REPAIR MAINT TO SUNKEN FLOOR TREATMENT ROOFING FALSE CEILING SANITARY FITTINGS AND INCLUDING CERTAIN ELECTRICAL REPAIR WORKS

Treatment of the sunken floor slab comprises of the following specifications and all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make :- Dr Fixit/ M/s Sika india Pvt Ltd/ STP Ltd/ M/s Fosroc Chemicals

(a) Demolition of cement concrete filling of any description in sunken portion in toilet and removing debris outside MD land.

(b) Cleaning the sunken/ lowered portion of RCC slab surfaces (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. Provinding 40mm thick avg thickness PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate as in padding conc to achieve proper slope including cutting holes in bricks or RCC wall for spout (WPC shall be measured and paid separately)

(c) Rendering of uneven surfaces with 10mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 3% by wt of cement consumed. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage. Where dampness/ seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out. (WPC shall be measured and paid separately).

(d) All junctions points of side wall spout where CI/ GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty.

(e) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean.

(f) Material and labour for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacture's instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level+100mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion complete all as specified and directed (This item shall be measured and paid separately).

(g) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @3% by wt of cement consumed as per manufacturer's specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. (WPC shall be measured & paid separately).

(h) Material and labour for PCC 1:5:10 type E2, using 40mm graded aggregate n exc 150mm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

(j) Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate, 50mm tnick, complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- Test the water proof area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage, seepage to the entire satisfaction of GE. Test shall be done in presence of Reps of Engineer-in-Charge and contractor. The treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicator of chemicals. Cost of testing is included in the unit quoted rate above.

Supply Only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed. Make:-Dr. Fixit Pidi Proof and equivalent.

M&L Repair of leakage/seepage from the Nahani trap/ floor trap of kitchen/ bathroom/ washbasin of the upper Qtr, in any position at any height, complete including change of floor trap, PVC horinzontal pipe embeded in floor in bathroom or kitchen making good to the damaged portion of flooring, laying and matching of tiles in the existing flooring, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L Repair of leakage/seepage from the wall/ door bend /door tee/ 'Y' junction/ 'T' Junction of soil pipe / waste pipe/ vent pipe of kitchen/ bathroom/WC of the upper Qtr or at the ground floor Qtr including change of any damaged soil waste pipes or fittings of any shape, specification and size, making good to the damaged portion of wall with brick work in cement mortar 1:6 or cement concrete 1:2:4 and plastering to wall in CM 1:4 and finished the surfaces matching to existing wall, complete to avoid the leakage/ seepage at the site of work as directed and as specified.

Note for item No 13 & 14 :- (a) Find out main cause of leakage and take necessary steps to resolve / rectify. (b) Replace existing tiles in case leakage through NT/FT. (c) The rate also include provision of new NT/FT. (d) The unit rate is also deemed to be included for reqd bonding chemicals to arrest the leakage/seepage as directed by the manufacturer's specification. Supply and fixing 15mm bore galvanized steel water tubing, medium grade with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors including taking up or down 15mm bore steel tubing galvanized and connection, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 20 mm bore galvanized steel water tubing, medium grade with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors including taking up or down 20mm bore steel tubing galvanized and connection , complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 25 mm bore galvanized steel water tubing, medium grade with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors including taking up or down 25mm bore steel tubing galvanized and connection, complete all as specified and directed.

Petty repair to internal/external inlet water GI/CPVC pipe line of any size coming from over head tank to the quarter including socket,elbow,nipple ,with repair to water blockage , pipe line leakage, cleaning internally , removing of air/dust blockage including concealed water tubing etc n exc 3m length of any height using scaffolding and and making the water supply functional, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying of 20mm outer dia CPVC pipes SDR 11 & Plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings on walls/ceiling or laying in floors complete all as specified and taking out steel/plastic/CPVC water tubing and connections including cleaning for refixing 15 mm/20mm dia , all as directed..

Supplying and laying of 25mm outer dia CPVC pipes SDR 11 & Plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings on walls/ceiling or laying in floors complete all as specified and taking out steel/plastic/cpvc water tubing and connections including cleaning for refixing 25mm dia,all as directed.

Supplying and fixing in repairs of 20mm outer dia Female Brass Threaded Adaptor (FTA/ FBTA CPVC, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing in repairs of 25mm outer dia Female Brass Threaded Adaptor (FTA/ FBTA CPVC, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing in repairs 20mm outer dia CPVC brass elbow , complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises and M&L for Joint free Non - skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile of size n exc 0.18 Sqm in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:4), complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises and Material and labour for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles 350x250mm/ 450 x 300 mm x 7/8 thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with tiles on vertical surface such as skirting/ dado including 10mm thick 1:3 backing coat, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 25 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in flooring surface and smooth without using extra cement, including demolition of existing cement concrete & including disposal of demolition material upto MD land, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- In - charge.

Complete removal of existing water proofing treatment of any description and in any position including PCC padding of any thickness and cleaning, wire brushing, watering & removal of debris outside MOD, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- Unit rate quoted shall also include for removal of PVC water storage tank wherever existing carefully and refixing at the same or other position after completion of roof repair work

M&L Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out and filling solidly with a hot mixture of bitumen and clean dry sand 1:1 (by weight).

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floors by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dusts etc,, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brushing with neat cement slurry @ 3kg/Sqm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in concrete padding laid to required slope incl finishing the concrete surface fair and even without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 10 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of mortar in cement mortar (1:4) for laying roof finish as padding finished with WPC @3% by weight of total cement, complete all as specified and directed NOTE :- Integral WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Apply oil bound bitumen primer @ 0.40 Litre / Sqm manufactured by the same agency as that of APP with density of 0.87 to 0.89 Kg / Litre at 25 degree Celsius on the prepared dry roof surface.

