SCHEDULE 'A' B/R Works

Dismantling wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc) or insulation boards/slabs/blankets any thickness including cover fillets fixed in any position with nails fixed with screws complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing anodised aluminium snap grid frame work of size of grid 605 x605mm for false ceiling including necessary notching and prepared holes, the snap grid shall consist of anodised aluminium main tee of size 36.5mm x 25mm x 1.4mm weighing 0.24 Kg/RM, cross and Intermediate tee of size 23.5mm x 26.4mm x 1.4mm weighing 0.191 Kg/RM. The main and cross tee shall be jointed at junction with steel screws or MS bolts, nuts and washers, the snap grid (main / cross tee sections) shall be supported at ends all along the wall with anodised aluminium angle of size 35mm x25mmx 2mm weighing 0.36 Kg/RM fixed to wall with suitable arrangement and duly suspended with 4mm GI wire hangers (upto 1200 mm length) adjusting level fixed to roof slab by means of ceiling cleats made of GI flat 40x3mm size 60mm long and expansion hold fasteners 12.5mm dia 40mm long including providing 12mm thick gypsum board in grid fixed in false ceiling grid made of aluminium as per above specifications complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling plain or corrugated asbestos cement sheet (corrugated/semi corrugated) including ridges as in roof covering complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including nainital or similar pattern roof covering, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling framed trusses tubular type/angular truss type span not exceed 10 metre, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling timber scantlings 40 Sq.cm and over in section, in any position (unframed work), complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing Pre- painted galvatume aluminum zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick, any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in ridge (including cutting and bent to shape), roof covering, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing 0.63mm galvanised corrugated mild steel sheeting with two corrugations side lap, fixed with L type or J type or cranked hook bolts, in roof, walls etc. with grade of zinc coating 275, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing 0.63mm galvanised plain mild steel sheeting, in ridges, hips, vally gutters, drip and straight flashings (length and girth as fixed), fixed with L type or J type or cranked hook bolts, in roof, walls etc. with grade of zinc coating 275, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing 6mm thick asbestos cement, corrugated or semi-corrugated sheets in roofs, wall etc.,) fixed with L type or J type or cranked hook bolts, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing asbestos cement two piece adjustable serrated ridge for corrugated or semi-corrugated sheets, fixed with L type or J type or cranked hook bolts, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, in any description including cleaning and stacking serviceable brick for re use and balance removing rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster from brick wall etc including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for mild steel work tubular poles/post including special shaped washers etc., complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to latest relevant IS grade St-240, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for second class hardwood in timber scantling clean sawn and fixed (unframed work), complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls/pillars /cornices by brooming down with using broom/sand papering or by any other means, and preparing the surfaces smooth by applying white cement based putty to make the surface even and smooth by using sander machine (with provision of dust sucking) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, and after preparing the surfaces applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper (washable), as approved tint/colour by using paint roller brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness below or above ground level of any description and in any position including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direcction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for Non Skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8mm thick square or rectangular area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, as in floor set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer (screed) in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for vitrified ceramic coloured tiles (dark shade, jointless) 8 to 10 mm thick square or rectangular area of each tile exceeding 0.18 sqm but not exceeding 0.36 sqm, as in skirting, dado etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer (screed) in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking up or down existing galvanised steel water tubing (GI pipe) 15mm bore including fitting/connection from wall/ceiling/floor/concealed etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing galvanized steel tubing (GI pipe) medium grade 15mm bore ISI marked with all new fittings like elbow, tee, union, socket, reducer etc. and fixed complete to walls, ceiling and laid in floor or concealed in walls including cutting chases in wall (as directed ) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls including cutting and threading of pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing in repair vitreous China squatting pan 'Orissa' pattern white of size 580mmx440mm with integral foot rests (excluding flushing cistern, flush pipe above floor and trap), including demolation of tile, PCC, taking out old WC, taking out lime concrete filling and after fixing new WC re filling lime concrete (1 lime, 2 sand or surkhi and 5 aggretate), min. 150mm thick all round and finished just below level of rim of pan to receive the floor finishing, including fixing PVC flush pipe upto finished floor level, joints of flush pipe and trap make leakproof and testing before filling concrete and including all other connected work as required upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. (NOTE : Tile work with screed shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this schedule.

Supply & fixing in repair, vitreous china wash down water closet pan (pedestal pattern, EWC) white clour (excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe) including connection to drain and to flushing pipe anti syphonage etc., including plastic water closet seat with cover (white clour) closed pattern with flat bottom and mild steel chromium plated or aluminised hinging device including stainless steel chromium plated jet spray with 01 mtr long PVC pipe with CP connector and necessary nut bolts and with necessary CP screws and plug for fixing WC complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing in repair, vitreous china wash basin, white, flat back of size 550mm x 400mm, including 32mm chromium plated waste coupling and PVC waste pipe including bracket and cutting for and pinning in end of bracket or erecting including fixing only pillar tap (new or serviceable old pillar tap as per site condition ) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Pillar tap if required in replacement, shall be measured & paid separately as under appropriate item of BOQ.)

Supply & fixing in repair, 10 litres capacity PVC valveless syphonic action type low level flushing cistern white with inlet, ball valve, float, handle including brackets and 32mm dia PVC flush pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in repair, bib tap cast copper alloy, chromium plated with crutch or butterfly handle with capstan head, wall flange, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Supply & fixing in repair, concealed stop cock cast copper alloy, chromium plated, fancy type, long shank and cup, screwed both ends suitable for 15mm bore iron pipe complete, all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of stop valve/stop cock shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Supply & fixing in repair, stop valve/angle valve cast copper alloy, fancy type, chromium plated with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down, screwed both end for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.
