Disconnecting the power supply from 20 HP motor and decoupling and dismantling of pump from the base frame by unscrewing foundation nuts &bolts. Taking out pump from the pumping room with the help of manual skilled labour and shifting up to roadside. Loading in the Mechanical Transport and carriage to workshop for repair& then back carriage to LIS Karnailachak after conducting necessary repair. Repairs to 5 cusec HC pump at workshop by way of dismantling it for extraction of old and worn out parts i.e. bearings, sleeves check nut, gland packing, gasket, gland bushes, pump shaft, impeller. Repair to impeller by way brazing, turning and finishing to size. Repair to pump shaft by way of welding, turning, machining, threading& finishing to the required size. P/F of 01No. gland bushes, 01No. Check nut, 2 Nos. bearings, and 2 Nos. sleeves. Re-assembling all parts of pump with proper greasing and suitable gland packing and M. oil. Fabrication of new gland set and p/f of new rubber star cushioning for star coupling as per sample. Also include the repair to the base frame of pump and new foundation bolts. Job includes cost of material, labour charges, installation and testing on full load condition at LIS Karnailachak. Repair to the base frame of unit 2 motor by welding the damaged base frame and installing new foundation bolts by replacing the old worn-out bolts. Providing and installation of about 12 foot ms pole with concrete foundation for the support to the wire from pump room to the shed. Repair to 12” foot valve of unit No II by way of dismantling from the suction line and extracting the foot valve from the canal dismantling the foot valve at site, providing and fitting of leather sheet cut to size. Fitting the foot valve with suction pipe by P/F of rubber sheet joint. Lowering down foot valves in the canal at LIS Karnailachak. The job also include providing and fixing of 08 Nos. L shaped angle at equal spacing around the foot valves on three sides of a 4 ft X 10ft rectangular area, including cutting, welding, alignment and fixing. Further, providing and fixing of heavy duty MS wire mesh of about 18 ft of length and of required height to allow flow but restrict garbage and debris. The wire mesh shall be fixed to the angle frame using nuts and bolts and welding. Further the angle posts should be properly aligned and fixed in the ground with cement concrete and after completion of the framework, mesh wire should be attached to the structure using welding and fasteners. The work also includes application of one coat of primer and two coat of paint to angle and mesh for corrosion protection The complete job includes all sorts of cost of material, labour charges, dismantling works, assembling, hires charges of tools and tackles required to execute the job at site.
