The M.S. flanges are to be provided 1% of total joints as per table below conforming to IS 6392-1971 ( Latest upto date amendments ) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S nuts and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing geskets sheet not less than 3 mm thick as per IS; 2712-1965. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in three layers(Two inner & one outer) to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer - in -charge. Capacitor of Mechell/BHEL/GEC/ L&T make as per IS ; 2834-1968 with upto date amendments,to raise the power factor at site to 0.95 for direct connections to induction motor individually of required KVA rating according to H.P. offered including cables as per relevent ISI code ( of Seimens / Glocter/IEC make ) from bus bar chamber to capacitor as per IS : 4064-1978 with upto date amendments .
Providing suitable ATS starter of L&T/Hevells/Kilburn make as per IS: 8544-1979 with upto date ammendments for squirrel cage/slip ring motor mounted on panel board with magnetic type overload release and dashpot, time lag, under voltage release with or without initial oil filling as the case mayu be with single phase preventor as per IS 1248 (P-V)-1983 with upto date ammendments.
Providing and fixing of double flanged cast iron sluice valve of kirloskar/Leader / Kartar/LP/Suchdeva/RG or any approved make for suction pipe and capable of withstanding the normal seat pressure as per IS 780-1984 with latest ammendments.
Providing and fiximg of double flanged Cast steel Sluice valve of Leader/Kirloskar RG/Suchdeva any other approved make of 150 mm dia for the delivery pipe of pump and capable of with standing the normal Seat Pressure as per BIS 1414 API 600 (Cast steel) as the case may be with latest ammendments.
Providing and fiximg of double flanged Cast steel double flanged reflux valve of Leader/Kirloskar RG/Suchdeva any other approved make of 100 mm dia class- ASA 300 for the delivery pipe of pump and capable of with standing the normal Seat Pressure as per BIS 1414 API 600 (Cast steel) with nuts and bolts and rubber insertion shee of 21kgf/cm2 complete in all respect..
Providing and fiximg of double flanged swing type Cast steel Reflux valve of Leader/Kirloskar RG/Suchdeva any other approved make 125mm dia having Bye pass arrangement on the rising main of the Pump and capable of with standing normal Seat Pressure as as per BIS: 1414 API-600 with upto date ammendments.
Providing circular dial pressure gauge of Prega/Precision make complete with all accessories such as stop cock, Copper tubing as per IS: 3624-1987 with upto date ammendments.
Installation of all items appearing at S.No.as above as per the systematic drawing attached with the tender documents or as per the direction of Engineer-in Charge.The contarctor should ensure proper jointing of delivery pipe line of pump with the Rising main including all necessary accessories like increaser /reducer specials etc. as per site conditions and as per direction of the Engineer-in Charge.
Fixing of double flanged GMS piping work(layout to be approved by Engineer-in-Charge) for suction and delivery pipes suitable to pumps offered and common header as per the rising main respectively complete with all specials such as bends,Tees,Reducers Inceasers with companion flanges matching with the relevant specifications of the accessories as indicated in the Drawing i/c rubber/ asbestos gasket of 3 mm thickness as per IS : 2712-1979 and required number of Nuts and Bolts as per 1364-1983.-the pipes shall be as per relevent IS code and to withstand 1.5 times total head.
i) Suction Pipe 200 mm dia.
ii) Delivery Pipe 150 mm dia.
iii) Common Header 200mm dia. and will extend upto 5 metres from the outer wall of the pump house in the direction of Rising main of 100 mm dia to be joined.
Providing and laying 3 core copper PVC Insulated armoured power cable(One cable carrying all the three phases) of suitable size and capacity to motors and all other elelctrical equipments as per IS: 1554(P-I)1988 or latest with upto date amendments of Seimen/Gloster/IEC/ICC/EICO/National/Grandlay make including all other accessories such as thimble, flelxible pipes, solder, nuts & bolts, cable glands etc. laid in pipes or trenches under floor.
Providing and fixing double loop earthing with Copper wire/plate 600 mm x 600mm x3.15mm thick electrode complete with material such as thimble, Nuts & Bolts charcoal, salt as per IS:3043-1987 with upto date amenments GI plate & strip of suitable size for motors and other electrical equipments and digging ofpits etc. complete in all respect as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
