SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (B/R PORTION)

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 30 mm consolidated thickness using 5.5% paving bitumen content (VG-30) and minimum 2% cement as filler by weight of total mix, using hot mix plant and laid with self propelled mechanical paver fixed with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to uniform surfaces with required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Semi Dense asphaltic bituminous concrete (SDAC) shall be designed as specified and binder contents shall be provided as per design mix.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne power roller consolidated to average thickness 75 mm or less using binder content bitumen of grade VG-30 of 4% by weight of total mix all as specified and as directed. Note:-(i) Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ of Rs 50.00 per kg of binder. No adjustment in price shall be made if the variation is on plus side. (ii) The bituminious mix shall be prepared in hot mix plant and transported to the site in clean vehicle and shall be laid by means of a self-propelled mechanical paver finisher with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls all as directed.

M&L for repairs to potholes of any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to atleast 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen of grade VG- 30, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen of grade VG- 30, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm , rolled and compacted with 8-10 ton power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repair to potholes of any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing new or previously treated road surfaces to receive painting and painting lines, dashes, arows, letters etc on road, pavement and the like to delinate the roads properly and indicate warnings and directions using White/Yellow thermoplastic road marking paint @ 5kg/sqm, mixed with glass beads @ 250 gm/sqm, overall thickness 2.5mm, applied by mechanical means i.e. dispenser machine complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix cat eye duel directional glass beads reflector body material ABS plastic of size 117 x 117 x 23 mm, reflector 19 or 21 Bi convex glass element on each side, compressive strength upto 35 Tons yellow colour body with red reflector confirming to IRC-67-1977 as approved by GE and fixed to road surfaces as per manufacturers instruction/recommendation complete all as directed. Make : DARK EYE/3M/ENNIS/Green Lite.

Supply and fix Road stud duel directional glass beads reflector body material ABS plastic of size 135 x 105 x 25 mm leg 50mm with aluminium frame and compressive strength upto 30 Tons, Yellow/Silver colour body with Red reflector conforming to IRC-67-1977, solar panel 0.3 watt 45x65 mm to be operated on one Ni-Mh rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 800mAh), wter proof more than IP 68 fixed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed. Make : Dark Eye /TATA BP/ Solar/3M.

S&F tubular delineator made out of 50mm bore GI pipe medium grade with total height of 900mm, Black colour powder coated, High intestity reflective taping at top and three bands of 25mm width white reflective tape on pipe, metal jali to protect the reflective tape including necessery fixing arrangement in PCC (1:4:8) type D2 foundation of size (0.3x0.3x0.4)m, excavation, return filling and removal complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of plain cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Road safety convex mirror of Model No OS-790, Make - OSCAR Safety Solutions of dia 800mm, mounted over stainless steel pipe of 40mm bore 304 grade, 2.5m long of approved make complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes (pressure rating 6.5 KGF) single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls or as in spout pipe to sides of road berm complete all as specified and directed.