M&L APP polymeric membrane min weighting 3.0kg/Sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (wt not less than 150 gms/Sqm laid on primed surfaces by torch application method complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new roof surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of solar reflective aluminium paint @ 0.10 Kg/Sqm of membrane surfaces complete all as specified and directed

Supply Only water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing Anodized aluminium of size 605 x 605 mm snap grid frame work for false ceiling as per manufacturer instructions, with hangers of 6 mm dia. G.I. (up to 1200mm length) adjusting level fixed to roof slabs by means of ceiling cleats made out of G.I. flat 40 x 3 mm size 60mm long and expansion hold fasteners 12.5mm dia. 40mm long and 6mm thick Non asbestos fibre cement building boards, fixed to sheet suitably placed in false ceiling grid made of Aluminium/G.I./ M.S.as per specification and drawing and including dismantling old unserviceable wall and ceiling board & including frame of any type and description, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent , trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat OF oil bound distemper, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Plate rack of size 65 cm x 96 cm made of stainless steel fixed in repairs,, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F sinks made of stainless steel 1mm thick kitchen or laboratory with plugs, washers and wastes; including bedding in cement mortar on dwarf wall or including fixing cantilever brackets and connecting union to pipe, overall size 495mm x 420mm bowl size 410mm x 330mm x 160mm fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour for preparation of new steel surfaces and iron work of any description over 10cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent , trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat of cement based paint, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 32 mm bore Waste Coupling fittings, brass, chromium plated for glazed ware sinks, basins, etc. with long screwed shanks and fly-nuts, flange end bedded in red lead cement and other end fixed including taking down existing one, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- In - charge.

Petty repairs to refixing the existing Wash hand basin and Sinks made of stainless steel 1mm thick kitchen flat back with and including fixing cantilever CI/Angle iron brackets embedded in concrete block including connecting waste coupling 32mm bore, including bedding, waste fitting, waste pipe in cement mortar on dwarf wall and connecting union to pipe, filling gap in white cement and all necessary fittings to fixed in repair (including taking down and refixing the same position) complete all as directed.

Rope will be HDPE double core of 4mm dia fixing to ceiling as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge and minimum weight of one pipe shall not be less than 0.20kg/, minimum weight of rope shall not be less than 7700Gms/unit .

Supply and fixing in repairs 20mm dia gun metal gate valve with iron wheel screwed both ends for iron pipe , complete all as specified and directed.D82

S & F in repair Ball valves 25mm bore high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high-density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe & fixed. (minimum weight -210 gms) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick,Plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), as in plinth protection courses, top surface of concrete finished even and smooth with out using extra cement, including expansion joint 10mm thick filled with mastic filling comprising of 01 part of heated blown bitumen and 3 parts of dry sand including demolition of existing cement concrete including disposal of demolition material upto MD land complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- In - charge.

Material and labour for Removing plant/Uprooting of vegetation growth including roots on wall/roof/parapet near pipes etc and applying acid treatment after removing roots for preventing regrowth and making good disturbed surfaces/area in superficial area exc 150 Sqcm but n.exc 400 Sqcm and averaging depth not exceeding 10 cm by using PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) or 10mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:3 as required and finishing the surfaces to match with the existing surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 79 :- (a) Rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to inclusive of double steel scaffolding. (b) Contractor shall provide safety gears to his workers at his own cost and safety pre caution to avoid accidents.

Material and labour for Dismantling the existing unserviceable gully trap including chamber and material and labour for provision of salt glazed stoneware gully trap, square or round mouth type "P" of size 180X150mm, including setting and jointing in cement mortar 1:1 plain cement concrete base in PCC 1:2:4 type B1, brick work in cement mortar 1:4 rendering in cement mortar 1:4 all around finished even and fair using extra cement RCC cover slab in RCC type B1, 1:2:4 with 6mm dia reinforcement etc, complete all as specified and as directed

Grinding of existing mozaic/kota stone/tiles in wall/flooring including mirror polishing, cleaning of tiles/granite and joints filling and apply white cement, including grouting of floor trap surroundings with white cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Repair, maintenance and making the continuity of supply after rectifying the defects of the electrical items such as light point, fan point, call bell point, socket point 5A/15A, switches, sockets, regulator, lamp holder, brackets, bell, buzzer, push button, batten, ceiling rose, pendent, any type of MCB's, DB's any type of light fixtures, any type of lamp, ceiling fan, exhuast fan, geyser, capacitor, replacement of fuse wires and all elcectrical accessories in day to day/door to door maintenance including reconnection with S&F small pieces of elctrical cable of size upto 10 Sqmm single core and length not exceeding 0.50m, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Any major items required to be repaired/replaced will be measured and paid under relevant items as supply only.Cost of labour for replacement will be deemed to include in the unit quoted rate.

Note for item No 83 :- (a) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced to Engr-in-Charge before commencement of work.

(b) All bldg light complaints including service connection, sub main & internal electric for entire OTM and Md accn at AF Stn Jalahalli West shall be attended

(c) Record of complaints/complaint slip showing qtr No, bldgs No, nature of job supported with users signature shall be prepared as per format as directed by Engr-in-charge & will be deposited to concerned JE E/M within 24 hrs.

(d) All sort of petty T&P items such as PVC insulation tape, ladder, galvanised screws, nuts, bolts, washers etc. required to accomplish the job shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to deptt.

(j) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(k) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Cahrge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent/ routine nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor shall be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(l) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH valve should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm should be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( copper strip upto 7.5 RM will be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concern.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall given a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing per each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xix) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xvii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuity of material.

(xviii) Sign board of mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one all as directed. NOTE : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

(c) Earth resistance tester shall be provided by the contractor. It should be caliberated from authorised company/ lab. (d) After testing if desired earth resistance of less than 5 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is obtained.
