conductor as continuous earth wire drawn through and including rigid PVC conduit of suitable size concealed in wall with all accessories such as tees, elbows, junction boxes, reducers etc as required and connecting to existing main switch board/ distribution board and testing on completion including taking down old submain wiring complete all as specified and directed. Note: 4 runs of 6 Sqmm cable, one run of 6 Sqmm earth wire and one run of PVC conduit shall be measured as unit run.

S & F in repairs switch piano, 5 amp, single pole, one way, flush type, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs switch socket combination 5 pin and 5 Amps 230 volt 50 HZ AC, flush type complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs square shaped LED light fitting of 12 watt, 220 volts AC, recessed type with high efficiency PMMA diffuser, soft glare free, false ceiling light fitting complete with drivers including connecting to existing supply with suitable fixing accessories and three core flexible copper conductor cable of suitable size complete all as specified and directed. Make: Bajaj BPSLR 12W WH PRO SQ or equivalent

M & L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 m below ground level, with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected to 4mm dia GI earth wire by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised steel including neccessary earthwork and excavation in any strata, PCC chamber in PCC 1:3:6 type C2, 20 mm dia light grade GI pipe for protection of earth strip and GI wire, chamber cover etc all as per electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I including connections with earth testing point complete all as specified and directed. Note: On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, earthing shall be redone at no extra cost.
