DRE026B027 Supply and Application of Polymer based Sealing System on annular plate projection of tanks at IOCL Digboi Refinery

Supply of Chime Area Protection system manufactured by M/s Stopaq Europe BV, Netherlands or M/s BELZONA Polymerics or M/s Demech Chemicals or any other equivalent, as per technical specifications, for annular plate of storage tanks at IOCL Digboi Refinery (Assam). Unit of Measurement 'M' shall represent the quantity of material required to seal the annular plate, measured along the circumferential edge of the annular plate of the tank. (The vendor shall take prior approval from EIC / HOD before supply / application of the chemicals/tank boot seal system)

Application including high pressure water jet cleaning, drying the area by compressed air, filler material application by injector gun, application of tapes, adhesion test, peel test , supervision in the scope of representative from manufacturer or authorized dealer, site preparation of concrete surface etc. to complete the work in all respect as per specifications and instructions of site engineer. Wrapping materials should be applied in such a way, it should cover the ring beam atleast 2 inch and should cover the annular projection & shell vertical plate atleast upto 20mm or as directed by EIC. Unit of Measurement 'M' shall be measured along the circumferential edge of the annular plate of the tank.

Removing the bitumen adjacent to annular plate upto a depth of 0.1 mtr, width 0.3 mtrs radially outward, disposal of the same outside the tank dyke at a suitable place, cleaning the site from debris including trimming of sides of the trenches, dressing, ramming and levelling the bottom of the trenches correct to level, grade etc. including bailing out of water, if any, vegetation removal etc., in layers not exceeding 20 cms including all tools, tackles, labourers as per specification and as per direction of EIC. Providing of necessary covers/barricades around the work area is to be done as per the safety requirement. Unit of measurement 'CUM' represents the volume of bitumen / PCC chipped and removed to facilitate application of the boot sealing system.
