Dismantling of old damaged mechanism & supply,installing, testing & commissioning of four position racking mechanism for a circuit breaker in a cubicle or housing providing Connected, Test, Disconnect and Out positions with following specifications Racking lead screw is mounted in the circuit breaker structure in its own support, rear end of the racking screw is threaded to engage and move a travelling nut which rides in guide slots. The outer ends of the travelling nut engage a pair of connecting links which rotate a pivoted roller bracket. The roller bracket carries a racking roller which engages a cam slot in a member extending from the rear portion of the cubicle or housing. The shape of the cam slot plus the increasing lever arm of the connecting links around the pivot pin on the nut provide a variable racking force which is needed for primary disconnect contact engagement. The central positioning of the racking mechanism makes it suitable for existing 11 kV of circuit breaker. racking mechanism must be interlocked with the closing mechanism; releasable locking means and interlock means are provided to limit the operation of the racking mechanism to conditions which are safe for the operator; thus, the unlocking of the racking mechanism after the breaker is tripped will hold the trip mechanism and hold it trip free as long as the racking mechanism is unlocked. An indexing element for the slide for the locking mechanism is provided for all the positions of the circuit breaker.

M&L for cleaning and tightening of nuts and bolts of electrical equipment in 33kV switchyard, including replacement of unserviceable nuts, bolts, and associated spare parts as required. Work also includes replacement or welding of damaged components wherever necessary. High-quality greasing gel shall be applied to all post/disc insulators, lightning arresters (LA), current transformers (CT), potential transformers (PT), isolators, breakers, and transformer incoming and outgoing terminals, including all movable parts and joint locations. All materials such as nuts, bolts, greasing gel, and welding consumables are deemed to be included in the item rate. The entire job shall be executed at 33kV switchyard locations including MRS Bhagat Line, Shivaji Line, and RR area, all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for supplying, assembling, and fixing insulator sets suitable for 33,000 volts operation, comprising the following: (a) Disc Type Insulator Assembly: Three-disc assembly of porcelain, vitreous finish in brown, white, or green colour, each disc having a height of 145mm and diameter of 225mm, conforming to IS:1445. The discs shall be of ball and socket type suitable for tension application and shall be installed complete with suitable tension clamps for the conductor. The entire disc assembly shall be capable of operating safely under a working pressure of 33,000 volts. The work includes carefully taking down and removing the old unserviceable disc insulators and assembling and erecting the new insulator set as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Pin Type Insulator: M&L for supplying and fixing of HT porcelain insulators, pin type, vitreous finish in white or green colour, suitable for 33,000 volts grade, including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanized iron washers, and one galvanized iron nut. The insulators shall conform to relevant IS standards and be suitable for outdoor installation under high voltage transmission conditions. The work includes taking down and removing old unserviceable pin type insulators and installing the new ones as specified and directed. All materials and workmanship shall comply with relevant IS specifications, and installation shall be carried out to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The rates quoted shall include all handling, transportation, erection, and dismantling works, complete in all respects.
